'you might parkour with tweedledum and tweeldledee but with me we are taking the stairs.'

"Scott. What have I told you? You can't go around murdering people! Especially not girls you fancy. That's like rule number twelve." Lottie exclaimed, hitting Scott on the shoulder as he told his friends that he had a dream last night where he attacked Allison.
"How many rules are there?" Scott asked, confused.
"Irrelevant. So did you kill her?" Stiles asked, mimicking zipping his lips to Lottie.
"I don't know. I woke up. I was sweating like crazy and I couldn't breathe. I've never had a dream where I woke up like that." Scott explained as they walked towards the school.
"I have. But it usually ends a little differently." Stiles said with a smirk, throwing an arm around Lottie's shoulder as she grimaced.
"Don't put your arm around me whilst talking about your sex dreams Stiles." Lottie said, removing his arm from her.
"A: I mean I've never had a dream that felt that real. And B: never give me that much detail about you in bed ever again." Scott replied, laughing at Lottie's expression.
"Noted. But I'm going to take a guess here-" Stiles started only to be interrupted by Scott.
"I know. You think it has something to do with me going out with Allison tomorrow. Like I'm afraid I'm going to lose control and rip her throat out." Scott guessed as Stiles and Lottie glanced at each other, shaking their heads in disagreement.
"No, of course not." Stiles answered until Scott shot them both a look and then they started nodding their heads in time with one another. "Yeah, that's totally it. It's going to be okay. Personally, I think you're handling this pretty fucking amazingly. It's not like there's a Lycanthropy for Beginners Class you can take."
"Maybe there is a teacher though guys. He's about this tall, very broody, maybe a tad homicidal at the thought of us. Oh and handsome, very handsome." Lottie described Derek, raising a hand nearly a foot above her head as she showed his height.
"Who? Derek? You forgetting the part where we got him tossed in jail?" Stiles almost shouted.
"Stiles, she has a point. About the teacher thing. Not the handsome thing." Lottie rolled her eyes at his comment. "I know, but all of it, chasing her, dragging her back onto the bus, it felt so real."
"How real?" Stiles asked, not noticing Scotts horrified look.
"Like it actually happened." Scott answered as Stiles looked in the same direction and dropped his jaw.
To the far side of the parking lot the three saw their school bus surrounded by yellow crime tape and Sheriff Stilinski with other officers overseeing a Lab Tech who was investigating the back doors of the bus, which were hanging off their hinges. Then their eyes fell on pools and pools of blood.
"I hate to say it, but I think it did." Lottie whispered, clutching Stiles' arm tightly.
The three quickly made their way into the school hallways, Lottie tugging them to her sides as she linked arms with them both.
"She's probably fine-" Stiles reassured as Scott took his phone out and started rapidly texting Allison.
"She's not answering my texts." Scott panicked.
"Well it is like five minutes before class starts so she's probably running late or busy with Lydia." Lottie tried to help, trying to distract not only Scott but herself too. She joked with Scott a lot about homicide but she was certain he didn't do it, he couldn't have.
"You know, it could be a coincidence." Stiles said, pondering the thought. "A seriously amazing coincidence."
The three continue to both look around for Allison as Scott continued to blast her phone with messages. Gradually students started coming up to Scott congratulating him for his performance in the lacrosse game the other day, much to the surprise of Stiles who looked at Lottie like he'd entered an alternate reality.
"Are you seeing this?"
"Yeah, our little Scotty is famous." Lottie mused, clutching a hand to her chest, smiling until Scott barged past everyone and ran off, clearly overwhelmed by the noise and crowd, oh and the fact he might have murdered his crush. "So." Lottie said, dragging out the word.
"So." Stiles replied.
"Did you do the English homework?" Lottie asked.
"There was English homework?" Stiles groaned as Lottie laughed. "Surely classes will be cancelled, someone has been mauled out there."
"Attention, students. This is your Principal. I know you're all wondering about the vandalism that occurred to one of our buses last night. While the police work to determine what happened, classes will proceed as scheduled. Thank you." The hallways erupted in moans.
"You've got to be kidding me." Stiles complained, leaning his head on Lottie's shoulder.
"Come on Batman, we'll be the next murder victims if we're late to Harris' class."
✧༺♥༻✧
"Maybe it was my blood on the door?" Scott whispered quietly to his friends in their Chemistry class.
"Could be animal blood?" Stiles whispered back optimistically.
"Yeah, maybe you caught Thumper."
"And did what?" Scott retaliated.
"I don't know. Ate it."
"Raw?"
"No, you stopped to bake it in a little werewolf oven. How should I know? You're the one who can't remember anything." Stiles responded sarcastically, much to the dismay of Scott.
"Poor Thumper." Luna mumbled as Mr Harris interrupted their conversation to tell them off for talking during his lesson.
"Mr. Stilinski, if that's your idea of a hushed whisper you might want to pull the earphones out once in a while. I think you and Mr. McCall and Ms. Bailey would benefit from a little distance. Yes?"
"No!" All three of them shouted at once. But unfortunately, Mr Harris continued to separate them. Lottie ended up next to Danny so she wasn't too sad, she enjoyed Danny's company. Scott however, ended up next to Jackson and Stiles ended up next to Greenburg.
"Let me know if the separation anxiety gets to be too much."
"Actually Mr Harris, I am feeling a little nauseous and I-" Stiles started despite the warning looks Lottie sent him but Harley jumped up and pointed at the window, shouting that the officers had found something.
"They've found a body!"
"That's not Thumper." Lottie mumbled to Scott who looked petrified down at the body on the gurney. The whole class stood in silence watching the morbid scene unfold, in disbelief they were all witnessing what they thought was a dead body. Until the body lurched up and the class erupted into screams, Stiles grabbing Lottie and hiding his face behind her back.
"This is good. He's not dead. He got up. A dead guy can't do that." Stiles said from his hiding space behind Lottie's back.
"Guys, I did that." Scott muttered, horrified.
✧༺♥༻✧
Lunch trays in hand, Lottie, Stiles and Scott made their way to an open table in the outside seating area, still in shock over the events of the morning.
"Dreams aren't memories, Scott. They're supposed to be fun, you know?" Stiles started.
"What about your nightmare of the Ewoks eating you?" Lottie asked, raising an eyebrow, flinching when Stiles threw a chip at her.
"Then it wasn't a dream. Something happened last night. And I can't remember what."
"How are you so sure Derek has all the answers?" Stiles asked, not on board with going to the man for help.
"You mean aside from the fact he's clearly been a werewolf for a lot longer than any of us?" Lottie added, forever being the logic of the group.
"On the full moon he wasn't changed. He was in total control. And I'm running around in the night attacking some totally innocent guy."
"You don't know that."
"I don't not know it. I can't go out with Allison. I have to cancel." Scott said, starting to panic, thinking of all the possibilities of him wolfing out on Allison.
"No, you don't. You can't cancel your entire life. We'll figure this out." Stiles added, adamant that between him and Lottie they could figure it out and help Scott, together.
"Figure out what?" Lydia asked as she sat down on the other side of Stiles.
"What is happening?" Lottie also asked as their table began to fill up as Allison, Jackson, Danny and some other lacrosse members sat down with them. "Oh Allison happened. Well this should be interesting." She muttered as Stiles turned to Scott to question why Lydia was sitting next to him.
"So what are you figuring out? Lydia pressed.
"Homework, yeah homework." Scott answered.
"So they're saying it's an animal attack. Probably a cougar." Danny said, acting like he'd been in the middle of a conversation with them all about the situation.
"I heard mountain lion." Jackson added.
"A cougar is a mountain lion." Lottie and Lydia said at the same time, whilst the entire table turned to Lydia, surprised at the intellect from the supposedly dumb girl.
"Nice one Lydia." Lottie mused, smiling at the girl who smiled back briefly before playing dumb again.
"Isn't it? I mean that's what I heard."
"Who cares? The guy's probably some homeless tweaker who's gonna' die anyway." Jackson said indifferently.
"Your lack of care for human life is astounding Jackass." Lottie smiled sarcastically at the boy.
"Actually, I just found out who he is." Stiles interjected, turning his phone round and showing the live news report playing.
"-identified the victim of the possible animal attack as Garrison Meyers." The news reporter announced as Scott's face paled.
"I know that guy. I used to take the bus back when I lived at my Dad's place. He was the driver." He said looking down.
"Can we talk about something slightly more fun, please? Like where we're going tomorrow night?" Lydia asked, smiling at Allison, who along with Scott looked very confused. "You said you and Scott were hanging out tomorrow, right?" Stiles looked over at Scott, shaking his head frantically, this was a drama.
"We were thinking of.." Allison started, turning to Scott. "What were we going to do?"
"We hadn't decided." Scott hesitated, not eager to have his second chance at a first date, crowded by people he didn't consider a friend.
"Well, I'm not sitting at home watching lacrosse videos again. If the six of us are hanging out, let's pick something fun." Lydia suggested, causing the table to share looks with each other.
"The six of us?" Scott bit out.
"Yeah, Jackson and I, you and Allison and Stiles and Lottie."
"When the hell were you going to tell me about this?" Jackson spat out.
"You want to hang out? The six of us? You and me? And them?" Scott muttered to Allison.
"Hey! We are good company!" Lottie pouted as Stiles pointed between the two of them nodding in agreement.
"I know you two are, I wouldn't hang out with you so much if you weren't." Scott rolled his eyes as Allison chuckled.
"Sure. Sounds fun." Allison agreed, despite Stiles still shaking his head at Scott. Whilst he'd love to hang out with his friends but hanging around Jackson, an asshole and also the boy dating his crush, it just wasn't something he wanted to do.
"You know what else sounds fun? Stabbing myself in the face with this fork." Jackson said sourly.
"Ooo, here I have a knife, use that instead." Lottie handed Jackson her wooden fork, smiling evilly at the boy.
"Thank you, Lotso, much better." Jackson smirked at the girl.
"Oh, come on, Jackson. How about bowling? You love to bowl." Lydia pouted as Stiles and Lottie looked at each other grinning, both recalling how awful Scott was at bowling.
"Yeah, with actual competition."
"How do you know we're not competition?" Allison asked, turning to Scott who quickly smiled at her. "You can bowl right?"
"Sort of-"
"Sort of? Or yes?" Jackson said to Scott.
"Yes actually. In fact-" Scott replied as Stiles buried his face into Lottie's shoulder, hiding from what was going to be a blatant lie on Scott's part. "-I'm a great bowler."
"Oh dear god."
✧༺♥༻✧
Lottie laughed as Scott slammed his head into his locker repeatedly as the consequences of his actions began to sink in.
"You suck at bowling!" Stiles so helpfully pointed out.
"I know! I'm such an idiot."
"Well, I could have told you that." Lottie chuckled.
"It was like watching a car wreck. First it turns into a group date - side note, why did me and Lottie get an invite? Not complaining, I get to see this car-wreck's conclusion. Then out of nowhere comes that phrase-"
"Hanging out." Scott grimaced.
"You don't hang out with a hot girl. It's death. Once it's hanging out, you might as well be her gay best friend. You and Danny can start hanging out."
"Are you coming out Stiles?" Lottie asked, quirking an eyebrow.
"No? I don't- I don't think so. Why?"
"Well you hang out with me basically everyday?" Lottie teased.
"Oh. I didn't even think of that. You're an exception." Stiles poorly explained.
"How's that?"
"Because you're - look we are getting off track, Lottie you're hot and you know it, Scott you're friend-zoned and I am now questioning my sexuality. Oh my God do I like guys?" Stiles started spiralling, getting even more off topic.
"How is this happening? I either nearly killed a bus driver. Or I didn't." Scott changed the topic but Stiles was too distracted to help.
"I don't think Danny likes me."
"I ask Allison on a date. But now we're hanging out."
"Am I not attractive to gay guys?" Stiles asked, turning to Lottie who was trying not to laugh in his face.
"No you're very attractive, I'm sure there is a guy or girl out there for you." She reassured, laughing at him still.
"You- you think, I- is it hot in here?" Stiles stuttered, not expecting his best friend to think of him in such a way.
"I made first line. But the team captain wants to destroy me. And now? Now I'm going to be late for work." Scott complained, leaving a laughing Lottie and a stuttering Stiles in his dust.
✧༺♥༻✧
"You went to see Marley without me?" Lottie complained as she climbed into the Jeep, abandoning a greeting to Scott and Stiles.
"Marley?" Scott asked, confused.
"Derek? You know, Marley and Me? The dog?" She explained.
"Do you just have an endless supply of dog names?" Stiles questioned, turning to look back at her as he started driving.
"Eyes on the road. And yes. Yes I do."
"So what did he teach you? How to roll over? Beg? Give him your paw?" Stiles gave his attention back to Scott who did not find his questions funny in the slightest, Lottie however grinned cheesily. "Did he tell you how to remember? And you think we can trust him?" Stiles asked as Scott nodded to the first question and Scott and Lottie nodded at the second. "So let's do it."
"But what if I remember that I actually did attack him? And what if he dies?" Scott panicked, turning to Lottie frantically.
"You wont and he won't. I promise. It's okay." She reassured.
"What if I go to sleep some night and it's you two I end up going after? How are you going to feel if I kill you?"
"I'd prefer not to feel anything. I have a very low tolerance for pain." Stiles replied with a weak smile.
"And I'd be dead so I wouldn't feel anything. Unless ghosts are real. Then I'll just come back and keep you both company."
"You're not a killer. But you are a douche for making me sit in the car." Stiles finished, not happy that he and Lottie were on lookout duty.
"Just me. Someone needs to keep watch." Scott said, climbing the fence once they'd parked at the school.
"How come I'm always the guy keeping watch?"
"Because I'm the one with heightened senses. No offence but I can't see either of you climbing over fences and the rest of it." Scott continued as he landed.
"I'm literally on the gymnastics team. I pole vault everyday." Lottie deadpanned, not believing his excuse but not bothered either, she'd rather stay safe in the car.
"Why's it starting to feel like your Batman and I'm Robin? I don't want to be Robin all the time." Stiles complained.
"Nobody's Batman or Robin any of the time." Scott started to walk away.
"Not even some of the time?" Stiles pouted.
"Just stay here."
"Lottie I-"
"You're Batman, Stiles. You're Batman, Scott can be Robin and I'll be," She paused tapping a finger to her lip, "Catwoman?" She finished.
"Really? I can work with that. You have to convince Scott that I'm Batman okay? If he's the werewolf, I'm the Batman." He said, putting on his best Batman impression, making Lottie chuckle.
"When we get a break from the supernatural shit, the three of us are having a movie day. We haven't had one in so long."
"Abso-"
Stiles was cut off by Lottie reaching over to his side of the car and slamming the horn, spotting a security guard making his way to the bus Scott was currently on. Just as quickly, Scott ran at the fence, crouching down before jumping and leapt over it swiftly, ripping open the passenger door and sitting on top of Lottie.
"Go! Go!" He shouted at Stiles, who reversed the jeep and floored it out of there.
"Did it work? You remember?" Lottie asked, muffled by the fabric of Scott's shirt as he continued to sit on her lap.
"I was there last night. And the blood--a lot of it was mine." Scott explained adjusting so his back was against the window and Lottie could speak freely.
"So you did attack him?" Stiles questioned.
"No. I saw glowing eyes on the bus. But they weren't mine. It was Derek."
"Are you sure? I'm still not convinced." Lottie just had a feeling Derek wasn't involved, he'd already denied wanting to hurt Scott, but that was before they reported him for murder so her faith was declining slowly.
"What about the driver? " Stiles ignored her question.
"I think I was actually trying to protect him from Derek."
"Wait. This further proves my point. Why would big bad bone boy want to help you remember you protecting the driver from him? That literally incriminates himself?" Lottie asked.
"It's got to be a pack thing. Like an initiation thing." Stiles decided.
"Because ripping someone's throat out is a real bonding experience." Scott muttered sarcastically, making Lottie snort.
"But you didn't do it. Which means you're not a killer. And it also means-"
"I can go out with Allison." Scott smiled happily.
"I was going to say it means you won't kill us." Stiles deadpanned.
"Oh yeah. That too."
"I dunno, I think I'm more excited about the fact he's actually going on a date then him not killing us. Miracles really do happen, eh?" Lottie laughed as Scott nudged her in the ribs with a smile.
✧༺♥༻✧
Lottie wasn't quite sure how she'd ended up in Allison's bedroom and sat on her bed next to Lydia Martin of all people, yet here she was, helping Allison pick out a shirt for her date with Scott.
"Pass." Lydia said as Allison held up a sweater. Allison proceeded to show her a few more options, none of which were up to Lydia's standards whatsoever. "Pass, pass, pass on all of it. God, Allison. Respect for your taste? Dwindling by the second." Tired of all the waiting around, Lottie stood up and went to Allison's wardrobe and reached into the back, pulling out a black top. "See, now she has taste." Lydia smirked, pointing in Lottie's direction.
The girls continued getting ready, chatting mindlessly when the door burst open and someone who Lottie presumed was Allison's dad and Scott's new best friend.
"Dad, hello?" Allison said, unimpressed at her dad's lack of etiquette.
"Right. Sorry, completely forgot to knock."
"Hi Mr Argent." Lydia and Lottie greeted in sync, Lottie laughing as she saw Lydia strike a pose on Allison's bed.
"Dad this is Lottie, she's a friend from school."
"Nice to meet you, Lottie."
"Likewise."
"Dad? Need something?"
"Just wanted to tell you that you'll be staying in tonight." He informed her bluntly to the girls surprise.
"What? I'm going out with my friends tonight."
"Not when some animal out there is attacking people." He said, very matter of factly. "It's out of my hands. There's a curfew. No one's allowed out past ten P.M."
"You're going out." Allison pointed at his jacket with her other hand on her hip, Lottie had to give her credit, she wasn't backing down.
"I'm over eighteen. No more arguing." He finished, walking out shutting the door.
"Aren't we Daddy's Little Girl?" Lydia mused as she eyed Allison up and down.
"Sometimes. Not tonight." Allison smirked as she opened her window and climbed down her roof, stopping before she fell and launched herself. She caught a nearby tree branch and then released herself, doing a backflip right onto the lawn below. Sticking the landing she grinned up at her friends who were standing at her window. "Eight years of gymnastics, emphasis in uneven bars. You coming?" She asked.
"I'll take the stairs." Lydia answered, going to link arms with Lottie who she'd decided was fun enough and more importantly, hot enough to be her friend.
"I wanna try." Lottie whined, pointing back to the window.
"Nope, you might parkour with Tweedledum and Tweeldledee but with me we are taking the stairs." Lydia informed her, pulling her away from the open window.
"No fun." Lottie mumbled as Lydia smiled in her direction and led her outside, meeting Allison who was hiding behind a tree. "Alright girls, let's go get your mans." She perked up, excited to go bowling, even if she was fifth and six wheeling. At least she was with her best friends.
"So how long have you and Stiles been together?" Lydia asked.
"Me and- Stiles and- We aren't- No we're not-" Lottie stuttered.
"Don't have an aneurysm, it was just a question. I just assumed. You're always touching in some way shape or form." Lydia rolled her eyes.
"Well I've known him since I was like three, same with Scott, I just like linking arms with them, partly because they're my best friends, partly because if I don't they'll run off and I'll get lost." Lottie grinned.
"So now the two of you are fifth slash sixth-wheeling? Won't that be awkward?" Allison asked.
"What, getting to witness the other gate-crashers of your date with Scott? Absolutely not. I actually have popcorn in my bag. Stiles loves bowling so I'm just planning on letting him have my turn whilst I sit back and watch." Lottie laughed at the stunned faces of Allison and Lottie.
"I am not gate-crashing." Lydia said firmly.
"Well you certainly invited yourself." Lottie chuckled.
"I am not a gate-crasher." Lydia mumbled as Lottie and Allison glanced at each before bursting into giggles.
✧༺♥༻✧
"So how long till Scott embarasses himself?" Lottie asked as she got herself comfortable on top of the ball dispenser, it wasn't the most orthodox of places to sit, but it meant she could talk to whoever was bowling and stay in the loop. Plus it seemed like the best place to witness the inevitable pissing contest Scott and Jackson were going to have.
"Five minutes, maybe ten?" Stiles chuckled as he tried to carry two bowling balls at once, promptly dropping one. "Ah!" He shouted out, the ball having narrowly missed his foot.
"Watch it butterfingers." Jackson mumbled as he walked past Stiles to help Lydia bowl.
"Hey Jackass, your laces are undone." Lottie called out, causing the boy to do exactly as she planned and trip up. Laughing she fist-bumped Stiles.
"Lotso, that wasn't very nice." Jackson grinned.
"I'm not exactly known for that though, am I?"
Allison stepped up next and expertly got a strike on her first go causing Scott's face to drop briefly, smiling again when she turned to face him. Lottie and Stiles smirked at each other, ignoring Jackson getting his strike.
"You're up McCall." Jackson said menacingly.
"You can do this Scott." Allison encouraged.
"Yeah Scott, you've got it." Lottie teased, munching on her popcorn, stuffing her face and reaching up to stuff Stiles' face too when Scott sent the ball straight to the gutter.
"Jackson, would you stop?" Allison fumed as he laughed maniacally.
"Sorry, I'm just flashing back to the words 'I'm a great bowler.'"
"Maybe he just needs to warm up."
"Maybe he needs the kiddie bumpers."
"Hey! There is nothing wrong with the kiddie bumpers." Lottie defends, brushing off the popcorn remnants.
"Come on, McCall. Lydia at least knocked a few pins in. You want me to come up and guide you too." Jackson taunted.
"Don't be mean, Jackson." Lydia sighed.
"Just aim for the middle." Allison tried to help as Scott started to get frustrated.
"Or you know, just any of the balls?" Jackson continued to tease.
"Come on, Scott, just use those canine senses of yours." Stiles cheered, coming up and tapping him on the back, pushing him a bit too hard as the ball dropped out of Scott's unsuspecting hands. The ball then proceeded to go straight into the gutter again, much to Scott's disappointment. "What happened to your senses, Scott? Why'd you drop it?" Stiles asked as Lottie held her stomach from laughing.
"Stiles? Shut up." Scott fumed as he made his way back to his seat, sighing in defeat.
"Right Batman, your go. Show 'em how it's done." Lottie cheered as he picked up a few balls and tested their weights.
"This is the one. Good luck kiss?" He asked, shoving the bowling ball in her face.
"Do you know how many germs are on that bad boy? Nope absolutely not. Come here." She said, pulling him down to her height, kissing his cheek softly. "Beat Jackson. Above all else, beat Jackson." She whispered in his ear. He nodded, swallowing loudly.
Stepping up to the alley Stiles took a deep breath and despite Lottie's warning about the germs he placed a quick peck on the bowling ball, before getting into his bowling stance. He took a few steps and threw the ball, watching it sail straight towards the pins as he knocked them all down, one by one. Jumping in the air he threw his arms about crazily as he got a strike. Lottie jumped up too, throwing her popcorn everywhere as she cheered him on.
"Go Batman!"
"Lydia." Allison whispered. "Twenty bucks that they'll get married one day?"
"You're on."
After a few rounds later, Scott had managed to get six strikes in a row after Allison gave him a hand, much to the displeasure of Jackson and to Lydia's new found interest.
"Something just clicked, I guess." Scott explained sheepishly.
"Maybe it's natural talent." Allison smiled as Lottie and Stiles pretended to gag at each other.
"I could use a little natural talent. You mind helping me out this time, Scott?" Lydia flirted, not all that subtly, much to the disappointment of the entire group for varying reasons.
"No, you're good. Go for it." Scott replied, smiling when Lottie gave him a thumbs up at him shutting her down.
"I'll help-" Jackson started, only to be cut off by Lydia.
"How about I try one on my own." Lydia aimed and threw the ball, nailing every single ball. A perfect strike. Lottie stared at her, a curious look on her face. Things didn't add up about Lydia. "I think I'm getting the hang of it."
"Just a tad." Lottie agreed, watching Stiles get a spare, still just as excited as when he got a strike, it also helped that he was just beating Jackson too.
The game ended not long after that, Lottie with a belly full of popcorn, Scott crowned the winner and Jackson being the sore loser. Oh and Stiles wearing all the tickets he won from the arcade round his neck like a necklace, tripping over the ones dangling on the floor.
"I reckon, with these tickets as well as the ones I have at home, I could get the sheriff's badge now." Stiles explained as Lottie climbed into his Jeep, he was giving her a lift home so that Scott could drive Allison home alone.
"I mean it beats stealing your dads again." Lottie laughed, remembering an eight year old Stiles stole his dad's badge and pretended to arrest Lottie and Scott on suspicion of leaving him out. They've never let him forget it.
"Maybe it'd make sneaking into the station easier." Stiles thought aloud.
"Yes, a plastic sheriff's badge will definitely hold up in there."
✧༺♥༻✧
Lottie had been home all of thirty minutes and had already managed to take her makeup off and get into her pyjamas, eager to get to bed. Lifting back the covers she climbed in, only to hear a tap on her window. She groaned loudly, putting her pillow over her head, already knowing it was Stiles. Since she lived in a bungalow he'd been reaching up to her window ever since he started coming over, freaking her out to no end.
Pulling open her curtains and opening the window forcefully, she almost took Stiles' head off when she spoke.
"What could you possibly want? I saw you- like-like thirty minutes ago Stiles." Lottie fumed, trying to be quiet as her dad was home for once.
"We need to go to Scott's- like right now- right now!" He said, pulling her arm so she almost fell out the window.
"Quit it. I'm coming, let me get some shoes or something."
"No time. Let's go." Stiles continued, pulling her out the window and putting her on his back clumsily, carrying her to his car.
"This best be good Stiles."
The drive went quickly as Stiles hit the gas, not answering any of Lottie's questions much to her annoyance. Parking outside Scott's house the two stand below his window.
"I'm not climbing up his wall. Don't even think about-" Cutting herself off with a squeal, Stiles had bent down and stuck his head between her thighs, effectively making her sit on his shoulders. "I'm going to kill you." She said as he stood and she grabbed onto his head. Wobbling slightly, Stiles steadied himself, ignoring Lottie's empty threats walking closer to Scott's window sill. Leaning up, Lottie grabbed the window sill and pulled herself up, standing on his shoulders. "I can't believe this is my life." Lottie mumbled as she pulled herself into Scott's room. She sat on Scott's bed whilst she waited for Stiles to inevitably dramatically fall and join her.
As Stiles fell into Scott's room Melissa bursts in with a baseball bat, swinging at him, causing Lottie and Stiles to shout in horror.
"Stiles, what the hell are you doing?" Melissa shouted.
"What am I doing? Do either of you even play baseball?" Stiles retorted as Scott walked in and turned the light on revealing Lottie still sat on his bed.
"Hi Ms. McCall." She waved as Melissa smiled and let out a sigh.
"Can you please tell your friends to use the front door?"
"But we lock the front door. They wouldn't be able to get in."
"Exactly. No offence Lottie, you're excused. And, by the way, do any of you care that there's a police-enforced curfew?" Melissa replied.
"Nope." The trio replied in unison, grinning at each other.
"Okay then. That's about all the parenting I can take for one night. I'm going to sleep." Melissa said, walking out shaking her head.
"I love your mum." Lottie smiled as she laid back on Scott's bed making the boy smile until he caught the serious look on Stiles face.
"What's up with him?" He asked Lottie.
"Not a clue. Dragged me here, barefoot might I add. Said he had to tell us something important. " Lottie sighed as they turned to look at Stiles.
"My Dad left for the hospital fifteen minutes ago. The Bus Driver. They said he succumbed to his wounds."
"Succumbed?" Scott asked.
"Scott... he's dead." Stiles explained.
"Oh shit." Lottie mumbled.
