-Chapter 52: Bedtime Shenanigans-

"Are you heading to bed now? To be perfectly honest, it is rather late." Hannibal's soft voice snapped you out of your sleepy trance; his amused expression causing a sheepish one to spread across your face while you tried to appear more awake.

"Yeah, I'm pretty beat." You couldn't hold back a yawn and simply stifled it, moving closer to your bedroom instead. "Besides, I don't want to be tired worn out while I'm attending my psychology class tomorrow."

"I understand. Sweet dreams then, mio fiorellino." Hannibal affectionately replied, taking ahold of your hand and planting a delicate kiss on top of it. "Hopefully the Hypnocil I gave Michael to give to you will be of some use. Though of course, that's if you actually decide to take it this time around."

An anxious blush shot across your cheeks like wildfire; his words making you feel extremely embarrassed when you recalled every time you didn't take said pill. "Hey Mom, I'm going to sleep now." "Don't worry, I took the Hypnocil."

"Is there anything else I should know?"
"Yes, actually." "You should know that messing with a dream demon and ignoring the Hypnocil pills won't end well."
"I...I never said I was—"

"Give ME your Hypnocil pills, and DON'T tell Hannibal. OR tell him about our visit tomorrow." "You understand me?"
"Wait, wha—?" "What's wrong with telling Hannibal...?"

"Twisting (Y/n) around your fucking finger the way you have. Well the joke's on you, she's not even taking the Hypnocil! So whatever you're planning, it's not going to work. I'm not going to fucking let it."

"You're not taking the Hypnocil?" "I thought I'd reminded you multiple times, not to mention you promised you wouldn't."
"I-It's not because I didn't want to." "I just...I made a deal and I had to keep it, that's all."

"You made a deal? With who, exactly?"
"With me of course," "And that's why she's mine. So don't even think about fucking things up, you understand me?"
"Ah, so it's a forced relationship. How unfortunate."

"Is something wrong? Are you angry with me?"
"No, no, it's nothing like that." "Your behaviour and thought process are just something that are puzzling me."
"Huh...? Puzzling you? How come?"
"Well let's see, I prescribed you Hypnocil, yet you didn't take it." "Then, I assumed you took it after our encounter at Camp Crystal Lake."

"I...I did - for a night - but—"
"So when Freddy informed all of us in the living room that you'd stopped taking it a second time, let's just say I was not happy."
"It wasn't my intention to make you unhappy or anything like that."

"So for that, I apologise. I just...I just didn't know what to do at the time. I felt like I was being tugged in two different directions at once. One person wanted me to take it, the other person didn't want me to take it - I just didn't know what to do."

"I see." "But what I don't understand is why you've returned to the hospital to retrieve more Hypnocil? It's almost like you're playing a game. Or could it be that you've reached your limit with Krueger's repulsive behaviour?"

"Don't worry, I actually want to sleep tonight." You timidly reassured him, remembering the promise you made to Norman about the whole sleeping-with-you thing as well.

"In that case, dormi bene amore mio." Hannibal sent you a sweet smile before moving past you into his own bedroom.

"You too!" You called after him shyly, opening your bedroom door and growing startled. Why? Because both Michael and Norman were inside the room, waiting patiently.

"Michael? Norman? What on Earth—?"

"(Y/n)! (Y/n)! (Y/n)!" Norman bounded over to you and nuzzled into your chest, overjoyed by the sight of you. "Are you ready? Are you? Are you? Are you?"

"Almost." You let out a light laugh and felt strangely at peace, wrapping your arms around him and rubbing his back. "Just give me a minute, will you? I need to take some Hypnocil pills so I won't be disturbed by someone."

Once you'd said that; you broke the hug, turned round to properly face Michael and then held your hand out - relieved when he passed you the tiny plastic bag Hannibal had given him. "Thanks, Michael." You thanked him gratefully, giving him a quick hug of your own. In fact you were so grateful that you didn't even mind him following you downstairs and into the kitchen.

But upon entering said kitchen, you almost dropped the small plastic bag - not expecting Freddy to be leaning against the counter. "And just what do you have there, honey~?" He drawled out darkly, sounding tremendously cold and callous.

"Nothing to concern yourself with." You firmly retorted, your grip on it tightening.

"I swear, what is it with you and Hypnocil!?" The dream demon snapped out as he lost control of his anger - lunging forwards and attempting to stop you from taking it.

Luckily for you, Michael leapt in front of you and grabbed Freddy by the wrists; preventing him from approaching you while he used his head to silently tell you to take it. Oh, yeah. "No means NO, bitch!" The burnt male growled and teleported out of the stalker's grasp - tackling you to the floor abruptly.

This of course made Michael see red, the silent slasher growing enraged by Freddy's actions and shoving him away from your frail form. And before he could disappear/reappear closer to you, Michael smashed his head into the side of the kitchen counter, forcing the demonic killer to stumble and clutch at his head for a moment or two. Shit, you had to take it fast! Snatching a clean glass from the cupboard and filling it up with water, you quickly took a sip and swigged down a couple of the Hypnocil pills - wanting to actually sleep well for a change. But it was weird, because watching Michael and Freddy fight wasn't as stressful as it usually would be.

After all, the Michael and Norman conflict earlier was simply shock and anger on your part. Could it be that you were growing used to the high amount of violence that seemed to go on in this house...? After Freddy had noticed that you'd taken the Hypnocil he grew even angrier - frustrated by how you'd been won over by the others. For fucks sake, you didn't even know what they were really like. Especially Hannibal. He had to do something soon, and fast. Though for now, all he did was release a vicious snarl and vanish into thin air - clearly not happy with your behaviour tonight.

You faintly bit your lip and left the kitchen, flicking the light off before heading upstairs. Hopefully Freddy wasn't too— "Yay! Y-You're back-!" Norman's excited voice interrupted your thoughts as you saw him sitting on your bed - clasping his hands together while he held them close to his chest.

"I am indeed." You softly smiled, shutting the door behind you while turning the light off. "Now I don't know about you, but I'm super duper tired."

"Oh! Me too!" Norman agreed in a bubbly tone, getting into the right side of the bed whilst he waited for you to join.

"You sure sound it." You spoke with a slight ounce of sarcasm, climbing into the left side and growing even more sleepy. "Night Norman. Night Michael."

"Oh, wait!" Norman hurriedly stopped you from falling asleep, snuggling into you with the utmost of love. "C-Can I...C-Can I hug you like this-? Please-?"

"Um, okay." You answered uneasily, not seeing an issue with it. "That's fine by me."

"Thank you!" He mumbled adoringly, "I love you so much, (Y/n)."

Hugging him back, you felt a warm glow swirl around your body; happiness lighting up your heart as you gave into your emotions. "And you melt my heart quicker than anything else I could possibly imagine." You stopped yourself from continuing, blush shooting across your facial features once you'd realised what you'd just said. No...No! You couldn't fall for them after what they did!

...Could you...?
