Rae's POV

" SLUG! " , I exclaimed happily.

My older brother ran towards me and picked me up before swigging me around. I giggled before receiving a hug from him and a kiss on my forehead. The familiar scent of leather and salt water hit my nose and I knew that I was definitely reunited with Killian.

" Aye Rae. " , Mr. Smee waved.

" Mr. Smee! " , I exclaimed before hugging him as well.

" Devin, I meant just the bloody pirate. " , Peter grumbled.

" Well the old guy wanted to come to. " , Devin shrugged before returning to his spot at the campfire.

" Are you okay? " , Killian asked me concerned before examining my side.

" I'm completely fine. " , I assured him.

" I didn't think Petra would heal you quickly. " , he murmured.

" It wasn't Petra. It was magic, Killian. " , I stated.

" Magic? Are you sure? " , he raised his eyebrow at me.

" Anything is possible in Neverland, Captain. " , Mr. Smee reminded him.

" Aye. " , Killian replied in agreement.

" Has the ship been fixed? " , I asked nervously.

" Indeed, Rae. She looks good as new. " , Mr. Smee smiled at me.

I sighed in relief before turning back to see Peter standing there with crossed arms above his chest. Petra stood next to her brother with Scott's arms around his girlfriend from behind. The lost boys focused on their own task as some looked at the tense between Peter and Killian.

I took a deep breath before playing with my hands nervously. I knew this would take a lot of courage for me to do so and hoped that things would go well for me.

" Killian, I need to tell you something. " , I said quietly.

" In front of everyone or in private? " , he asked.

" In front of everyone. " , I nodded.

" Go ahead. " , Killian said.

I took a deep breath before looking up at my brother to meet his blue eyes. After a lot of thinking, I knew that I was making the decision, but I wanted to make sure that my brother knew about it. I plan to always be close to my older brother.

" Peter and I got back together. " , I begun.

His eyes slightly darkened before he crossed his arms above his chest. He used his hook to scratch his beard before nodding for me to continue.

" I know that you hate Peter. I mean you both are long term enemies for a reason. It's in the fairytale, so I understand, but I would like for you to know that I don't see Peter the way that you see him. " , I stated.

" So you don't see him as a bloody demon? " , Killian asked bluntly

" No. I don't see him that way. Once you really get to know Peter like I do, he can very sweet and loving. That boy is my first love and nobody can replace him. " , I stated proudly.

" Okay, so say that I let you. " , Killian said before using his hand and hook to exaggerate. " What do you plan to do in Neverland? Is that how you want your life to be? "

" I plan to stay by Peter's side. For my entire childhood, I have always dreamed to live in Neverland because of the many wonders this island holds. Not to mention that Peter and I can fly anywhere else for a little adventure. It's what I want to do with my life. " , I clarified.

" I don't know, Rae. " , he said not being convinced.

" Killian, you followed your dream to be a pirate. It might suck to always end up in Neverland, but at least I'm here. I'm not asking you to be best friends with Peter. I'm asking you to consider my happiness with Peter. " , I pleaded.

" So you wouldn't need me anymore then. " , Killian replied stubbornly.

" Slug, you cant get rid of me that easily. " , I teased before sticking out my tongue.

" Still not convinced. " , Killian muttered.

" I'm not pirate material nor do I want to he one. I would rather be in Neverland where I can be myself. " , I explained

Mr. Smee coughed a bit gaining my brother's attention. He saluted to his captain before Killian nodded in approval as Mr. Smee spoke up.

" Captain, I think it's important that you understand where your sister is coming from. I understand that you don't like the idea of Pan being her ideal boyfriend, but if Pan makes your sister happy then that's all should matter. " , Mr. Smee said.

I gave Mr. Smee a small smile for the support. My brother's deep blue eyes wandered towards Smee before he looked at me. I played with my hands nervously before Killian approached me and lifted my chin with his hook.

" If your purpose is to not be a pirate, but to be a Neverlander, then so be it. I don't trust that bloody demon, but I trust you because your happiness is important to me than anything else. " , he said softly.

" More important than your ship? " , I raised my eyebrow.

" Yes. Even more important than my ship. " , Killian chuckled before hugging me gently.

I hugged my brother back and sighed happily before ruffling his raven hair. I heard aweeeees and oooooooohs from everyone around us and saw Mr. Smee smiling at us.

" I hope you do realize that your life will change now. " , Killian whispered.

" I know. At least I have you. " , I said softly before a few tears streamed down my cheek.

" You will always have me, pig. You can't get rid of me that easily. " , he lightly chuckled before wiping away my tears with his thumb.

I chuckled at his cheer up before kissing his cheek. He stood up to his full height and ruffled my hair before moving past me and approaching Peter. The entire camp of lost boys, Petra, Scott and Mr. Smee were watching the tension that was going on before Killian stood in front of Pan. I just so happened to have front row seats.

My boyfriend narrowed at green eyes at my blue-eyed brother and uncrossed his arms. My brother, on the other hand, placed his hook on Peter's chest where his heart was.

" You are lucky that I adore my baby sister and respect her wishes to be with a filthy boy like you. It's too bad you will see me more often, bloody demon so allow me to make this clear for you. " , he sneered. " If you hurt my sister in any physical or mental form, I will first drive my hook into your chest until you are suffering and then make you walk the plank to your death. "

" Was that a threat? " , Peter asked raising his eyebrow.

" It was a promise. " , my brother poked his chest with his hook.

" Aye Captain. " , Peter saluted before smirking.

Then my brother snorted at Peter's cockiness before he walked towards me and kissed my forehead.

" Make sure he behaves, pig. " , he whispered.

" Aye, Captain Slug. " , I saluted.

" Captain Slug? " , he groaned.

" Captain Slug. " , I giggled before nodding.

" I will let it be between us. " , he poked my nose before leaving the camp.

I waved at Mr. Smee and watched them exit the camp and into the forest before a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. A pair of strong arms wrapped around me from behind and I snuggled close to him.

" Your brother is overprotective. " , he muttered.

" Just like you with Petra. " , I chuckled.

Peter hummed in response before holding me close. He glared at the lost boys staring at us and immediately I heard footsteps scurrying elsewhere.

" Meet me at the beach when it's close to sunset. " , he whispered into my ear.

I slowly nodded before smiling at him and pecking his cheeks as I sighed happily.
