My world started rotating. All I could hear was the faint sound of Shashi calling out my name.
Then I passed out. I don't remember anything that happened after that. All I remember is that rusty old place I found myself in after I opened my eyes.

The roof wasn't concrete. Just some metal sheets rearranged. It stunk around me. And as I was regaining consciousness, I found myself tied really harsh with some jute ropes.
It hurt. And my mouth too was taped.
I tried to look around and I saw Shashi lying unconscious at a distance.
I tried to wake her up. But neither could I call her out nor could I move any of my limbs.
The place should have been a factory or something. It was greasy and some powder was covering the ground.
Plus the heat was unbearable.

So I tried to move my whole body towards Shashi with all the strength I had.
Finally after like half an hour long drill, I could make it to her, just in time she'd started to regain her senses.

I waited for a while till she could understand her condition. Then suddenly our eyes met. And we burst out crying.
As for me, I was terrified. I'd never felt so scared and helpless before. I knew then, that I am gonna die or even worse, could get some limbs chopped.

I could feel the ropes lashing out my skin. And the more I tried, the more it hurt.
My throat was as dry as sandpaper. And I was gulping my own saliva to help it. My eyes were swelled up and my feet sore.
And I know Shashi was going through the same thing.

And then suddenly, out of nowhere, in this world of a deaf, we heard sounds.
Sounds of some hundred or more feet approaching us at a steady speed. It sounded like a march past. But much noisier.
They were saying something, rather commanding the pack of people. But we could not make the ends meet.

As we were busy listening, we heard someone in the next room. As I could see through the peephole, they were two. And they were having a heated argument.

"They are what we really need right now! If we drop this plan, we are gonna end nowhere."

"Why don't you understand? This can prove fatal? Everything that we have been planning can be ruined!"

"Oh common! If you were afraid to take risks, you shouldn't have entered into the business at the first place."

"You are out of your mind right now! You need to calm down."

"What calm down? To bring Mohnish Oberoi into this, we had to kidnap them. He is our last chance to survive."
