Chapter Four:
I Love You

Bella and Edward finally came back and I told Bella the truth right away. She was angry but eventually forgive him.

We were on the way to school I was laughing with Bella about how Mom acted when she visited her.

We then got out of the car I smiled seeing Jacob.
"Jakey!" I yelled and he turned smiling at me as I ran to him hugging him tightly. He laughed spinning me around.

"Hey Ana," he told me and I smiled as Bella came up. They greeted each other as I stared at Jacob.

"Why are you here?" I asked him and I saw him tense. I smiled at his response as he stammered.

"I know Jacob," I told him and he immediately turned to me wide-eyed.

"Who told you?!" He asked and I laughed shaking my head.

"Jared," I told him and he shook his and muttered something about killing him.

"Are you mad?" He asks me and I laugh at his nervousness.

"As long as you don't break her heart everything will be fine," I told him and he sighed in relief. I laughed at him as he got on his bike.

"Coming?" He asked and I smile taking the helmet from him.

"Tell Jasper I'll see him later," I told Edward and he nodded as I got on the bike. We then rode towards Emily's with me smiling and screaming with a smile on my face.

Getting their I see the boys and run toward the first one which was Jared.

"Jared!" I yelled and he laughed hugging me back.
"FYI Jacob wants to kill you for telling me," I whispers to him and he froze looking at Jacob who was glaring at him.

He laughed nervously before sprinting away. I laughed as I picked up and spun around.

"Ana! I have missed you!" Embry said as he hugged me tightly. I laughed at him hugging him just as tight.

"I missed you too!" I told him as I heard a throat clear. I turned to see Sam and smiled at him jumping into his arms.

After hugging him I walked over to Paul. He smiled trying to hug me but I just slapped him across the face.
"Why?!" I screamed and I smiled.

"For attacking my mate and making me go into crazy mode," I told him and everyone turned to us.

"He made you go into crazy mode?" Sam asked and I nodded.

"Yep," I told him nodding my head. All the boys then all grumbled.

"We missed it!" Jared screamed and I laugh as Paul wrapped his arm around me.

"It was cool not going to lie, but it was also scary," he told them and I laugh at him.

As we started to head into the house. I paused seeing Leah.

"Leah," I whispered and she turned to me surprised.
"Ana?" She asked and I smiled nodding. I then pulled her into a tight hug.

"How are you? How is Seth? Did you get the cupcakes?
And brownies? And banana pudding I made?" I asked her and she nodded with a smile.

"Yes and Seth ate most of it," she told me and I laughed at her nodding.

"I believe it. Come on let's walk," I told her walking away not even paying attention to the gaping boys.

The rest of the day I hung out with pack until it started to get late. I was laughing with Jacob as he drove me home we were about to go over the bridge.

"Ugh my phone is about to die but I need to call Rosalie and Emmett," I told Jacob and he smiled at me taking his phone out.

"Here use my phone," he told me and I smiled at him taking the phone. I then looked up and my eyes widened.

"Jacob!" I scream as he looked wide-eyed and swerved the wheel. Making us go off the bridge into the water.

The Cullens were at their house beside Jasper and Emmett who were trying to track the vampire that broke into the Swan house. The thing that worried Jasper and Emmett the most was that the scent was mostly in Ana's room.

Rosalie was pacing back and forth for some reason she had a bad feeling. She knew something was wrong.

"Hey it's Ana sorry I can't get to the phone right but I will try to call you back later. Bye-bye," the voicemail said for the fourth time.  

"Still can't get her?" Esme asked and Rosalie nodded.
"Yeah which is weird she always answers her phone," Rosalie said as her anxiety got worse and worse.

All of a sudden Alice got pulled into a vision. It was a vision of Ana and Jacob running off the bridge. Edward saw and immediately got up and raced out the door not even explaining.

"Alice, what's wrong?" Carlisle asked as he saw his daughter about to break down and Edward scared expression.

"Ana she and Jacob they run off the bridge," Alice said and everyone stood up and raced towards the bridge. There was only one bridge in Forks so they knew where to go.

Emmett and Jasper were racing following the scent. They were close to the bridge when they suddenly heard a gigantic splash. They started heading towards it but they weren't fast enough.

Edward was the first one their and he immediately jumped into the water. He saw Ana conscious and Jacob unconscious. Ana was shaking him trying to get him to wake up but he wouldn't.

Edward went for Ana first but she shook her head pointing to Jacob. Edward continued to shake his head at her.

"The faster you get him out the faster you can come back to get me," Ana said in her head making Edward nod hesitantly. He got Jacob out as Ana tried her hardest to still awake but her lungs were burning.

She could feel her instincts telling her to breathe but just continued holding her breath. Just one more second. He will be back. That was what she kept repeating.

Till finally the need to exhale became too much. Her head felt like it was exploding. She had, no she needed to exhale, but she knew when she did it was over and she couldn't do that to her mates. They can't lose her. Her family can't lose her. Her Dad can't lose her. Her sister nor can the pack.

But the pressure was too much and finally, she exhaled. Letting the breathe she was holding in out. The bubbles floated out and she knew. She knew it was the end.

As her eyes began to close she had one last thought. Edward was swimming to her and could hear her thoughts. He knew he was running out of time and pushed even harder.

"I love you, Rosalie and Emmett," was Anastasia Swan's last thought as her heart stopped. And Anastasia Swan was dead.

Emmett was with Jasper running to the bridge when he fell to his knees in pain. It was like his heart felt like it was being ripped apart. Like at that moment he died all over again.

He looked at Jasper wide-eyed when he realized why he was feeling this.

"No," they both whispered as they got up and ran towards the scent of Anastasia Swan hoping they were wrong.

Rosalie Alice Esme and Carlisle were running towards the bridge when suddenly Rosalie fell to her knees in pain. It was as if her heart felt like it was being ripped apart. Like at that moment she died all over again.

She realized why and ran even faster and so did the other three Cullens.

Getting to the bridge they saw a scene they would never forget. They saw a pale wide-eyed Anastasia Swan on the river bank as Edward give her CPR. He wasn't giving up on her. He wasn't going to let her die. She couldn't die too many people needed her. She had to live.

"No. No. No," Rosalie kept muttering as she saw her mate dead. She tried to listen for her heartbeat but there wasn't one.

Emmett was staring at the scene in absolute devastation. He could all think about what if he ran faster and followed the scent and realized it was leading him to his mate that he could have saved her.

He ran over to his mate's body and pushed Edward away as he held her close crying tears that would never fall as he held her in his arms. He knew she was gone. He felt it happen. Both he and Rosalie did.

Rosalie joined him on the ground as they stared at their mates with broken hearts.

The second Anastasia Swan's heart stopped beating Rosalie Hale and Emmett Cullen broke. They shattered completely and only one person could save them, but she was gone.

Jasper was watching the scene with Alice in his arms destroyed. His best friend. His little sister was gone. She died and it broke him. Just as much as it broke her mates just in a different way.

Everyone knew that there was now a hole in their heart that would never be filled again. It was meant for one person and one person only.

The three kings were with their guards in the throne room when suddenly Marcus, Aro, Caius, and Jane felt a bond break.

They looked to Marcus who looked absolutely devastated. It was the first time anyone has seen emotion on his face in centuries.

"Brother whose bond broke?" Aro asked and Marcus sighed turning to the others.

"Anastasia Swans," Marcus told them making them all freeze. Anastasia Swan was dead. Everyone looked down at that news.

They all admired the youngest Swan. She was brave, courageous but most importantly she was kind. Something a lot of people in this world weren't anymore.

No one said anything they all took a moment to grieve the loss of Anastasia Swan. The kindest human they had ever met. Their favorite human.
