Prashanth's father came into his room and sat on the chair near his table, while he was sitting on his bed.

Prashanth took a deep breathe, this was going to happen, he somehow knew it.

His phone buzzed and it was a message from Anu Shruthi. He did not wanted to give any false hopes to her, he wasn't sure if they were meant to be together.

He sent the message and closed his phone not waiting for a reply from her. He needed a break before he could talk to her again.

He went to the terrace, a small tent where he usually paints, that's his workplace. Not something fancy, but always feels home to him. He entered his space, and just sat in front of the painting that he was working on.

He doesn't feel the urge to cry anymore, nor does the weight in his heart seem to reduce.

Shaking his head mentally hoping that it would help him shake off all the emotions he had been holding, he started to paint and probably would continue to do it till he feels better and if that meant he would continue to stay there for days.

On the other hand, Anu was waiting for his reply since last ten minutes.

"Ishu, reply ivvadente babu! Tension tho sachipothunna ikkada",Anu said laying her head on Ishira's shoulder and refreshing the chat for the nth time.

"Asalu patience ane idhi ledhu kadha neeku? Tanem panilo unnado",Ishira said shaking her head while sipping her tea.

"Em nachaledhenti?",Ishira asked.

"Valla father, endhuko valla idhari madhya antha manchi relation ledhemo anipisthundhi",Anu said to which Ishu nodded.

"Ala endhuku anukuntav, asalu father and son bond atlane kadha undedhi, abbayilaki nannale athagarlu laga undedhi, taunt cheyadanikaina, thittadanikaina",Ishu said.

"Point eh anuko, let's wait. Inthaki, next weekend long weekend, em chedham?",Anu asked.

"Naku pani undhey babu. Elagaina complete cheyali, doing commissioned works is not easy alongside doing job. Meekem telsu saar maa kashtalu",Ishira said to which Anu shook her head.

"Sarle lite teesko! Nenu chaduvukovali",she said and just then she received the message from Prashanth.

"Thane na?",Ishu asked to which Anu nodded and opened the message.

Anu read the message and looked at Ishu nervously.

"Emantunnadu?",Ishu asked.

"Time kavali antunnadu, adhe chepamantunnadu amma vallaki",Anu said.

She was little sad, she was instantly happy that he turned out to be the person she had a crush on but this came out unexpected.

"It's okay, Anu! Choodam, inka final ga em cheppaledhu kadha",Ishu said side hugging Anu.

"Amma vallaki ela cheppali?",she asked confused.

"It's okay cheppu emanaru le, nenu unna ga! Padha",Ishu said taking one last sip of her tea and both of them went to kitchen.

Anu's mother was busy with her chores and noticing the two girls, she looked at them suspiciously.

"Enti idharu ala thella mokalu pettukoni vacharu? Enti sangathi?",Roja asked.

"Amma, abbayi time kavali annadu, neeku chepammanadu",Anu broke the news.

Oka rendrojulu aagi nee nannani okasari phone cheymantanu, appudu lopu vallu vallu matadukoni oka mata meedhaki vachestharu",Roja said and assured her daughter that things will be fine even though she was a bit sad that a good proposal like that might be turned down.

"Aunty cheppindhi correct eh, Anu! Ippude kadha vellaru, appude ante kashtame kadha",Ishu said.

"Alantappudu engagement antunnaru adhi idhi ani cheppakudadhu, hopes endhuku ivvali endhuku paripovali",Anu said and stormed out from the kitchen ignoring the calls of her mother.

Meanwhile her grandmother, Kumari who eavesdropped on the conversation went on talking with her daughter and son in law regarding the matter while Ishu stayed back giving some space to Anu to think and get back on her foot with a clear mind.

Anu went to the balcony, she was angry at herself, at him, at everything. How come she made up her mind so easily? How come she has invested so many emotions at a time? She cursed herself and him for forgetting about the main obstacle for their relationship.

She stood there trying to clear her mind, minutes passed by and before she knew it was already half an hour down the time.

"Anu, nenu start avutunna! You want to talk?",Ishu came to the balcony and stood beside her.

"Nenu kalavali thanani",Anu declared.

"Wow, good conclusion! Mari cheppu adhedho. Matladukuntene kadha sort ayyedhi",Ishu said and patted her shoulder giving her an encouraging look.

"Kadhu nuvu undu ikkada please, nenu naa noti doola ki em matladatano telidhu",Anu said.

"Amma thalli, nenu ippudu intiki vellaledhu anuko maa amma akkada mahakali avataram ethidhhi, naa valla kadhu, Amma parledhu kani client tho kuda matladale. Nuvu call chey, em parledhu you can do this",Ishu said.

Half-heartedly, Anu bid bye to her friend and went to her room. She was skeptical if she was being too dominant by pressing things on him. Nevertheless, she needed to clear things that mattered to her at this point.

She started a call on Instagram and waited for him to answer it...
