I try to wake up Themis who is asleep on my arms but she just won't wake up.
-......mis, Themis, wake up.
T-Just a bit more.
And just like that she falls asleep again.
H-Told you she wouldn't wake up. She's not a light sleeper like me or Osiris, she is an early bird but until four in the morning, she won't wake up.
-I just want to get some sleep tonight but I don't think sleeping would be appropriate right now.
I let out a yawn and I shake my head, pushing my sleepiness away
H-Do sleep a bit. I'll stay awake through the night until she wakes up at least.
-Seriously?
H-Yes, I'll be right here.
I look at Themis as another yawn escapes me, only this time I give in and fall asleep.
--------------------Hades POV---------------------
I watch as Themis sleeps soundly by her boyfriend's side and I can't help but feel a bit of sadness at the sight when not so long ago she asked me to sleep with her when she couldn't sleep well. I smile as I remember the time when I was everything to her and she would pulled me all over Olympus to get what she wanted. After a couple minutes I go to the bathroom and change into my running clothes and I go out to do my usual morning run. I take a last look at everyone in the living room and then I go out for my run.
--------------------Themis POV-------------------
I wake up enveloped in a tight, warm hug and I reach over, caressing his face on my hands. He looks so handsome asleep like that. I lift up a bit reaching for a kiss when his eyes open wide and when he sees what I'm doing he smiles and gives me a quick kiss and when he backs away I pull my other arm over his neck pulling him down for a deeper kiss and he responds with equal passion and love.

-Are you hungry? I can make a simple breakfast.
D-I am a bit hungry but I want to wait until they wake up to eat.
-Then come with me for a run at the park, I'll promise it'll be fun.
D-Sure, there's not much to do here and I want to be with you.
-Oh, sweetie. Let me change really fast and we'll go.
I go upstairs and I take my backpack for exercise and change into my gym clothes I fix my hair into a ponytail and I storm off downstairs to the door pulling Diego along with me.

We get outside and I turn to lock the door as Diego admires me.
D-You look amazing.
-Thank you, I know I look amazing. Shall we get started?
D-Sure, which way?
I focus on dad's aura and I point in the direction to where he is. I start jogging and Diego follows close behind me. At a point I lose sight of him and I keep myself moving in the same place as I search for him between the buildings and aleys of New York city when I feel a couple arms wrap around me from behind I squeak in fear.
D-Got you.
-Diego, don't ever do that again.
D-Kiss?
I frown crossing my arms over my chest and looking away from him.
D-Oh, come on, you know you can't resist this face. One, on the cheek, little and short, just the tip. Look like so.
I watch as he mimicks a kiss and I look at him with a smile.
D-You know you want it, come on, just this one. Please.
He arches his eyebrows expectantly and I step closer to him hugging him tightly.
-Fine.
He gives me a quick kiss, true to his word. We continue jogging and this time I have to keep pace with his long strides. I catch sight if a bench in front of him and I rush to sit down on it letting out a tired sigh.
D-Tired?
-A bit. A short break.
D-Want to head back?
I look at my watch and shake my head at him.
-We still have fifteen minutes, maybe I could, no, better not risk it. Let's go back.
D-Let's.
I stand from the bench and I run top speed away from him.
-Race you there!
D-Nice.
We run shoulder by shoulder back home, he doesn't let me take the lead but doesn't leave me behind either. We get there and I elbow him in the gut and as he gasps for air I run to the door and as I unlock it he takes my hand and we fall on the floor inside.
D-Cheater. That does not count.
-Yes it does, I won fair and square.
D-Only because I let you.
Still laughing he gets up and offers me a hand helping me up. I take it and when I'm on my feet again I pinch his cheeks in my hands.
-My win.
D-Do I get a consolation prize for losing?
-A big hug and a kiss.
I ask him to bend down a little so I could reach him, he smiles at me half laughing but stills bends down for me to reach him and kiss him.

As we separate he looks at me lovingly.

D-Thank you.
-What for?
D-For saving me and giving my life meaning again. I thought I was alone forever, until you showed up and light the way for me. I love you.
-I love you too. Let's eat something before they wake up.
He nods at me and helps me doing the breakfast. Afterwards we eat in silence, when I hear footsteps from the hallway. I look and see dad as he enters the room going directly to the fridge for his green smoothie.
H-Did you let the door opened?
-Most probably, sorry dad.
H-I'm going back to Olympus today. As much as I want to stay with you for the rest of the weekend, I can't, sorry. Promise me you'll stay here with the guardians every weekend.
-I promise and one thing, when can I practice with my aura? It's gotten harder to control since last time.
H-That's why you'll stay here every weekend. They will help you with your aura.
-Are you going to use the white suite today?
He gives me a puzzled look before going to the bathroom and prepare for the day. When he gets out he only stops to give me a kiss and get his keys. Leaving us alone, I stare at the door as he goes away.
-Four more years until I see him again. Hopefully.
D-Should we wake them up?
-Later. I want to be with you without anyone interrupting us for a while longer.
D-I like this.
-What?
D-Now we can express our love freely without being afraid.
-Want to play a game?
D-Sure, which one?
-Chess, checkers and other board games.
D-At the same time?
-Yeah, why not?
D-I didn't say anything.
I smile at him and I go get some board games for us to play. Diego watches me as I accommodate the games in front of him. I make the first move in all of the games and before long we are both completely immersed in the games. After a couple hours we finish the last game ending on my win.
-Checkmate, and that's how you win the game.
D-How can you concentrate in each game without getting confused?
-Is a gift, unlike my parents I can do multiple tasks at the same time efficiently while they can only concentrate on a single task.
D-Amazing.
-My win except for Shoji that ended up in a tie.
I let out a long sigh leaning back on the floor my hands behind my head.
D-Tired?
-Not really just, bored.
D-You said you wanted to control your aura better. I can help you if you want to practice now.
-But you can't use your aura.
D-But I'm as strong as a godly monster. I can help you to some extent.
-I don't know, I don't want to hurt you.
D-I'll evade and focus on defense only. Come on.
-Fine.
We go to the roof and we start sparring with each other.
D-You can't expect me to believe that is your full power. I know you can do better than that, come on. Hit me with every thing you've got.
-I don't want to hurt you.
D-Then I'll attack and you use any means necessary to stop me.
-Fine, you asked for it but, use all your power to try and evade this attack because I will use all my power in this attack. Brace yourself, is going to hurt.
I see him smiling as he puts himself in place and I call forth all my power to attack him. I unfold my wings widely at my sides with my aura pulsing dangerously around me. I direct it to my hand above me and throw it at him.

He redirects some of the attack but gets hit by another after attack getting thrown over the edge of the building. Scared, I run up to the edge to see that he's hanging by the edge of a window from below. I let out a sigh of relief.
-Thank the heavens you're okay.
D-That's a matter of perspective. Can you help me up?
-Oh, sure, hold tight.
I hold a hand out for him and take him by the wrist and pull him up back to the roof with me.
D-That was some powerful attack.
-I feel weak. It took all my energy to do that. I think I pushed too far off from what I could control.
D-Why you say that?
-Because I attack so when it got close to you I could redirect it and not hit you but when I tried to redirect it it didn't work, I just couldn't do it. I think I'll practice with mom, dad, uncle Zeus and uncle Poseidon when I have the chance.
D-You want to know something?
-What?
D-I can feel my strength growing ever since I met you.
-How come?
D-Not sure, but I can feel it and also I feel something strange and different growing inside of me.
-Give me your hand.
D-What for?
-Just give me your hands.
He does and I hold it tightly focusing on every strand of power. That's when I sense it, faint and fragile but there. I reach for it and it grows stronger and bigger. I let go of him looking at him in shock.
D-Well? What happened?
-Your aura....
D-My aura? I don't have an aura.
-You didn't, but now you do, and it's growing. Like is dormant or a newborn.
D-Awakening now?
-Yeah. It looks like you're going to be stronger than you let on.
D-I want to take you somewhere special, someday soon.
We stand up and as we reach the door we hear their voices agitated and excited. I open the door hurriedly and much to my surprise I find that Cerberus and Osiris are wrestling one another. As soon as they see me they stop and give me they're brightest most innocent smiles.
C & O-He started it.
I walk over to them and punch their heads hard enough that they feel it but soft enough I don't hurt them.
-Honestly, can't you just stop acting like kids for a second.
They look at each other and then at me shaking their heads and they both start laughing at me. I start laughing too but still kick their butts out. I turn to leave for the room but stop on the doorway and look over my shoulder at them.
-I'm going to sleep for a bit. Don't you dare wake me up unless you're about to die yourselves.
I go up to Cerberus's room and after taking off my pants and my shirt I let myself sink on the bed and let sleep take me.
---------------------Osiris POV---------------------
For a moment everyone is silent after Themis leaves.
-Well, that was weird.
D-Yeah.
-Who wants to play some games?
All-Me!
I put a finger to my mouth and wave them to lower their voices and they go all in a whisper.
All-Me.
C-Good thing I have enough controllers for an army. I'll go fetch them.
D-I'll help you.
With that Cerberus and Diego disappear down the hall to get the controllers while Nemean, Orthrus and myself get the game set up. At some point in the middle of the game Cerberus stands and orders pizza and gets out a couple of sodas. Before we know it we have played everything is sunset and as I excuse myself to get another soda I feel a shiver run down my back. I look to the side to the top of the stairs and sure enough. Themis is standing there her aura emerging menacingly from around her as she looks at me.

T-I told you not to wake me.
I open my mouth to speak but no sound comes out. I can only watch as she comes down and enters the living room. I gasp in horror as she raises her hand, focusing her aura on it. I close my eyes preparing for the worst but as it never comes I open my eyes and see that the TV is turned off. I look at Themis in confusion and manage to ask her.
-What you do?
T-I turned it off. Why? What did you thought I was going to do?
-Oh nothing, nothing at all.
T-Where's Diego?
-He went home to get some sleep.
T-Oh, I wanted to ask him something. Guess I'll do it when we get back to school on Tuesday.
I nod at her and we both head upstairs to get some sleep ourselves.
