Y/n ran into the University as she was already late. She quickly kept her things in her locker and started to run to her class.

She never gets late but she encountered her step father while coming out of the house and he made her make the breakfast all over again just because he thought y/n added smth to the food.

He even hit her hands with a stick just for no reason. Y/n applied councillor on her hands and after all that shit she got late for university.

As she was running to her class she bumped into someone. All her books feel from her hands.

She quickly picked them up.

She bowed to the person as a sry and again ran to her class. She didn't really see who the person was.

She didn't notice that she left her necklace behind.

The person whom she bumped into noticed her necklace fallen on the ground. He picked it up.

"Wait-"

He turned around to call her but she already left. He looked at the necklace and his eyes widen.

"This necklace..."

Principal: Mr.Jin what are you doing here? I was waiting for you in the office.

Jin: ah..yeah let's go

He kept the necklace in his pocket. He went with the principal.

Principal: pls have a seat..

Jin sat down.

Principal: would you like to have smth sir?

Jin: no thank you

The principal nodded and took out the file from his drawer.

Principal: these are the top five students of our university this semester, sir

He passed the file to Jin. He nodded and took the file.

He opened the file and on the fifth place was a boy named Ron. He frowned. He heard this name before, somewhere.

He again turned the page to see the name to his three brothers ranking fourth, third and second, respectively.

Jin: how are my brothers at university?

He looked at the principal with his usual cold eyes.

Principal: they are good. Yeah it's true that sometimes they cause a fight but your brothers after all right?

Jin let out a small chuckle. The principal chuckled as well.

Jin: right my brothers

But he was a bit shocked cuz one of his brothers is always first but this time someone else is the first ranker.

He turned the page and saw y/n's name on it.

Jin: Y/n..?

Principal: she has always been our top student. She tops her class every year in both of the semesters.

Jin nodded.

Jin: call these students here

Principal: umm..Ron is absent and do you want me to call your brothers?

Jin: no it's fine I'll talk to my brothers at home just call the girl y/n

Principal: sure sir

......................

Y/n was in her class. Thankfully the teacher didn't punish her for coming late.

"May i have your attention pls"

They heard the principal speak through the speakers.

"Ms.Y/n you are kindly requested to come to my office as soon as possible i repeat Ms.Y/n you are kindly requested to come to my office. Thank you"

Y/n was confused.

She looked at the teacher for permission.

Teacher: you may go

Y/n nodded and went out of the class.

She walked towards the principal's cabin. She knocked.

"Come in"

She open the door and went in.

She saw the Principal and Jin sitting over there. She bowed.

Principal: pls have a seat

She nodded and sat on the chair that was beside Jin.

Jin: congratulations..

He forwarded his hand to her. She gave him a confused look.

Principal: you again rank first in our university this semester, Y/n

Y/n: oh..

She shook hands with Jin

Y/n: Thank you

Principal: A ceremony will be held this weekend and all top five students for our university will be given a certificate and a medal. I hope you join us there

She nodded

Principal: and you will be awarded by Mr.Jin

She looked at Jin and again nodded.

Jin(in mind): she really doesn't like to speak much just like Jungkook told me

Principal: here's your invitation

He forwarded her the invitation card. She took it from him.

Jin: hope you'll be there

She nodded

Principal: you can go now

She got up, bowed to them and left the cabin. 

Jin: I'll also leave

He said as he got up.

The principal bowed.

Jin left the cabin. As he walked towards his car he saw y/n looking for smth. He went towards her.

Jin: are you looking for smth?

She looked up when she heard his voice.

She nodded

Jin: I'll help tell me what is it

Y/n: no it's ok I'll find it

Jin: tell me what it is

Y/n: My pendent it's missing. It was really really precious to me

Jin: can you define it?

Y/n: it was a snowflake pendent

Jin widen his eyes. Ofc, he knew the pendent.

Jin(in mind): so she was the one who bumped into me

He then removed the pendent from his pocket.  

Jin: is it this?

She nodded

Y/n: yes this is the one

Jin gave it to her.

Jin: looks costly

Y/n: i don't know the cost and i don't even care what the cost is. I just know it's given to me by someone precious

Jin: if you don't mind may I ask who have this to you?

Y/n: just someone close who left..

Jin nodded understanding that she isn't really ready to open up to him. Ofc they met only one or two times. He understands.

Jin: fine then...

He unknowingly patted her head and went away.

Jin: why did i do that?

He asked himself as he sat in the car.

Driver: do what sir?

Jin: ah.. nothing.

Driver: shall we go home?

Jin: to the company

Driver: as you say, sir

The driver drove off to the company

Jin got off the car when they reached

Everyone bowed to him as he nodded

He went to his cabin and saw all six of his brothers over there

He frowned

Jin: What are you guys doing here? Weren't you in a meeting?

Jimin:  The meeting ended and we didn't have much work so we decided to wait for you in your cabin

The maknaes were also there in the company as Jin needed them for some work so he told them to take a holiday from the university

Jin: btw you three are invited for the medal ceremony this weekend

Tae: we knew we'll be in top five tho we joined the university late.

Namjoon: proud of you as always

He smiled

Jungkook: so who's first amongst us

Jin: no one

Hobi: on one? How's that possible?

Jin: someone else ranks first this time

Yoongi: unbelievable! Someone ahead of the Kims. Who is that?

Jin: someone whom you hate

He said to Yoongi

Yoongi: I hate?

Jin: Y/n..

He said as he walked to his chair and sat down.

Jungkook: woah! She's smarter than us

Jimin: true..

Jin: btw i saw smth very unexpected

Namjoon: what?

Jin: Yoongi remember the pendant you gave to Princess

Yoongi: Hyung you very well know i don't like this topic right

Jin: i know but i saw the same pendant

BTS x Jin: Where?

Jin: with y/n. She bumped into me and it fell off her neck i picked it up when i noticed it. She was looking for it so i had to give it back to her

Hobi: there can be many pendants like that right?

Jin: Yoongi remember what you told me. You said that the pendant is customised and is the one and only in this world and not just that she said someone precious gave her that pendant

Everyone looked at Yoongi who had an unreadable expression on his face

Jungkook: Yoongi hyung let's give it a try. Pls

Yoongi looked at his brothers and sighed

Yoongi: fine let's do a DNA test but....

Tae: but?

Yoongi: i want to meet her and see the pendant on my own

Jimin: you can come to our university then

Yoongi: not in your university, Jimin

Namjoon: then?

Jin: don't say basement I'll kill you. She's just a kid ok?

Yoongi chuckled

Yoongi:  i know i am not that heartless, hyung. You said she works at a café right?

He asked the maknae as they nodded

Yoongi: give me the address I'll meet her personally...........
