It was my favourite day of the week, Friday! A day on endless possibilities and the brink of the weekend!

We walked down to breakfast with Harry, Ron and Hermione, we sat down in our normal places about halfway up the hall.

The platters in the middle of the table were normally brimming with breakfast foods, but today they were all empty, which made me frown.

"I'm hungry Wise Girl," I moned.

"What am I gonna do about that Seaweed Brain?" She raised her eyebrow.

"Wel-" I started but was cut off.

"Students our fifth exchange student is joining us today, Frank Zhang"' Dumbledore's voice sounded throughout the hall, causing everyone to go silent. We looked at each other, the doors swung open to reveal Frank.

"Frankie!" I shouted and got up and man hugged him. Jason did the same, Piper pecked him on the cheek and Annabeth hugged him.

"Go get and sorted man," Jason said. We went and sat back down.

Frank went to the front and sat on the stall that Professor McGonagall had bought out along with the old hat.

He sat on the stall and she placed the hat on his head.

It was about 30 seconds then the hat screamed "GRYFFINDOR!" Frank took the hat off and sat down next to Piper at our clapping table.

We finished breakfast and I raised my eyebrows at Frank.

"Frank, you're going to love our pad?" He looked shocked.

"We have a pad?" He asked.

"Yes, we have a pad," I grabbed his arm and pulled him up the stairs followed by Piper, Jason and Annabeth.
