"Fe, you are the best" I closed my eyes as I enjoyed my pedicure

"I know I am" he sat back in his chair, enjoying his as well

He treated me to mani pedis today.

"I still been stressed out about this whole thing with Karen" I brought up my mother "And on top of that, I'm about to bring a life into this world...that kind of scares me"

"Push the mama drama to the back of your mind for a second." his eyes popped open "Are you physically scared or emotionally scared?"

"Both" I confessed "What if something goes wrong during the labor? What if I'm not a good mother?"

"Eden, you are a strong woman. God got you and this baby, you'll be ok. Of course it's going to hurt, that's going to be a big headed ass baby" he said playfully

We shared a laugh "Leave my baby alone"

"But seriously, you and my nephew are some fighters. Everything is going to be ok. God got y'all. Physically and emotionally. Just believe and have faith." He nodded, holding my hand

"Thank you. I needed those words" I sighed, fanning away the tear that threatened to fall

"I can't wait till the baby gets here. You and these hormones are going to kill me" he rested his head on his hand "Now tell me about these problems with Karen"

"I feel like I'm floating on air" we pulled into the garage

"Same here. Ling Ling got some magic in her hands" I grabbed my purse as we got out the car

"Why does he have so many damn cars? Ain't that much driving in the world" Felix referred to all seven of Chris's cars

"My baby likes his cars" I shrugged, putting the PIN number in to open the door

"Babe, we're back" I placed my purse on the counter.

"I slipped getting out the pool!" I heard him yell from down the hall.

I rushed down the hall as fast as I could, making my way to the indoor pool.

Once I got in there, all the lights were off "Baby, what's going-"

"Surprise!" Multiple voices said as the lights came on

I jumped in shock, ready to run back down the hall. But once everything registered in my mind, a big smile spread across my face. Josh, Sean, and Chris stood in front of me in swimwear with big smiles on their faces.

"What is this for?" I asked, still smiling

"Well, you don't have a bunch of family to help you plan a baby shower, so I arranged a lil' get together for you." Chris said, walking towards me

"Awww" I felt myself getting emotional "That is so sweet, thank you baby" we embraced each other in a hug and what was meant to be a quick peck, but he had other plans

"Alriiiight" Felix said "That's the reason you pregnant now"

"Be quiet" I chuckled, turning my attention back to Chris "I love you"

"I love you too, sweetheart" He pecked my forehead "I brought you a bathing suit, it's upstairs on the bed."

"Ok, I'll be back."

Once I changed into my bathing suit, I headed back downstairs.

"Damn, you fine as shit" I felt arms hug me from behind

"Likewise" I giggled, feeling Chris's lips on my neck "Is that food I smell?" I sniffed the air

I felt him chuckle against my skin "Yeah. I'm outside on the grill. Want a burger?"

"Yes, with everything on it except-"

"Onions. I know" he finished my sentence "Extra pickles?"

"Yup" I grinned, pecking his lips

He gave me a slap on the ass before he walked off, and I headed over to the pool, where Felix was.

"That bump is poppin', honey" He popped his lips as he took pictures

"I wish I would pop. Pregnancy is stressful" A small groan left my lips "A blessing, but stressful" I stuck my feet in the water

"On the bright side, you only have a few weeks left."

"Then I can finally be normal again. No more crazy mood swings, eating for two, peeing all the time, and gas" I rubbed my belly

"Girl" he snickered "You were doing all that before you got knocked up"

"Shut up" I kicked a little water at him

"Ah! You got my hair wet" he rubbed his bald head

"Too much" I laughed

"Bitch, this is Brazilian" he popped his lips

"Baldy Brazilian, huh?" My laughter died down

"Damn right"

I shook my head

"Wassup with Chris's friends?" He asked while smirking at them

"Sorry to pop your cherry, but I don't think they're your type." Josh and Sean are straight as far as I know of

"I can make them my type. Everybody loves Fe. Feel me?"

"Behave." I giggled.

Benji ran over by the pool, licking my shoulder. "Hey, big head." I rubbed his fur filled body

"Can't stand that damn dog" Felix mugged Benji.

"You just mad because he pissed in your shoe" I giggled

"Bad ass dog." He flung some water on Benji "Don't let him jump in this pool."

"He knows not to." I sat Benji back down, about to get all the way in the pool. "Go to Chris." I instructed

He barked and took off outside.

Chris

"Wassup Big Ben" I saw Benji running over. I purposely dropped a hot dog on the ground so he could eat it.

"Yo girl ain't got no female friends?" Josh asked

"Nah. But Felix a cool dude" I answered

"Damn Breezy, I was hoping to see some bitches walking around with they ass out" Sean said

"At a get together for my fiancée that's eight months pregnant?"

"You never know" he shrugged

"Y'all niggas crazy" I laughed, flipping the burgers

"So uhh...you really gone get out the game?" Sean asked

"I told Eden I would, but I honestly don't know yet. The game is my life, but I'm also about to have a kid. I need to be around for that" I bit down on my bottom lip, contemplating

"Just know if you get out, I'm getting out too." He said

"Yeah, me too" Josh added "Y'all the only niggas I'll ever work for or with."

"If both of y'all get out, who I'ma give my empire to?" I asked

"Maybe you should just let it go." Sean shrugged "The lifestyle is nice, but we can't deal drugs forever."

"You right" Josh nodded "And we all got other things that we good at. Especially you, Breezy"

"Yeah, you talented forreal my nigga. Just go into business for yourself. There's other ways to be your own boss besides being a dealer." Sean sat in the lawn chair

"Y'all do got a point." I started making Eden's burger "I'ma think about it some more before I make a decision."

"Whatever you choose, we got ya back. It's the gang way or no way." Sean said

"Most definitely" Josh agreed

"I appreciate that" I said truthfully "Y'all niggas gone make me shed a tear" I said sarcastically

"Ass always gotta ruin something" the both smacked their teeth

"My burger ready yet?" Eden approached us

"Yeah" I put the bun on top and handed it to her

"Thank you, poppa" she pecked my lips

"You can do more than kiss the cook" I smirked

"Nigga" Josh butted in "You think we wanna see you all in love while we lonely?"

"Aw" Eden chuckled "One of you can go get to know my lovely best friend, Felix" she grinned, directing her attention over by the pool

Felix blew a kiss at them and waved.

"I'm cool" they said at the same time

Me and Eden busted out laughing "Uh-huh" she said before walking off

"Stay out of that jacuzzi" I called after her

"Boy, I'm grown" she fanned me off

"When your water break, you gone be crying like a damn baby."

Once everyone had gone home, Eden and I relaxed in the pool, watching the sunset.

"Thank you...again" she rested her arms around my neck

"You ain't gotta thank me." Seeing a smile on her face makes me happy

She kissed on my neck "You're so good to me, you make me feel like there's this huge ass ray of sunshine inside of me. I love you so much"

"I love you more" I rubbed on her thighs

"You deserve the world" we stood in the center of the pool

"My world ain't nothing without you in it" I kissed her deeply

When I say I love this woman, I mean it with all my heart.

I felt Mason's soft kicks from her stomach to mine "I love you too, lil man" I rested my hand on her belly.
