Peter's POV

I crossed my arms above my chest and stood firmly in front of Petra's bed where the boyfriend and my sister gave me confused faces. Scott still had his arms wrapped around Petra and my sister was snuggled close to him. Their eyes sorta twinkled when they were with one another and their body warmly folded between Scott's large frame and Petra's small frame. They fit together perfectly like a puzzle since they had opposite personalities. And well they say that opposites attract, so it was meant to be.

Now I feel really lonely without Rae.

" Peter, what excatly are you planning? What is the catch? What kind of mission are your sending me on? When do you want me to come back? " , Petra spilled out her questions quickly.

And while she exploded with questions, she wiggled out of Scott's grip and slowly approached me by standing on her bed and squatting down to grab my collar as she looked at me eye to eye. I grabbed her wrist and yanked her arms down gently before pointing to where Scott was. Petra muttered inaudible words under her breath before approaching her boyfriend and sitting down on his lap before leaning against his chest. Her boyfriend's arms wrapped around her protectively before his attention was on me.

I placed my arms behind my back and paced back and forth in the room for a while. After a few minutes of silence, I placed my hands on the edge of Petra's bed and leaned towards it.

" Do you not want to go? " , I asked my sister.

" I do want to go. I'm just shocked that you just came in here and say that I'm coming with Scott. " , Petra said.

" Yeah, how did you even know that I was leaving today? " , the Alpha raised his eyebrow.

" I overheard the phone call conversation when I was about to knock on the door. " , I answered.

" Nosy. " , Petra shook her head.

" You could have just asked me you know. " , I shrugged.

" Well I just found out about Rae's breakup with you, so I didn't want to bother you. " , my sister whispered quietly.

" Oh Petra, your happiness is most important than my breakup. I can handle it now, so no worries. " , I assured her.

" I wanted to be there for you. " , She mumbled quietly as Scott stroked her hair gently.

" Petra, you have done a lot for me. So do me a favor and be happy with your boyfriend. If there is anyone that deserves a happy ending, then that is you. " , I smiled slightly at her. " Besides, you need to get out more. "

Her lips curved in a smile before she wiggled out of Scott's arms and jumped out of her bed before hugging me tightly. I returned the gesture by hugging her back and gently patting her back.

" You are the best brother ever! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! " , Petra squealed before slightly jumping up and down in my arms.

" You are welcome. " , I chuckled and smiled seeing her being excited.

" Thank you, Peter. You have no idea how much you made my day. " , She gleamed.

Scott snorted and lowly growled with crossed arms as he puffed up his chest. His eyes slightly flickering red.

" Someone's jealous. " , Petra teased

Scott growled lowly in a warning tone.

" I know that you just didn't growl at me. " , Petra sassed him.

Scott growled loudly this time before he snorted and smirked at Petra.

Petra raised up her sleeves and unbraided her hair before putting in a high ponytail. She puffed her chest before clenching her fist.

" Just wait until I get my hands on you. " , Petra huffed playfully.

Immediately, I wrapped my arms around my sister and held her back from approaching Scott. She threw her arms in the air and tried to get out of my grip before I held her back.

" Petra, I wouldn't challenge an Alpha. " , I advised.

" Alpha or boyfriend, I'm still going to kick his butt! " , she exclaimed while trying to pull away from me.

" Kick my butt? " , Scott raised his eyebrow before slowly getting out of Petra's bed. " I would like to see you try. "

My sister gritted her teeth before using she turned around and kicked where the sun never shined and escaped my grip as I fell to my knees and groaned in pain. I laid on the floor and huffed in frustration.

Petra, on the other hand, ran towards Scott. Petra clenched her fist and aimed for his stomach before Scott grabbed her wrist and turned her around so he could wrap his arms around her waist tightly and lay his head on her shoulder.

" I hate you. " , Petra pouted.

" Hey, fast reflexes comes in handy. " , Scott chuckled playfully before kissing her cheek.

I gritted my teeth as pain overwhelmed my lower part of my body. I could only ache for the pain to disappear as I breathed heavily lying on the floor.

" Pan, are you okay? " , Scott asked with concerned.

" Nope. " , I managed to say in between breaths.

" Petra, do you know that it's painful for males when you kick us like that. " , Scott said sternly.

" I know. " , she nodded.

" That was not nice. You need to apologize to your brother before he changes his mind about you coming along. " , he scolded her.

Her green eyes widened before she ran towards me and examined my posture before frowning. She stroke my hair gently and mumbled apologies.

" Just promise me that you won't get yourself in trouble. I need you to behave. " , I said sternly before feeling the pain slowly decrease.

" Yes, Peter. " , she saluted.

" Alrighty. " , I confirmed before slowly getting up thanks to my sister's help.

" Thank you Pan. I will keep you updated. " , Scott nodded.

" Good. " , I murmured before leaving my sister's room.

At least Petra has her happy ending.
