'why are you smiling like that? have you got gas issues or something? 'cos I'm not getting in a car with you if you're about to shit yourself'

Sitting in the dingy Sheriff's office was not how Lottie thought she'd be spending her evening, yet there she was, stuffing her face with two of her favourite men. Stiles and Papa Stilinski. She watched on with a smirk as Stilinski lifted his burger to his mouth, only to frown in disgust when he took a bite.
"What the hell is this?" He spat, looking between his son and his best friend.
"It's a turkey burger." Stiles offered with a sheepish grin.
"I asked for a hamburger."
"Turkey's healthier." Stiles replied looking to Lottie for help.
"I'm staying out of this. If you want some of my nuggets though Noah, you're more than welcome to tuck in." Lottie offered her share-box of nuggets towards the man, laughing as Stiles smacked the box away from his dad.
"Why are you trying to ruin my life, Stiles? Why can't you be more like Lottie eh?" He asked, sending a subtle wink to the girl.
"I'm trying to extend your life. And everyone knows Lottie is one of a kind. Can't repeat perfection. Now eat it and tell me what you found." Stiles told the man, unaware of the compliments he'd just paid Lottie and the effect he had on her as she choked on her food, a blush coating her cheeks as Stilinski looked on with a smile.
"I'm not sharing confidential police work with a couple of teenagers. Stop looking at the board, both of you." Stilinski instructed the pair as they peered around him and looked at the crime board behind him.
"What are those arrows pointing to the pictures?" Lottie asked curiously, pointing to the pictures of the crime scenes.
"All right, okay--I found one thing. Will you stop if I tell you?" When he received nods from the duo, he continued. "The mechanic and the couple who were murdered all had something in common."
"All three?" Stiles queried.
"All three. And you know what I always say. One's an incident. Two's a coincidence." Stilinski continued.
"Three's a pattern." Stiles and Lottie chirped in sync.
Stilinski clasped his hands together on the desk in front of him as he continued. "The mechanic, the husband, the wife. All the same age. All twenty four."
"But what about Mr. Lahey? Isaac's dad wasn't anywhere near twenty four." Stiles interrupted, thinking aloud.
"Good for nothing, waste of good air." Lottie mumbled, a rage like no other filled her as she remembered what Isaac's dad did to her friend.
"That's what made me think either Lahey's murder wasn't connected or the ages had to be coincidence." Stilinski offered, looking between the two before pulling out a file labelled: LAHEY. "Until I found this..." He showed the file to the duo as they leaned forward with keen interest. Stilinski pushed the file over to them, showing a picture of a young man in an army uniform. "Isaac Lahey had an older brother named Victor."
"Died in combat. God, could poor Isaac catch a break. An abusive father and a dead mother and brother." Lottie read aloud, feeling a new level of sympathy for the boy.
"If he was still alive today, guess how old he would be?" Stilinski asked the pair.
"Twenty-four?" They asked at the same time, sinking in the chairs when Stilinski confirmed they were right.
"Well shit then." Lottie mumbled. Looking at Stiles, she raised her eyebrows as they both had an idea at the same time. Stiles turned back to his father.
"What if same age means same class?" Stiles offered, looking at the picture of the mechanic wearing a Beacon Hills lacrosse jersey. "Did you think of that?"
"Well... I would have. Lahey's file came in to me only two hours ago."
"Two hours, Dad? Someone could be dying." Stiles practically shouted.
"I'm sure he's well aware of that Stiles. Now come on, let's grab some yearbooks and investigate." Lottie sympathised with Stilinski as he looked at her gratefully. Moments later there were piles of high school yearbooks and packed transcript folders scattered across the desk as the three of them began to look through them.
Stiles pointed to a picture in the yearbook he was holding. "Here, look. This is it. Class of 2006. They all went to Beacon Hills High." Stile turned the book to face his father and his friend.
"Including Isaac's brother." Stilinski pointed out.
"What if they all knew each other? Two of them got married right? So what if they all hung out together. They might have even had the same classes?" Lottie thought aloud.
Stilinski paused. "Same teacher. Look." He pointed to the book showing the two teenagers.
"They were all in his class? All of them?" Stiles asked.
"All four of them. I'm not sure how Lahey fits into all this, but this- this is definitely a pattern." Stilinski concluded. Looking over the transcript title: Intermediate Chemistry, he noticed a name at the top, MR ADRIAN HARRIS. Lo and behold, there stood their very own Mr Harris in a photograph. Quickly, Stilinski yanked the desk phone off its hook, dialling a number quickly. "Grab the one for 2006. These names here? We need faces for all of them."
"Which ones?" Stiles asked.
"All of the names in the Chemistry class. If the killer isn't done killing..." Stilinski began.
"One of them's next." Lottie finished as she started to devour the information in the 2006 yearbook with Stiles.

Across town Derek and Isaac made their way into the Animal Clinic as Scott let them in.
"What's he doing here?" Scott sighed, looking at Isaac.
"I need him." Derek replied, looking bored already.
"I don't trust him."
"Well he doesn't trust you either." Isaac retorted childishly.
"Well you know who does?" Derek asked. Not waiting for a reply he continued. "Lottie. And if Lottie trusts him then that should be good enough for you Scott. And you know what, I don't care. Now where's the vet and is he going to help us or not?"
"Well that depends." Replied Deaton, entering the room. "Your friend Jackson. Are we planning to kill him? Or save him?"
"Save him." Scott replied as both Derek and Isaac replied telling Deaton the opposite, making Scott glare and repeat himself. "Save him."
The trio made their way into the examination room as Deaton began to unlock a drawer containing dozens of glass jars, all of which had different grains and petals inside. Derek's eyes skimmed over all the Celtic symbols on the lids of all the jars before his hand grabbed a hold of Isaacs arm.
"Careful what you touch." Derek warned as Deaton reached for a jar labelled with a shield knot on it and began to examine the contents.
"What are you? Some kind of witch?" Isaac asked, utterly confused by what he was seeing.
"No, I'm a veterinarian. But I do have experience treating an unusually wide variety of animals." He retorted as he placed the jar back on the shelf, entirely unsatisfied with his findings. "I'm not sure if anything here is going to be an effective defence against a paralytic toxin."
"We're open to suggestions." Derek sighed, the feeling of defeat was one he was becoming all too familiar with recently. Isaac looked up from the jars.
"How about an effective offence?"
"We tried." Derek sighed again, he turned to Deaton. "I nearly ripped its head off and Argent emptied an entire clip into it. The thing just gets back up. If anything, I think it's getting stronger."
"Has it shown any weaknesses?" Deaton asked.
Derek turned to face Deaton, "One. It's either afraid of water or it can't swim." He explained.
"Does that go for Jackson as well?" Deatong continued his questions.
"Nope. He's a perfect swimmer. I think he's on the swim team too actually?" Scott mused.
Deaton thought to himself for a moment. Then removed a new item from the drawers in front of him. An old, scratched steel pendant he revealed to the trio of boys across the room. "Essentially you're trying to catch two people. A puppet and puppeteer." He explained as he showed them the symbol of Cerunnos, a horned God seated in a meditative position. He's encircled by a snake which he grasps at the throat in his right hand. "The other night, when the husband and wife were killed, one killed the husband. But the other had to take care of the wife. Do we know why?"
"I don't think Jackson could do it. His mother died pregnant too. She might have been murdered. I think he couldn't let the same thing happen to someone else." Scott theorised, thinking out loud.
"How do you know it's not part of the rules? The Kanima kills murderers. If Jackson killed the wife, the baby would have died too." Isaac added onto Scott's theory.
Scott turned to the boy with a puzzled look on his face, "Then wouldn't that make your father a murderer then Isaac?"
"Wouldn't put it past him." Isaac shrugged, unaware of the looks being sent his way by his peers.
"But the Bestiary said if the bond between the Kanima and the Master is strong enough, then the Kanima will kill whoever the Master wants it to." Derek added.
"Hold on. The book says they're bonded. So what if the fear of water isn't from Jackson's fears, but instead from the person controlling him?" Deaton pondered as he pulled out another jar from the drawer. Holding the jar up to the light, the boys could see it was filled with grey ash. "That could mean the same properties that affect a creature like the Kanima will also affect its human Master."
"And that means what?" Isaac asked.
"It means we can catch them." Scott answered. "We can catch both of them."

Lottie was sitting shotgun in Roscoe as Stiles pulled into the school parking lot, gazing at him absentmindedly as Scott grinned at the two from the back seat. Stiles parked up and turned to look at Lottie briefly, smiling when he saw she was already looking at him, before he jumped out of the Jeep and made his way round to her side, opening the door for her and helping her down as Scott started to complain about the upcoming rave.
"There's got to be some other way to get tickets, right?"
"It's a secret show. There's only one way. And it's a secret." Stiles retorted, grinning when he felt a small hand clasp his. Lottie beamed back at him until she saw a figure approach, her smile dropping quickly.
"Hey Lottie, do any of you know why nobody's getting suspended for what happened the other day?" Matt asked as he approached the trio, making sure to single Lottie out. His gaze fell to her intertwined hand, locked with Stiles, his smile fell slightly.
"Forget about it. Nobody got hurt." Stiles sighed, being a tad insensitive.
"I got hurt? I got a concussion?" Matt replied, hurt seeping into his voice.
"Okay, well nobody got seriously hurt." Stiles told the boy, growing more impatient.
Matt stood in shock before continuing, "I was in the ER for six hours?"
"You really want the truth, Matt?" Stiles started as Lottie let go of his hand and face-palmed, knowing this was going to end horribly. "Your little bump on the head is about this high on our list of problems right now!" Stiles finished as he held his hand as low to the ground as possible without actually touching it.
"Are you okay? Ignore him, he has a concussion." Lottie asked, joking as she pulled Stiles up from his bent position, sending him a glare.
"I'm okay now. Thank you Lottie." Matt replied, sending the girl a smile and eye contact that lasted just a second too long before he turned to Scott. "And I saw you didn't get tickets last night either."
Scott nodded slowly, "Yeah, you know if they're still selling any?"
"No. Lottie," He continued, turning to the girl, "I managed to find us two online last night. So we are all set." He grinned at the girl who smiled back awkwardly. She subtly raised her hand up and rested it on the small of Stiles back. "You two should keep trying. It sounds like everyone's gonna be there." Matt almost teased as he sent one last smile to Lottie before walking off as the bell rang.
"Lottie, wait are you-" Stiles started before Scott cut him off.
"Last time, whoever's controlling Jackson had to kill someone because he couldn't finish the job. So what do you think he's going to do this time?"
"They'll be there to finish the job." Lottie sighed, linking arms with her boys before heading into the school. The trio walked silently until Lottie stopped in her tracks. "Fucking hell, I've got a date with a possible teenage psycho."
✧༺♥༻✧
Lottie sat in the driver's seat of her car, putting on a brave face as she turned to look at Matt, who was sitting in her passenger seat.
"Sorry I couldn't drive. My Dad usually lends me the car." Matt explained as he looked over at the girl. Lottie smiled at him before looking down at her phone to see a text message from Stiles.
Batman: Dad lost his job... I'm officially the worst son ever...
Lottie quickly glanced back at Matt, offering him a non-committal reply, "No it's fine. I need to drive this thing every once in a while so the battery doesn't die." Matt chuckled, not caring that she was back to the phone.
Catwoman: We'll fix this, I promise. You're not the worst son ever, you're protecting him... see you soon
"You mean because Stiles drives you everywhere?" Matt asked.
"Yeah," She sighed and laughed, "Shall we go in then?" Climbing out of the car, she walked around to Matt, internally cringing when he held out his hand for her.
"Let's go!" He cheered as she reluctantly took his hand, dragging her to the entrance to the underground rave.
Lottie adjusted her mini-skirt as she clumsily followed after Matt who eagerly pulled her down the stairwell. Isaac spotted the two from his place in the crowd and a steely frown settled on his face, feeling protective of his best friend. Erica spotted the two and glanced up to Isaac, nudging him to continue. Isaac quickly sent a text to Scott asking why Lottie was with him before continuing on with his plan.
Lottie began to dance to the blaring house music, trying to act normal when she spotted Scott with a thunderous look on his face. "Matt, I'm just going to the little girls room. Bare with me." She excused as she made her way over to the werewolf. "Scotty? I don't think this is part of the plan."
"What are you doing here?" He asked.
"I told you I accidentally agreed to go on a date with Matt? He also literally spoke to me about the tickets in front of you earlier? What happened to that werewolf hearing?"
"Well, you can't be here. It's gonna mess up the plan! And-"
"Why is it gonna mess up the plan? Are you forgetting I'm not completely defenceless anymore?" Lottie sassed, smirking when Scott's face changed to one of realisation.
"Oh yeah. I forgot about that. Well I don't know what you're capable of anymore to be honest. But anyway, you- Allison?" Scott stopped.
"Scott? Lottie?"
"Okay you really shouldn't be here! We have a plan- this- oh my God, this is a nightmare." Scott groaned.
"You have a plan? But my father and Gerard--they're coming."
"Why are they coming?" Lottie asked at the same time Scott asked her what she'd told them.
"I had to tell them." Allison sighed, shrinking under Lottie's glare.
"You told them it was Jackson?! Oh Allycat I could wring your neck out right now. How fuckin-"
"I had to. People are dying."
"You were supposed to trust me." Scott scolded.
"I trust you more than anyone." Allison almost whimpered, clutching Scott's arm as Lottie rolled her eyes. She was furious. "What do you want me to do? I'll fix it. Scott, please, tell me." She begged.
"Stay out of the way." He told her as he grabbed Lottie's hand and began to tug her away.
"Scott-"
"Stay out of the way Allison." Lottie told the girl.
"Lottie, we need to adjust the plan. I can't- I can't think I-"
"Scotty. Deep breaths okay? Okay, right, let me think." Lottie tugged Scott into a dark corner, hugging him to help calm him. "Okay, find Isaac. He's here, get him to put the Ketamine in Jackson. You distract whichever Argent Asshole is here. And I can-"
"Keep Matt busy. If he has something to do with this then we need to keep an eye on him."
"Okay, but if you need help or Isaac needs help, call me. I'm not afraid to get involved. Don't leave me out of this."
With a quick goodbye and good luck to each other, they began their new plan. Lottie found Matt quickly enough and smiled as she saw the boy. "Matt! Sorry the queue was crazy! Are you having a good time?" She asked as she danced to the beat.
"Yeah, better now that you're here. Dancing by yourself is a bit embarrassing when you're sober." Matt joked as Lottie tried her best to keep her attention on him.
"You haven't got a drink yet? Come on, let's get some." Lottie grabbed his hand and took him to the bar, sending a nod to Isaac and Erica and when she saw them make their way over to Jackson. "What do you want to drink?" She asked Matt.
"Aren't I supposed to be asking you that?" Matt laughed. "I'll have a rum and coke please." He asked.
"Perfect. Hello! Hi! One rum and coke and a pornstar martini please!" She asked the bartender. As she waited she turned back to Matt, only to see him mumble under his breath and walk away. "Matt? Oh fuck it. He's defo a creep." She mumbled as she downed both the drinks, compelled the bartender to give them to her for free and began to look for Isaac and Erica. Looking around she saw no sign of the duo, so with a sigh she climbed on top of the bar.
"Hey, you can't be up there!" The bartender called up.
"You're going to stay quiet and let me do my thing. Okay?" Lottie compelled the bartender as she turned back to the crowd and began to sway her hips, looking out for Jackson, Issac or Erica.
A crowd began to form around the bar, only they weren't after drinks, they were after Lottie. She smiled and waved at the crowd of boys and girls as she twirled on the tabletops, forgetting for just a second what she was doing, until she latched her eyes onto Isaac who was holding a limp Jackson over on the opposite side of the room. She took a quick bow as the crowd around her began to complain as she got down before she sprinted after Isaac.
Lottie followed Isaac, along with Erica into a supply closet, holding her hands up in defence when both werewolves turned to her as she entered. "Just me guys. Figured I'd help out, Matt's gone awol." The werewolves sighed in relief until the door burst open again. This time it was someone that made Lottie grin from ear to ear. "Stiles!"
"Lottie? What are you-"
"The accidental date with Matt, remember?" She answered before he even finished his sentence. "Oh I'm so glad you're here- Actually no I'm not. Jackson is on one and you're very much human. Go, go." She swatted his hand away as he reached out to hold hers, grinning at the girl.
"Lotts? I'm fine." Stiles reassured, turning to Isaac. "Is he okay?" He asked, jutting his head towards Jackson, who was currently tied to a chair, knocked out from the ketamine.
"Let's find out." Isaac flashed his claws and swiped at Jackson, only to be stopped by Jackson grabbing Isaac's hand mid air.
"Let's not try anything like that again, okay?" Stiles chided as Jackson slowly released Isaac's hand.
Isaac took a step away and towards Erica, "I thought the Ketamine was supposed to put him out?"
"Apparently this is all we are gonna get. A lucid Jackanima." Lottie mused, looking at the group and shrugging when they all sent her bewildered looks. "What? Jackanima? I thought it was quite clever, personally." She sighed. "My brain is wasted on you people sometimes I swear."
"I think your brain is wonderful. But right now we need to wait and see if whoever is controlling him has come tonight." Stiles answered.
"I'm here." Jackson slurred out of the corner of his mouth, causing the group to turn to face him in apprehension. "Right here with you."
"Brilliant. Hello you cretin." Lottie sarcastically greeted.
"Jackson? Is that you?" Stiles asked, going closer to the seat Jackson was sitting in, ignoring Lottie's protests.
"Us. We're all here." Jackanima replied. Stiles turned to the trio behind him as they all looked at him bewildered, well, excluding Lottie who was looking like she wanted to punch Stiles for getting so close to a killing machine.
"Are you the one killing people?" Stiles asked, turning back to Jackanima.
"We're the ones killing murderers."
"So everyone you've killed so far–" Stiles started.
"Deserved it." Jackanima finished.
"Stiles, don't put your dumb head so close to him, you idiot!" Lottie scolded, only to be ignored.
"We have a little rule book that says that you only kill murderers. Ever break the rules?" Stiles pressed.
"Anything can break if enough pressure is applied." Jackson replied. Lottie felt her skirt buzzing and pulled out her phone.
"Matt? I can't hear you? I'll come and find you." She hung up and turned to her friends. "Look, I have to keep him distracted, I'm pretty sure he has something to do with this, you two," She turned to Isaac and Erica, "Keep him out of trouble, "She pointed at Stiles, "or I'll make your life hell. Maybe. Love you all, well not all of you, but still bye." She rambled, quickly kissing Stiles on the cheek and running off to find Matt.
Lottie scrambled out of the room and began her search coming up blank when she couldn't find the scrawny boy in the crowd, blinking quickly she tried to think of how to find him when she had a terrible idea. "Mayalila would kill me." She mumbled to herself before she began to lightly call out Matt's name. "Matt..." She almost sang his name, focusing on drawing the boy's attention, hoping her siren song would call out to him, "Matt, come to me..." She continued. Slowly but surely she found Matt elbowing his way through the crowd trying to get to her. Suddenly stopping her song as he approached her she smiled slyly as she saw his glazed eyes return to normal. "Matt, there you are!"
"Lottie! Where have you been?" He asked over the thumping music.
"Where have YOU been? You're the one that walked off. I had to down both our drinks." Lottie joked.
"Oh you had to, did you?" He laughed, standing too close to Lottie for her comfort. She inched away from him until he had her up against a wall. "You know something?"
"I know a lot of things. What you're thinking right now is a mystery to me though? A shame really, mind-reading would be awesome." Lottie rambled, twirling out from under him and standing with her back to the dancefloor.
"I think you're not having a good time." Matt replied, his grin dropping slightly.
"Matt, I've had a handful of drinks and danced on the table top. I'm having a great time. I think it's you that's not having a good time. So let me grab us some more drinks okay?" Lottie asked, smiling when she received a nod. "Wait here okay?" She left the boy alone and had every intention of getting the drinks when she stopped in her tracks. A howl filled her ears, deafeningly loud over the music. "Scott?" She muttered, before her feet led her to the owner of the howl, they knew the way, even if she didn't.
"Scott?" She called out as she entered a foggy room. "Scott, where are you?" She continued, only to be shoved into the wall by Victoria Argent.
"Now this is interesting. How did you know where he was? Not another mutt surely." Victoria spat at her. Lottie looked over to find Scott breathing weakly on the floor, looking up at Lottie scared.
"Scotty?" She asked, sending him an unspoken question. She grinned when she received a nod from the boy. Blinking slowly, she flashed her white eyes up at the older woman as her blue veins grew under her eyes and her claws and fangs grew. "No Victoria, I'm not a werewolf. I'm so much worse." She lunged.
Lottie swiped furiously at the redheaded woman who blanched in shock before taking out one of her knives while slashing at Lottie, catching her forearm sharply. Lottie let out a hiss before shaking it off and landing a solid punch on Victoria, hitting her sharply in the jaw, knocking her back as Lottie swiped at her stomach, cutting four deep slashes into the woman's flesh.
Victoria let out a cry before taking another swipe at Lottie, this time, cutting a seven inch cut from Lottie's collarbone down her right arm. Whilst she was distracted, Victoria sent a punch to Lottie, hitting her in the lip, splitting it open. Lottie let out a menacing hiss in pain, before she turned back to glare at Victoria, a new type of rage settling deep in her bones.

Meanwhile, whilst the fight was happening, Derek was outside with Stiles, Isaac and Erica. He frowned as he heard Scott's howl. "Scott."
"What?" Stiles asked.
"Stiles! Stiles, break the barrier!"
"Are you kidding? It's working. For the first time ever one of our plans is actually working!" Stiles asked, confused.
"Scott's dying, and-" Derek paused, hearing grunts in the distance. He then heard some particularly foul language, recognising the voice instantly, "-and Lottie's there. Break it now!" Derek demanded as Stiles' face suddenly lost all colour as he bent down and broke the ash barrier he'd worked so hard on creating. Stiles went to follow after Derek as he ran to Scott and Lottie, only to be held back by Isaac.
"Lottie would have my balls if anything happened to you. You are staying here." Isaac told him, looking almost as worried as Stiles did.
✧༺♥༻✧
Back in the supply room, Lottie was still fighting Victoria. She was winning and had only taken those two shots from the woman. She was in the middle of swinging and sending a lethal blow to Victoria when she heard Scott call out, distracting her.
"Allison..." Scott called out, as Victoria took her only chance and sliced deeply into Lottie's stomach. Lottie let out a gasp sharply, her eyes returning to normal as she stared at Scott, still too worried about him to acknowledge the fact she was seriously injured. She fell to the floor as Victoria smirked down at the girl, sending a brutal blow to the girl's temple with the handle of her knife, knocking her out instantly.
"Now, time to put you down." She mumbled, smirking at Scott.
Suddenly, the door burst open and Derek entered, wolfed out with his claws extended and his eyes glowing a furious red. He began to cough fiercely as the wolfsbane herb began to enter his system just as it had been entering Scott's, weakening him. Victoria took this opportunity to stab Derek in the back with the knife that was still coated in Lottie's blood.
Derek turned before she could strike again and in a blur the fight was over and Victoria was on the floor clutching her arm as Derek ran to Scott, sighing in relief when he began to stir. "You good?" Derek asked.
"Get Lottie." Scott grunted as he pulled himself up. Derek nodded and ran over to the girl, rolling her onto her back and gasping when he saw the blood. "Scott, she needs help. We need to go." Derek lifted Lottie up and carried her out of the room, periodically glancing back at Scott who hobbled behind him, clutching his side. Lottie began to stir in Derek's arms.
"Don't..." She panted. "Don't let...."
"Don't let what?" Derek asked.
"Don't let Stiles see her. Right, Lotts?" Scott finished for her, sighing when she nodded. "Derek, let me take her to Deaton's, you distract Stiles. Please. MY way, remember?"
"Scott, you can barely walk. I'll take her."
"No... I'm fine. Let me down. I can walk." Lottie tried, but Derek wasn't having any of it. Shaking his head, he stopped and looked down at the girl in his arms.
"Tiny, I know I'm not your favourite person and I know you're keeping something from me and it's pissing me off to no end, however, I care about you and I want you to get better, so let me take you to the hospital please." Derek practically pleaded with the girl. She glanced at Scott who shrugged and sighed, in over his head and exhausted.
"Fine. But let me do the talking when we get there okay? God knows I'm a better liar than you Toto." Lottie sighed sleepily, frowning when she saw Derek grinning down at her. "Why are you smiling like that? Have you got gas issues or something? 'Cos I'm not getting in a car with you if you're about to shit yourself."
"You called me Toto." Derek grinned.
"God, not only are you smiling but you're being sentimental. Scotty, save me, I'm wounded and being kidnapped by a madman." Lottie laughed lightly as Scott finally smiled, looking at his best friend with admiration.
"Love you Lotts."
"Love you Scotty. Text me later. Don't tell Stiles."
"Come on, Tiny. We gotta stop that bleeding." Derek smiled as he put her in the car.
"I'm still mad at you." Lottie pouted as he gently sat her in the passenger seat of his Camaro.
"I know." He frowned before shutting her door and making his way over to his side of the car.
"Like not one, but three of my classmates. You couldn't have picked I dunno, adults? Whose brains has fully developed or at least developed enough to truly understand the magnitude of the offer you gave them?" Lottie ranted sleepily.
"Tiny, I know. It was stupid but now I can't change it and I have to and am going to do everything I can to protect them. Including you." He said, looking over at the girl and smiling as he saw her fast asleep next to him. "That's my Tiny."

After a quick trip to the ER where Lottie compelled the nearest nurse to take her into an examination room for twenty minutes and then forget all about it, Lottie was applying a bandage to her now healed stomach and arm. She mumbled grumpily under her breath as she finished the bandage, she wanted her bed and she wanted her Stiles. Looking in the mirror she smiled faintly, admiring her work before making her way out to Derek who was waiting patiently, glaring at every person that looked at him.
"Come on Toto. I wanna go home." She grinned.
"You're okay?" He asked surprised.
"Of course. Not gonna let that bitch kill me. Did you get a good hit in?" Lottie asked, lifting her hands in the air and indicating she wanted to be carried. Derek sighed and lifted her in a bridal carry as he left the hospital.
"About that... I did something bad... Well it depends on what you define as bad..." Derek danced around the truth.
"What now Toto?" Lottie sighed.
"I bit her." Derek spoke out as silence filled the parking lot.
"You bit... Allison's mum... the woman who hates werewolves more than her husband who comes from a family of werewolf hunters? Am I understanding that right?" Lottie asked slowly.
"Yes. I bit her."
Lottie pondered the thought. "Well, I mean it's her choice. She can either live and be the thing she hates or die."
"She's not dying Tiny? Well the bite might kill her I guess." Derek sat her back in his car.
"Toto. She hates werewolves. Everything about them. You really think she'll let herself live long enough to see life through the transition?"
"Fuck..." Derek mumbled.
"I suppose in some ways it's one less problem for us to deal with?" Lottie shrugged. She looked over to see Derek with a concerned look on his face. "What? You didn't like her anyway. And she would've killed all three of us if she had the chance." She shrugged.
"You terrify me sometimes." Derek mumbled, driving the girl home.
"Oh you have no idea." Lottie grinned. "Oh wait, drive me back to the rave. My car is there... OH FUCK I FORGOT MATT!"
