Driving Lessons

The next morning I woke up to multiple texts. I smiled softly reading each one of them.

I finally got up and started getting dressed. After curling my hair and finding an outfit I went downstairs to fix my smoothie and iced coffee.

Just as I finished my fixing my smoothie I heard someone knocking on the door. I was about to get it but dad get it before me.

"Rosalie. Emmett. She's almost done come on in," he told the two opening the door for them. I smiled at them grabbing my bag and both cups.

"Alright, dad I'm leaving. I love you," I told him kissing his cheek and he smiled at me.
"Love you munchkin. Be careful and call me if you need me," he told me and I nodded at him.

"We will take care of her Chief Swan," Emmett told him and he nodded at him.

"I know you will. Because if you don't well I know how to use a gun," he told Emmett and I had to bite back a laugh.

"Yes sir,"  Emmett told him as Rosalie and I left the room trying not to laugh. Getting out the door we turned to each other and busted out laughing holding each other so we wouldn't fall over.

"Seriously?! Why didn't you two defend me?" Emmett asked us pouting. I laughed at him walking toward the car.

"No, you are driving today Annie. You need driving practice," Emmett told me and I looked at him wide-eyed.

"Yeah no. Do you two want to die?" I asked them with wide eyes and they laughed at me.

"It will be fine. We will be right there if you need help," Rosalie told me and I nodded getting in the passenger seat and fixing the seat and mirrors.

5 Minutes Later

"No Anastasia that is a tree!"
"Annie! Turn the wheel!"
"Stop yelling at me! You are making me nervous!"

That's what everyone heard as the three pulled into the parking lot. Jasper and Alice had an amused look on their face as Anastasia jumped out of the car not putting it in park.

"Ana! The break!" Emmett yelled at her as she glared at him.

"If you yell at me one more time I am going to kick you in the balls!" I yelled back at him as I walked over towards Jasper and Alice.

"You okay their Ana?" Jasper asked me with an amused look. I glared at him.

"I now see why you wanted to murder your sibling this morning. If you need help I will help you hide the bodies and give you the alibi. They will always believe the chiefs daughter," I told him and he laughed at me.

"I will remember that," Jasper told me and I smiled at him turning to Alice.

"Hello to my favorite Cullen," I told her and she laughed at me as we heard Emmett screaming hey.

"Hello to my favorite Swan," she told me bringing me into a hug. I laughed at her response but beige I could say anything I felt a pair of arms wrapped around me.

"Oh my goodness! Ana! Are you okay? I know I asked you yesterday but you could have been in shock or-" Jessica said before I interrupted her.

"Yes, I am fine. I promise," I told her and she nodded smiling at me.

"Good!" She told me kissing my cheek before walking away.

"Love you, Ana!" Jess yelled as she walked away I laughed at her.

"Love you more Jess," I yelled after her.

"Okay students need permission slips. It is time to go," Mr.Molina said as students started lining up. I smiled at Jasper and Alice bringing each into a hug. I wasn't in biology since I took it before I left Phoenix so I couldn't go.

Emmett and Rosalie tensed when Ana hugged Jasper but relaxed when they saw Jasper calm which was very surprising. Jasper was also surprised, this was the first time she had hugged him and he breathed in her scent but it didn't bother him. It must have been a third-mate thing. Since the bond was so delicate that it made the third mates' blood not appetizing.

"I'll see you both soon. Please behave," I told them and they smiled at me.

"You too," Jasper told me and I faked offense to that.
"I am good," I told him and he smiled at walking away with Alice who smiled.

I turned to Rosalie and Emmett with a small pout.
"What wrong Annie?" Emmett asked and I turned on the puppy dog eyes.

"Can we skip school please?" I asked them and they both shared a look by nodding.

"Yes! Let's go," I told them heading to the seat behind the drivers.

"No! You are not driving!" Emmett yelled as I glared at him.

"I was heading towards the seat behind the driver. Also, I warned you but no you couldn't listen," I told him and he shakes his head at me getting in the driver's seat.

On the way where we were going was peaceful. With the rain following and the radio playing softly, I was about to fall asleep. Okay, lie I did fall asleep.

I woke up on something that resembled a cloud. I looked confused before realizing it was a bed. I looked around seeing a picture of Rosalie and Emmett on the bedside table and realized this must of been their room.

I got out of bed and started walking downstairs going towards the sound of Emmett screaming at something and Rosalie shushing him.

Rounding the corner I saw Emmett yelling at a video game as Rosalie had an annoyed face and was telling him to shut up. I laughed quietly at them not noticing someone beside me.

"It's nice to see you again Anastasia," I heard someone say and I jumped turning around to see Esme with an amused expression.

"Sorry for scaring you sweetie," Esme told me and I just smiled at her.

"It's fine Esme and it's good to see you too. I was just telling Carlisle that I needed to come by soon to drop off some flowers for you," I told her hugging her softly. I always loved her hugs it felt so comforting and safe like a mother's.

"He told me and I can not wait for them," she told with a kind smile.

"Ana you're awake. Did Emmett wake you up?" Rosalie asked me glaring at Emmett. I laughed at that shaking my head.

"No I was already awake," I told her walking to sit beside her. She smiled at me as Emmett moved to sit beside me.

"Annie there a reason we brought you here. We need to tell you something and we hope you don't see us differently because of it," Emmett said with a serious face for the first time since I met him.

I nodded at him with a soft reassuring smile.
"I promise," I told him and he sighed looking toward Rosalie.

"Ana our family we are vampires," Rosalie told me as she and Emmett looked down and I nodded at her.

"Okay. Is that is?" I asked and both of them jerked their heads up.

"Wait what?" Emmett asked me as both he and Rosalie looked beyond confused.

"Yeah, I already knew that," I told them waving them off like it was no big deal.

"What?" Emmett asked me with wide eyes.
"How?" Rosalie asked me and I smile at her.

"Well growing up I spent a lot of time at my Uncle Billy's and his wife Sarah told me legends about the cold ones. I didn't know for sure until Emmett and Edward saved me and Bella," I told them and they laughed at me.

"Of course you already knew," Emmett told me as he brought me into a side hug. I laughed at him hugging him back.

"There's also something else we need to tell you," Rose told me and I nodded at her.

"Vampires have these things called mates. Mates are sacred and every vampire has one but we also have this rare thing where there is a third mate. The third mate is the most important because they are the one that ties them all together," Rosalie told me and I nodded at her not following.

"Okay?" I ask her whether then say. Emmett shook his head at me laughing at me.

"What?" I asked him and he just shook his head at me.
"Annie you are our third mate you dummy," Emmett told me.

"Oh," I told them looking wide-eyed.

"Okay," I told them nodding my head and standing up.
"Esme do you have any cookies?" I asked her and she smiled at me.

"I made some just for you when you got here. Come on they should be ready now," Esme told me leading me towards the kitchen. Making a big smile appear
on my face.

"Have I told you how much I love you?" I asked her and she laughed at me.

"Yes you have many many times," she told me and I laughed at her leaning into her as she wrapped a motherly arm around me.

"What just happened?" Emmett asked his wife who looked confused too.

"I don't know, but I think she accepted us and the mate bond," Rosalie told him.

"Cool," Emmett told her with a smile before going back to his game. Rosalie laughed at him as she started reading her magazine again.

When Ana came back into the room she went and sat right beside Rosalie as they discuss different outfits in the magazine.

"You are a cheater!" Emmett yelled and that was what Alice and Jasper heard as they came into the house. They both looked at each other confused before walking toward Emmetts voice.

"I did not cheat! I am just better than you at the game," Ana huffed for the hundredth time in the last five minutes.

"What is going on?" Jasper asked with an amused look.

"Jasper thank goodness you are here! Please tell your brother I did not cheat! Also, how did you cheat playing a video game?" Ana asked him and he laughed at her.

Jasper walked over to her wrapping a brotherly arm around her shoulders making he left lean into him.

"Let me guess Emmett lost didn't he and then said you cheated before going to pout at Rosalie right?" Jasper asked her and she nodded at him with an annoyed expression.

"Yes!" She told him throwing her hands in the air.
"Come on Ana let's go get some ice cream," Jasper told her leading her to the kitchen.

"Yes please," she told him leaving Emmett there pouting. Alice laughed at him before following her mate and best friend to the kitchen.

Soon enough it was 8:30 and Ana had to be home by nine so Rosalie and Emmett were driving her home. The ride home was quiet but peaceful. Ana had a smile on her face the whole time as she looked out the window watching the rain.

When they got to her house she paused before opening her door. Emmett and Rosalie looked at her confused.

"I want to do this if that wasn't clear earlier," she told them with a small smile and a blush on her cheeks. They smiled at her with pure love in their eyes not that Ana knew yet.

"We knew but thank you for clarifying," Rosalie told her and she smiled at both of them both hugging them each.

"See you both tomorrow," Ana told them before heading inside. They smiled at her and waited for her to get inside and close the door before driving off.

After warming up leftover and taking a shower Ana laid down and fell asleep with a smile on her face and the reason was because of two golden-eyed vampires.
