Lottie was skipping down the hallway of Beacon Hills high school, when she crashed into a large figure, sending her straight to the floor.

"Toto, what the fuck?" Lottie grunted as she grabbed Derek's outstretched hand, pulling herself up and as Derek scanned over her, making sure she was okay.

"Sorry Tiny, I was distracted." He apologised, still slightly dazed from his interaction with Beacon Hills new English teacher, Jennifer Blake.

"Distracted by what? Toto why are you even here?" Lottie asked, confused by why Derek decided to spend his free time skulking around a school.

"Uh, damage control." He excused. Lottie looked around his bulking figure to see the English classroom behind him as he grabbed her arm lightly and pulled her away from the room.

"Why are you pulling me away? And why are you looking so sheepish?" Lottie asked, spinning on her heel and standing in front of him as they reached the school's exit. And then it dawned on her. "Oh my God. Were you flirting with my English Teacher?" She exclaimed as Derek looked shy. "You were! Bad Toto, she's weird. Bad vibes."

"I wasn't flirting. I was threatening." Derek tried even though he knew Lottie had sussed him out.

"Uh huh. I don't believe you for a second. You never looked this flustered when you threatened Scott. Toto, you're meant to be telling her to keep her big mouth shut about the other night." Lottie sighed.

Whilst she was out with Stiles and Lydia, Scott, Derek, Isaac and surprisingly Chris Argent were luring Cora and Boyd to the school, trapping them in the basement... where weirdly Jennifer Blake - their English teacher was. And now everyone was in panic mode, trying to get her to keep quiet. There was something about her, Lottie didn't trust. And she was normally right.

"I did threaten her. Lightly. But there's something- I am not discussing my love life with you." Derek sighed, questioning his life and why he let this teenage girl into said life.

"SO YOU DO FANCY HER!" Lottie shouted with a chuckle as he shushed her and gestured with his hands for her to keep the noise down, mortified.

"I don't-"

"Don't lie to me Toto. It won't end well and you know it." Lottie threatened with a glare.

"Okay, maybe I do a little. Again, not discussing this with you. Don't you have class?" Derek tried as he attempted to leave. Only to be stopped by Lottie jumping on his back.

"I did until you decided to pull me away from the classroom. I can live without Biology. I'm passing with straight A's anyway. Come on Toto. If you don't tell me who are you gonna tell? I can't imagine your little wolf pack wanna hear all the horny details." She laughed as she poked him in the ear whilst he attempted to shake her off.

"Horny details? Jesus Tiny." Derek sighed a laugh. He'd rarely admit it but he truly adored his Tiny, she was a sister to him now. "If I promise to keep you updated can we please stop this conversation?"

"Pinky promise and I'll consider it." She held out her pinky in front of his face as he linked his pinky with hers. "Now, are you gonna ask her out?" She asked as he dropped her back to the floor. "Fine! I'll stop. I'm just taking an interest. Although if you do date her, we can't go on double dates. She's my teacher. Weird."

"Double- Okay time to go. Love you Tiny." Derek said as he tried to leave but Lottie stopped him once again.

"You love me?" She asked innocently with a big grin on her face as Derek realised what he said. "Aw, Toto. Love you too big guy." She hugged him tightly as he held her too. She was proud of him, he was so closed off, she was just happy she could break down those walls. She'd found a brother in not only him but Isaac too and she loved them both dearly. "Now piss off." She smiled as she shoved him away.

"Laters, Tiny." He laughed as he walked away climbing into his Camaro and speeding off as Lottie got a text message.

Allycat: Can we meet? I think we need to talk xxxxxx

Lottie frowned slightly before biting her lip and sending a reply.

Lotts: I think so too. Skipped class so meet at the bleachers?xxxxx

When Lottie received confirmation she sighed and made her way to the bleachers, mentally preparing for this discussion. She knew it was time for them to try and recover their friendship. She missed the girl far too much to continue this way.

Allison was already at the bleachers, nervously picking at her gloved hands before looking up and smiling hesitantly at Lottie who smiled back.

"Hey Allycat." Lottie greeted softly as she sat next to her, turning her body to face the nervous girl.

"Hey Lotts." Allison replied, before inhaling deeply. "Look, Scott explained everything to me. How my mum was going to kill him and probably you too and you were protecting him and Derek was protecting him. It's just she was my mum you know? And I know you're the reason I had that last conversation with her and I cannot be more grateful. But despite that; my actions are unforgivable. I shot you Lottie. Multiple times." Allison scoffed at herself.

"I'm aware of that." Lottie sarcastically chuckled.

"Sorry doesn't come close to how awful I feel. And I know you probably don't want to forgive me but I swear from here on out I will do everything I can to make it up to you-"

"Allycat. Look, I don't want to drag this out any longer. I love you. You're one of my best friends and both of our actions have hurt each other. I won't lie and say that what you did, didn't affect me. It did. You shot me. Three times. But I also know that me defending Toto hurt you too. I apologise for that. I'm not expecting you to understand my reasons but I'll explain them if that will help us?" Lottie offered, knowing that her reasons were valid but wanting to be sympathetic too.

"I'd like that."

"I defend Toto because he has no one to defend him. He's one of my best friends and he was saving Scott. I know he bit your mother. I know he did. Forgive me, this may sound insensitive but Allycat, she made that choice. And despite her trying to kill me, I wish she'd chosen differently and that you still had her. I really wish you still had her Allison." Lottie reached out and held Allison's hand as a tear fell from her eye at Lottie's words. Despite Lottie's words hurting her, she knew it was the truth, her mother had chosen to end her life - not Lottie, not Derek. But Allison couldn't forgive Derek. Not yet anyway.

"I know. I wish she was here too. But she's not and you are and you're one of my best friends Lottie." Allison croaked out as her voice cracked, tears flowing freely now. "I want to make this right. I'll do whatever- I'm just so sorry."

"I'm sorry too. I think we'll be okay, you know?" Lottie offered, nudging the crying girl slightly with a small smile as she wrapped her arm around her. Allison sniffled slightly as she rest her head on Lottie's shoulder.

"You think so?"

"I know so. Allycat and Lottie forever eh? How does that sound?" Lottie asked, knowing in her heart she'd forgiven Allison, she'd just needed time.

"Forever sounds perfect. Love you Lotts."

"Love you too, Allycat. Now wipe those tears away. If I'm right, you have a French exam in ten minutes so you need to get that cute little butt of yours out of here!" Lottie grinned as Allison wiped her tears and lifted her head up from Lottie's shoulder.

"God, you're right. I should go. Can we have a sleepover soon? Me you and Lyds?" Allison asked as she got her bag and stood up.

"Do you even need to ask?" Lottie smirked as she also stood and engulfed Allison in a hug, squeezing her tightly, much like she had with Derek moments earlier. "Now, go ace that exam. I'll see you later." And with one final squeeze Allison smiled and went on her way. "Perfect. Now where are my boys? Oh fuck, I have a cross-country meet!" And with that she sprinted to the girls locker room.

✧༺♥༻✧

In the sweaty boys locker room stood Lottie's boys, Stiles and Scott, discussing their latest theories on the potential human sacrifices.

"We looked everywhere. It's like he just walked away. Left the dog and his car." Scott explained to Stiles. He'd been at work the other night and a client and his dog had been in for a check up. When Scott left work, the dog and the client's car were there but there was no client.

"What if he was a virgin? You think he was a virgin?" Stiles asked.

"Definitely not. Deaton asks me to have sex with all of the customers. It's a new policy." Scott joked, laughing at himself, proud of his joke whilst Stiles stares blankly at him. "Lotts would've found that funny. But no, I don't know if he was a virgin. And why are you talking about him like he's already dead? He's missing." Scott asked as he zipped up his hoodie.

"Missing and presumed dead because he's probably a virgin. You know who else is a virgin? Me." Stiles exclaimed, beginning to panic. "You know what that means?" He asked rhetorically, not waiting for Scott to answer. "My lack of sexual experience is now literally a threat to my life.  I need to have sex. I need to have sex like today. Like right now. I need to call Lotts right now. Lottie needs to sex me right now. But that's not romantic. It's not what I planned. Oh god I'm gonna die a virgin." Stiles rambled as his locker door was slammed shut by Danny.

"All right, I'll do it." Danny smirked.

"What?" Stiles asked, confused.

"Meet me at my place at nine. Plan to stay the night. I like to cuddle." Danny held his smirk as Stiles looked on perplexed.

"Are you kidding?" Stiles asked.

"Yes. I'm kidding. Like I'd do that to Lottie." Danny rolled his eyes walking away.

"Don't toy with a guy's emotions like that, Danny. It's really not attractive. It's not. Not at all." Stiles called out after him, shaking his head as Isaac ran in the door, late.

"Wait." Scott paused Stiles quickly. "You haven't head sex with Lottie yet?" Scott asked curiously.

"Scott there's not really been time? Not to do it the way I want, I want it to be special and I can hardly do that with human sacrifices and babysitting everyone." Stiles laughed lightly, thinking about how he and Lottie were rarely alone these days. "Besides, we have forever together. She's it for me Scott. There's nobody else. So why rush?"

"Lahey, happy to have you back. Not happy you're late." Coach called out.

"Sorry, Coach." Isaac replied, heading over to Scott and Stiles.

"I'll remind you all that cross country is not optional for lacrosse players. I don't care what you little delinquents are smoking at night. It's the 3am convenience store runs that worry me. Last thing I need is you turning into a bunch of fat asses in the off season–" Coach cut himself off as Isaac removed his shirt to reveal his defined six-pack. "So... work on that."

The boys walked out to the track they'd be running, all smiling when they saw Lottie holding up her middle finger to Greenburg as he ogled her in her tight shorts. Stiles jogged over and stood in front of her, blocking Greenberg's view as Isaac and Scott moved to block his view further, sending him their worst death glares.

"Hey baby!" Lottie grinned up at Stiles as he placed his hands on her waist, kissing her forehead gently.

"Hello trouble." He smiled back. "Ready to lose the race?"

"Stiles, sweetie. I was faster than you before getting all my extra sparkle. You were never going to win." She pouted up at him, flickering his nose and laughing as he tickled her.

"Okay guys, line up!" Coach called out. Lottie and her boys lined up only for Lottie and Isaac to be sandwiched by Ethan and Aiden, the school's newest additions as they looked at Isaac with a devious smirk. They looked like they were an old rival of Isaac's coming to cause trouble. Lottie felt her gut churn - something was going to happen. Coach blew the whistle and immediately everyone was off, the twins steaming ahead as a look of realisation fell onto Isaac's face.

"It's them." Isaac growled as his eyes glowed yellow. Lottie deducted that Isaac had assumed that the twins were responsible for the deaths- as well as the disappearance of his mystery girl.

"Isaac- wait!" Lottie called out as he sped off. Scott ran after him as Lottie stayed in pace with Stiles, not leaving him behind. "And then there were two." She smiled as the boy had already begun to pant, breathless. "Come on, they're gonna kill each other if we aren't careful." She picked up the pace, holding Stiles' hand awkwardly as they ran.

Lottie was right. She heard the twins threaten Isaac and in a second she'd sped over to them and swiped at Aidan as he broke Isaac's arm whilst Scott tackled Ethan. Lottie swung another punch at Aiden's jaw, knocking his face to the side as blood flung out of his mouth. "Now what the FUCK do you think you're doing?" She growled, flashing her white eyes and fangs at the boy who blanched in shock.

The five supernatural beings were in a standoff, Lottie in front of Isaac and Scott whilst Aidan and Ethan glared. Their standoff was cut short by a scream echoing amongst the trees of the wood trail. Lottie immediately searched for Stiles and let out a sigh of relief seeing him safe- despite knowing a scream of that pitch couldn't escape him - she still panicked. Running over to him she grabbed his hand and they all ran towards the noise, stopping short when they saw yet another dead body.

"It's him, isn't it?" Stiles asked, not receiving a reply as Scott looked on in horror. Because there, tied up against a tree was Kyle - his client from the night before - he'd been strangled by his own dog lead. Immediately gasps and cries were heard, someone even vomited as chaos ensued and emergency services were called as Lottie looked away from the scene.

"These poor souls." She whispered as Stiles stroked the back of her head comfortingly. He looked between the body and the pathway that his father was inevitably going to be coming up soon to assess the scene and he knew he needed to get as much information as possible, as well as give as much information as possible - without exposing the supernatural.

Eventually Sheriff Stilinski and his Deputies showed up with determination on their minds as they assessed the crime scene. The Deputy immediately got into action pushing people back as Stilinski walked over to his son and Lottie.

"Dad, look--look at this. It's just like the others." Stiles pointed out the blood on the back of the dead boy's head.

"I know. Now please go back to school. Coach, give us a hand?" Stilinski replied as he looked on at the scene with a certain tiredness in his eyes.

"You heard them. Nothing to see here. He was probably just some homeless kid." Coach shouted out insensitively to the crowd of teenagers gathered around the body.

"Coach, he was a senior." Scott pointed out glumly, feeling the weight of guilt begin to crush him.

"He wasn't on the team was he?" Coach asked as Lottie took off her trainer and threw it at the Coach's head, unimpressed by his lack of sensitivity. "What was that for?" Coach groaned as he rubbed his head whilst Isaac went over and picked up Lottie's trainer.

"Stop being so insensitive, Coach. That's someone's son." Lottie scolded before a horrified scream broke out behind them. Turning around Lottie saw a girl whose name she thought was Ashley, holding a hand to her mouth, trying to contain her heartbroken sobs.

"No, no, God no--Kyle." Ashley cried out as she pushed through the crowd to reach her dead boyfriend's body.

Lottie clutched Stiles tighter as he squeezed her hand three times. Both their minds clouded over with thoughts of them being in Ashley's position and the pain that overcame them was almost unbearable. They held each other a little stronger after that as Scott pulled Isaac away and they followed.

Isaac huffed as he was pulled away from the scene, "You see the way the twins looked at him?"

"You mean like they had no idea what on Earth happened?" Stiles asked.

"They knew." Isaac argued, adamant it was them. Lottie knew that Isaac was projecting his anger to the twins because they were responsible for the disappearance of his mystery girl. Lottie however didn't think that they were responsible for these sacrifices. Stiles and Lottie had been ranting about the sacrifices late one night, determined to figure it out.

"The kid was strangled with a garrote. Am I the only one recognising the total lack of werewolfitude in these murders?" Stiles asked rhetorically as Lottie nudged him. "Oh and Lottie, Lottie agrees."

"You think it's a coincidence? People start dying right when they show up?" Isaac scoffed.

"No. I think it's connected to them for sure. But I don't think they're killing these people." Lottie shrugged as Stiles wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

"Scott?" Isaac tried.

"I don't know yet?" Scott offered, looking as confused and conflicted as ever.

Stiles blinked in offence, "You don't know?"

Scott turned to Stiles, "He's got a point. Seriously, dude? Human sacrifices?"

"Okay, your eyes turn into glow sticks, hair grows out of your face then instantly disappears, if I stabbed you it would magically heal and you have trouble believing human sacrifices? Lotts grows a tail for fucks sake!" Stiles ranted as Lottie laughed lightly behind her hand.

Scott turned back to Isaac, "That's a good point too."

"I don't care. They killed that kid. They killed the girl who saved me. I'm going to kill them too." Isaac decided before running off.

"Well, that went well." Lottie chimed in.

Lottie was sat bored in her chemistry class, listening to Mr Harris drone on as she played rock, paper, scissors with Danny when he abruptly stopped to answer a question.

"Danny, what do we know about Momentum?" Mr Harris asked.

"It's the product of mass and velocity. The more massive something is, the faster it's going." Danny replied easily as Lottie poked his ribs.

"Nerd alert." She teased as Danny rolled his eyes with a smile. The next few events happened quickly. Isaac bolted out of the room and in seconds everyone in the class had upped and left too after hearing a commotion in the hallway. Lottie elbowed her way through the crowd to see Isaac standing in shock and a bloodied Ethan being helped up by Danny.

"What is this? What's going on?" Mr Harris asked, looking around.

"He just came at me." Ethan sputtered out as he spat out some blood.

"Isaac? What the hell did you do?" Mr Harris spat out, furious. Whilst his attention was off Ethan, he didn't notice Ethan send a cruel smirk to Lottie and Scott as they watched the event unfold. The look on Isaac's face confirmed Lottie's thoughts - he'd been set up - and Lottie would be damned if she let the twins get away with it.

"Don't let it bother you. It's only lunchtime detention. If all they want right now is to piss you off, then don't give in. They're just trying to get to you." Scott told Isaac as he and Lottie followed the young werewolf to his locker.

"Not just me." Isaac pointed out as he looked over to Aiden who was clearly flirting with Lydia as Lottie rolled her eyes with a smile.

"Rest assured boys, Lydipad can look after herself." Lottie chuckled as she walked away, "Stop letting them get to you, look at them." She glanced between Ethan and Aiden as they glanced her way. "What on Earth makes you or them think they are worth our time boys?" She smirked, flicking her middle fingers up to the twins before searching for Stiles.

When she eventually found him, she wasn't expecting to be greeted with the sight of Ashley slapping him round the face, however he had just asked the poor girl if her recently deceased boyfriend was a virgin so Lottie figured she'd let it slide this once.

"Stiles! Did you really ask her that? Right now?" Lottie whisper-shouted as she approached the boy.

"She-she slapped me?" Stiles asked in shock.

"Of course she did, you idiot!"

"Have you completely lost your mind? Do you know what's going on here? I've got four murders. You see those guys in suits in there? That's the FBI. They're pulling together a task force to help because it looks like we have a full blown serial killer on our hands. Do you get that?" Stilinski scolded his son as he came storming out of the office he'd been occupying.

"I get it, Dad." Stiles sighed, looking at his shoes.

"Then what the hell do you think you're doing?" His dad asked, bewildered.

"Trying to find a pattern."

Lottie and Stiles quietly walked hand in hand towards Kyle's locker where people had already started laying tributes. Stiles scanned his eyes over the tributes, looking for a clue or a sign, something he'd missed. Lottie scanned the hallway, a big smile gracing her lips when she spotted a familiar face. "Boyd!"

"Lottie." He smiled politely, fidgeting with a pin in his hands. "How are you?"

"I'm good thank you, how've you been? I was hoping you'd reach out once you'd de-wolfed?" Lottie asked curiously, she'd tried time and time again to be friends with the boy but he was so closed off - it was a work in progress.

"Well my best friend is dead, and now another one of my friends is dead." Boyd said, pointing to Kyle's locker. "Figured making friends is basically like signing up for dying." He shrugged as Lottie frowned sadly.

"Boyd, if you'd let me, I'd like to be your friend. I don't have a death wish or anything, I just think we're in a town that's cloaked in events that are beyond our control. I'm not saying we need to have sleepovers or paint each other's nails - but I'd like to be there for you?" Lottie asked almost shyly.

"I suppose that could be alright." Boyd shrugged and let a small smile slip as he saw Lottie beam up at him. That was until Stiles came walking over.

"Hey, I didn't know you were back in school." Stiles smiled awkwardly at the tall boy.

"Yeah, I would have told you. But we're not actually friends." Boyd sassed as Stiles paused in realisation.

"Oh yeah, wait did you know Kyle?"

"We were in JROTC together." Boyd explained as he placed his Air Force ROTC patch on the display. "He was a good guy." With that he sent a final smile to Lottie and walked away as Stiles turned his attention back to display as Lottie sighed.

Lottie had been helping Stiles search for clues when she suddenly felt alarm bells ringing in her mind and her gut drop - something was wrong. "I need to go." She abruptly announced to Stiles, kissing him on the cheek and running down the corridor, letting her feet lead her. Her mind kept repeating one word over and over again: Isaac, Isaac, Isaac.

Lottie reached the corridor at the same time as Scott and they both wore looks of panic when they saw the supply cupboard Isaac was in was blocked by a soda machine. Scott immediately moved the machine as Lottie opened the door and pulled Isaac out whilst Scott ran to Allison who was also in there. Isaac's eyes glowed yellow as Scott yelled his name in a commanding tone, sighing in relief when Isaac's eyes transformed back to normal.

"Don't shout at him. It's not his fault!" Lottie scolded as she wrapped Isaac up in a hug. "I'm going to kill them. I swear to God I'm going to kill them." She mumbled, thinking of the trauma Isaac would've just experienced.

She'd been witness to a lot of Isaac's nightmares, he had to sleep with the bedroom door and windows open or else he'd feel like the walls were caving in. Most nights when Isaac had first moved in, Lottie would wake up to Isaac asleep on her bedroom floor - he claimed he felt safer knowing she was there.

"I didn't mean it--I didn't mean to do that." Isaac stuttered out to Allison.

"It's okay. It wasn't your fault." Allison smiled softly as Scott wiped away the blood Isaac had drawn.

"I guess now we know they want to do more than get you angry. They want to get someone hurt." Scott fumed, a dark look taking over his face.

"So are we gonna do something?" Isaac asked as Scott watched a murderous look fall onto Lottie's face.

"Yeah. I'm going to get them angry. Really angry." Scott smirked as Lottie chuckled darkly.

"Finally."

A little while later, Lottie was running to her class with Scott, ready for their plan to begin. Triumphant smirks graced their faces as they prepared to enter the class and to their luck, the seats either side of Aiden were empty.

"Let's do this." Scott grinned as he entered the room, Lottie smirking as she followed, sitting next to Aiden and keeping that look on her face as he turned to glance between both her and Scott.

Lottie heard her phone ping and held it up to see a picture of Isaac sitting proudly on Aiden's motorcycle.

"Okay everyone, I know this is the last class of the day. To be honest I want to get out of here too and... and I think I forgot my point. Just--you know--take your seats." Miss Blake announced to the class as Lottie rolled her eyes at the woman's voice - there was something about her that didn't sit right with Lottie.

Receiving a nod from Scott, Lottie began to unload her bag and at the same time as Scott. After unloading her books, Lottie pulled out a large metal sprocket whilst Scott pulled out another gleaming metallic piece with wires all over it - both pieces from Aiden's bike.

"Scotty, I don't know about you but I think this might be important?" Lottie grinned innocently as she pulled out another piece of metal from Aiden's bike.

"No idea what this is." Scott sighed, playing along as he also continued to pull out motorcycle parts.

"What about you Aiden? This ringing any bells in that empty head of yours?" Lottie asked, placing the parts on his desk with a smirk as they all heard the rumble of Aiden's motorcycle enter the class hallways.

"Aiden, wait--don't!" Ethan called out but he was already up and out of the room as Lottie high-fived Scott and stuck her tongue out at the remaining twin. The class was once again up on their feet and speeding out to see what was the latest commotion and Lottie and Scott led the charge. They beamed as they saw their plan had worked as Aiden stood holding his motorcycle in anger as Isaac stood to the side with Allison, wearing matching smirks.

"You've got to be kidding me. You know this is going to result in a suspension?" Miss Blake fumed as Aiden looked on with rage as he did not know that this was going to happen.

"Well done team." Lottie air high-fived Isaac and Allison from across the hall.

Lottie was tiredly making her way out of the school, ready to go home when she saw Lydia standing still in the music room. Grinning at the sight of her favourite girl, she entered the room. "Lydipad! There you are- Lydipad?" Lottie asked as Lydia removed her phone from her ear.

"I've already rang Stiles. Lo, look." Lydia mumbled over to the girl, holding out an outstretched hand for the brunette to take, which she did instantly. Nail marks and blood were coated on the piano. The teacher had been taken. Lottie wrapped Lydia up in a hug as Stiles and Deaton entered the room.

"Doc, any help would be very--you know--helpful." Stiles requested as he walked over to the girls whilst looking for any clues. Earlier on Stiles and Deaton had deducted it definitely was sacrifices in threes.

"Each grouping of three would have its own purpose, its own type of power. Virgins, Healers, Philosophers, Warriors." Deaton explained.

"Wait. Warriors? Could that be like a soldier?" Lottie asked curiously.

"Absolutely." Deaton agreed as Stiles walked over to the music teacher's desk and pulled out a picture of the teacher. It was his wedding day and there he stood, arms wrapped around his soon to be widow. Wearing an army uniform.

"Kyle was in Junior ROTC with Boyd." Lottie explained to Deaton as she looked over the picture.

"That's got to be it. That's the pattern. Where's Boyd?"

"Home by now. I'll call him." Stiles answered, pulling out his phone and dialling the boy's number.

"Lydipad?" Lottie asked, noting Lydia's worried look.

"I just thought of someone else with a military connection. It's been there on his desk the whole time." Lydia explained.

"The West Point honour code. It's sitting right on his desk." Lottie added, as she realised what Lydia was talking about. "Harris." And with that they were back on their way to their chemistry class- where they were met with silence, an empty room and Mr Harris' briefcase.

Stiles glanced at the papers Harris had been grading with a puzzled frown. "Look at this, Lotts."

"This test is graded R." Lottie pointed out curiously as Lydia pointed out another one had been graded H.

"Stiles, remember I told you Druid is the Gaelic word for Wise Oak?" Deaton asked, referring back to the conversation they'd had at the clinic.

"Yeah?"

"When a Druid went down the wrong path, the Wise Oak was sometimes said to have become a Dark Oak. There's a Gaelic word for that as well..." He looked amongst the teenagers ominously. "...Darach."
