-Chapter 54: Amber & Cadence-
After the two of you talked for a bit, Norman - exhausted by this point - passed out first, still clutching your pyjama top as he finally succumbed to the sweetness of sleep. You stayed up for a couple more minutes - concerned about his wellbeing - and then eventually relaxed, feeling relieved that Norman was safe and you could both sleep the remainder of the night. You were about to drift off to sleep yourself, but Michael - looking left-out - knelt down on his knees and hugged your waist from behind, unable to keep a lid on his possessive personality. Your cheeks heated up but you didn't do anything about his actions - deciding it would calm down the stalker's jealousy to some form of degree.
Eventually you fell asleep for the second time, praying that nothing else would interrupt you. Thankfully, nothing else did - so at last you could sleep. Then, after a while, hands gently shook you. "Mm...what...?" You mumbled under your breath, wondering what on Earth was going on now. "What is it...?"
Silence was your only answer - though after a few seconds you received another soft shake, which made you nuzzle into Norman a little more and attempt to continue sleep. "I wanna sleep more..." You sighed after the third shake, rolling over and then spotting Michael.
"O-Oh, uh, morning Michael." You hurriedly sat up and ran a hand through your messy bedhead; trying to appear more awake. "I um, was just about to get ready! I...I swear!"
His usual stare made you release a tiny, timid laugh - knowing straightaway that he'd seen right through your untruth. "Okay well...maybe not. But—" You stopped speaking for a moment as the killer grabbed your phone off the bedside table and showed you the time. "Shit! I'm gonna be late! Thanks for waking me up, but I should really be go—"
"(Y/n)...?" A sleepy voice interrupted you faintly, two arms curling around your left arm whilst they clung to you. "W...What's going on...? Who are you...Who are you talking to...?"
"Sorry Norman," You apologised regretfully, "But I've got to head to my uni class now."
"W-Wait, what...!?" Norman suddenly became more awake; the dark-haired male sitting up with you while he tugged your arm closer to his chest.
"I'm going to be late." You awkwardly mentioned as you stifled a yawn and tried to pull your arm out of his clutches, feeling bad when his gaze glistened with tears.
"B-But...But (Y/n)!" He tightened his hold on you even more in complete and utter desperation, trying his best to keep you with him. "You...You can't go yet...!"
Before you could open your mouth to retaliate, Michael came to your aid and yanked Norman away from you; causing the younger boy to cry out in total frustration. "This...This isn't fair...! Y-You can't...You just...can't...!" He shrieked tearfully, wriggling in Michael's iron grasp and attempting to get free.
You anxiously bit your lip; unsure of what to do or what to say in this sort of situation. You just had to be...assertive. So, once you'd taken a deep breath, you decided to try that out. "Norman, I have to go." You sternly spoke, standing up and walking over to your bedroom door - opening it right after. "I promise I'll spend time with you tomorrow, 'kay?"
"B...But..." Norman stuttered with a shocked expression, wiping the tears from his eyes as he too stood up. "I...I need you..."
"I'm not leaving forever." You consoled him as best as you could, gesturing for the two of them to leave so you could get dressed.
"W...What about spending time together...?" He whimpered miserably, looking extremely upset.
"Like I told you; we can hang out tomorrow and do whatever you want to do." You calmly reminded him. "Remember...?"
Norman sighed before Michael released him; wiping his eyes and trying to cheer himself up. "Y...Yeah..." He unhappily agreed.
"Now could the two of you please leave? I would love to get dressed." You told them with a friendly smile - not wanting to be late for your psychology class.
"I...I...Okay..." Norman gave in first as Michael silently nodded; the dark-haired boy leaving the room while the stalker moved towards you.
"Michael...? What are you doing...?" You curiously inquired, trying not to blush whilst the killer wrapped his arms around you and rested his head atop yours - acting very possessive. "I have to go."
After a minute or two he dipped his head and disappeared; leaving you alone to prepare for your class. So you quickly got dressed and slipped on some shoes, stretching before you brushed your hair. Then, you made your way downstairs and got greeted by none other than Hannibal, the polite male being incredibly pleased to see you. He'd also cooked up some pancakes - which of course, you ate without hesitation. And once you'd finished breakfast, you got obsessively hugged by all three of them, each male making you grow more and more embarrassed by the minute.
"Adieu, my dearest (Y/n)." Hannibal bid you farewell fondly; kissing the top of your hand and flashing you a warm smile.
"Mmhm..." Norman piped up sulkily, still upset by what had gone down earlier. "See you later..."
"I'll be back soon." You lightly responded, trying to brighten the mood ever-so-slightly as you raised your hand and gave them a wave.
"I don't doubt it." Hannibal spoke casually, copying your wave and remaining calm. "I hope you have a pleasant afternoon."
"Thanks you guys." You replied in a carefree manner and stepped away from the doorstep. "See you later!" And with that, you began walking to university - happy that you could finally attend said class.
"Michael are you serious...?" You tightened your hold on your bag as you noticed the silent male staying right by your side - stalking you like usual. "I said I'd hang out with you after my psychology class ends."
All you got as an answer was an uncaring shrug, so you simply sighed and continued walking. "Just don't cause a ruckus, okay? Stalk me from outside or something." You worriedly ordered - wanting to keep everything under control.
Luckily he nodded again and so you breathed a sigh of relief, letting him hug you a third time before you entered the building. Thankfully, you made it just in time for class - seeing not only Amber but Cadence too. "Cadence! You're back!" You exclaimed joyfully.
"Hells yeah she is!" Amber exclaimed with a mischievous grin, giving you a playful high-five and looking immensely happy to see you along with your blonde-haired friend.
"(Y/n)! It's so good to see you." Cadence spoke in a softhearted tone, the three of you sharing hugs and then taking your seats.
"Where have you been during the last few days?" Amber demanded to know after a couple of seconds - puzzled by your previous whereabouts whilst you all waited for your psychology professor to appear.
"Um..." You trailed off uncomfortably, wondering what to say or how to explain properly. "Well, let's just say I've been uh, busy. Busy...moving house."
"Moving house...?" Cadence echoed with a curious expression, "I didn't know you and your mother were moving house."
"Well uh...it was only me that moved out!" You told them part of the truth - praying they wouldn't want to know any more. "Anyway, it's not important. How's Laura doing?"
"Good news!" Amber clapped her hands together as her face twisted into one of happiness, "She's almost healed!"
"You're kidding!" You gasped in surprise; your eyes widening to the size of saucers while the sudden news hit you hard. "For real!?"
"Yep!" Cadence chipped in cheerily - her coffee-coloured eyes twinkling with delight as her happy-go-lucky attitude became infectious. "She's only in there for her bandaged wounds to be checked over and replaced now."
"That's wonderful!" You grew excited yourself - relieved that your hospitalised friend was going to make a full recovery.
"So once she's out of the hospital, why don't we all go hang out somewhere?" Amber casually suggested. "Y'know, as a way to celebrate."
"I'm in." Cadence replied with a soft smile - everyone falling silent when the teacher finally entered the classroom. Amber looked towards you - not knowing your answer - and so you threw her an enthusiastic nod in return, deciding that you'd definitely hang out with your friends once again.
As for your new roommates, they'd just have to...they'd just have to accept it. Period.
