Chapter Twelve:
Training

After my movie night which we don't actually watch any movies, I was woken up by soft lips placed on mine. I smile opening my eyes.

"Morning Annie," Emmett told me and I smile at him kissing his lips once more.

"Morning Em," I tell him and he smiles at me as Rosalie leans over and kisses my lips softly. As we were kissing my phone started going crazy.

I sigh smiling at Rose as I picked it up and see the name Cowboy🤠💛. I shake my head as I answer the phone.

"Yes, Major?" I asked him making him sigh at my new nickname.

"Can we go back to Cowboy?" He asked me and I laugh sitting up forgetting I was naked due to that I don't see how Rosalie and Emmet's eyes immediately flew to my chest.

"What is it, Cowboy?" I asked him with a laugh.
"Oh, right I'm calling to see where you three are. It's time for training," Jasper told me and I looked at my mates whose eyes were getting darker by the second.

"Give us about an hour," I told him as I hung up and the second I did I felt two pairs of lips on me.

"We only have an hour," I told them through my moans.

"Then we have plenty of time," Emmett said with a smirk as he wrapped his arm around my waist. I laughed at him as I completely lost myself in both of my mates.

We then got to the field after our extracurricular activities. I made sure I was in warm clothes but comfy as I cuddled closer to Rosalie as Emmett and Jasper practiced.

Suddenly Emmett was flung in the air. He lands hard on his back but immediately springs up to face Jasper, the person who threw him.

"Again," Emmett said as I laugh at the two. As I was laughing with now Alice with Emmett and Jasper sending us disappointed looks Edwards car skids to a halt next to Jasper's Jeep. Edward and Bella climb out, head into the field together. Halfway across, Edward stops.

"They're here," Edward says as we turn to the treelike and see eight giant wolves wary and on-edge as the Cullens were. I smile at them as Emmett recognizes Paul's wolf. Their eyes meet, both itching for a rematch. I slap Emmett's chest making him sigh and wrap his arms around my waist as I lean into him the wolves watching us.

"They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms," Edward says and I look towards him.

"Well they trust me," I told him with a smirk and he shakes his head as Carlisle starts talking.

"They came. That's what matters," Carlisle says being the peacemaker he is.

"Will you translate?" Carlisle asks Edward who nods. Carlisle moves slowly towards their pack. Sams wolf steps forward.

"Welcome. Jasper has experience with newborns. He'll teach us how to defeat them," Carlisle says in his usually calming voice as I make funny faces at Seth's wolf.

"They want to know how the 'newborns' differ from us. And Sam says for Ana to stop making faces at Seth's wolf," Edward says making me pout and glare at Sam's wolf.

"They're a great deal stronger than us because their own human blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful... ... than in our first several months of this life," Carlisle says as the pack takes this in. Carlisle nods to Jasper to take over.

Jasper is initially uncomfortable with both the wolves and the attention. But I sent him a reassuring smile as he steps forward.

"Carlisle's right. That's why they are created. A newborn army doesn't need thousands like a human army. And no human army could stand against them. The two most important things to remember are, first... Never let them get their arms around you. They'll crush you instantly. The second... Never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that. And you will lose. Emmett?" Jasper says as Emmett smirks and kisses mine and Rosalie's cheek as he starts heading to the field.

"Don't hold back," Jasper says as they both get ready to fight.

"He is going to lose," I whispered to Rosalie as she wraps her arm around my waist.

"Oh definitely," Rosalie told me with a smirk as we watch the fight.

"Not in my nature," Emmett says as he charges at Jasper with impossible speed, but Jasper is a blur. Emmett lunges several times, his strong arms grabbing at air. Jasper stops long enough to speak.

"Never lose focus. One more thing... Never turn your back on your enemy," Jasper says as Emmett lunges again with similar results until suddenly he freezes.

Jasper has him from behind, his teeth an inch from Emmett's throat. The wolves let out an impression rumple as I try my hardest not to laugh at Emmett's defeated look. I lean my head in Rosalie's neck to stop my laugh.

Next are Alice and Jasper. There was a lot of spiraling and twisting. Jasper launches at her but with her eyes glazing over, not looking at him, she sees his moves before he makes them. Alice then disappears and jumps from a tree onto Jaspers back and kisses his neck.

"Gotchya," Alice says with a smile making Jasper smile at her.

"They are so adorable," I tell Emmett and he laughs at me kissing my neck softly.

"You are even more adorable. Especially this morning," Emmett told me making me blush and Edward to look beyond disgusted.

Next are Edward and Carlisle. They attack one another, but Edward can read Carlisle's mind which gives him the advantage. He twirls beyond Carlisle's grasp, then slams into him delivering a vicious body blow. Making me winch.

"Focus on speed, agility, keep your opponent off guard. Use their momentum against them," Jasper says as the
wolves rise or pace, watching intently, itching to get into the fight but holding back.

As Edward gets up and starts to walk away Jasper starts to smirk.

"One more thing never turn your back on your enemy," Jasper says in a snarky attitude making me laugh as Carlisle attacks Emmett.

"I love sassy Jazzy," I tell Alice making her laugh at me nodding.

"Alright one more fight and we are done," Jasper says making everyone look confused as everyone has already fought. Jasper then turns looking directly at me.

"Ana," Jasper calls making me smirk as I start walking to him.

"Uhm no. Yeah definitely no," Emmett says shaking his head trying to stop me but Jasper stops him.

"Do you really think we only watch Disney movies on Saturdays?" Jasper asks as he leads me to the middle of the field everyone tenses looking worried.

"Ready?" Jasper asks me and I smile at him nodding.
"Oh definitely," I tell him and he nods at me.

He goes to take a swing at me but I grab his hand and flip him over with my legs over his head. Everyone looks wide-eyed at us as Jasper smirks and uses his vampire sped to get up.

He then starts heading to me about to hit me but I raise my arms in a cross stopping his attack.

I smirk at him as he tries to hit me again but I grab his arm flipping him again and then flip leading on his chest with my hands wrapped around his throat.

"And you're dead," I told him and he laughs at me with a proud smile.

I then get up and offer him a hand. He smiles using it to get up and we turn to see the Cullens, Bella, and the wolves wide-eyed.

"How?" Carlisle asks and Jasper and I share a look before smiling at him.

"Jasper might have been teaching me a few things," I tell them, and everyone nods but still look awe stuck.

As I was talking with Alice I saw her expression turn upset but a smile as she starts walking over to Bella and Jasper. I look at her confused before following her.

"I thought what Maria and I had was love. But I was her puppet. She pulled the strings. I didn't know there was another way... Until I found Alice. Now she'd seen me coming, of course," Jasper says with tears in his eyes and a soft smile.

I smile figuring out what he was talking about. When he told me I almost went out to look for her just to kill her but Jasper stopped me.

"Kept me waiting long enough," Alice says with a smile making Jasper laugh as he shakes his head.

"My apologies, Ma'am. I don't know what I'd have become without her," Jasper says with a soft smile as wraps her arms around Jasper from behind him.

"You'll never have to be that again," Alice says as she tries to kiss the ghosts away. I smile at them awing.

"Aww you guys are so adorable," I say making Jasper laugh at me.

"I also don't know what I would become without you Moony," Jasper tells me making me smile.

"Sam here Cowboy. Also, I still have my offer of going to find the bitch and killing her," I tell him making him laugh as he wraps an arm over both me and Alice.

"I second that. We can be killing buddies," Alice tells me with an excited smile and I laugh high-fiving her. As Jasper shakes his head at us wondering how he had these girls as his mate and best friend.

"How did I get stuck with you two?" Jasper asked shaking his head. Alice and I huff at him.

"Rude," we tell him trying to walk away from him but he stops us.

"I'm sorry," he tells us with a smile and we laugh at him as we lock arms again.

"Alright but you are still an idiot though," I tell him making Alice laugh and Jasper shakes his head as we continue walking.
