Fanfic doesn't me Haikyuu @INDREJALAM

Soon after chatting, they were told to leave the room again. The doctor from before walked into the room "Hello everyone" He said in a pretty cheerful attitude, a bit taken back from the amount of people they stuffed into that room "I hope you don't mind, but you will need to leave" call outs of dissatisfaction rang throughout the room.

"Don't worry, don't worry, you'll see them soon, next time maybe come in a.. smaller group" The doctor, Dr. Ito chuckled a bit" "Hai! everyone, say bye" Daichi instructed.

There were some cheerful goodbyes and some sad ones, some clung on for a bit too long, but soon they all left, except Dr. Ito, Natsu, Ukai and Takeda.

"You guys are staying?" Shouyou tilted his head "Well someone needs to be around Natsu" Takeda smiled, holding Natsu's hand. 

"And.. well" Ukai turned to the doc to take over "I need to ask a few questions" The doctors once very kind face turned serious.

"Y-yeah?" Shouyou smiled, but couldn't help but to tense under his gaze.

Takeda turned to Ukai "Can you bring Natsu outside? Handing Natsu's small hand to Ukai "Come on kid" He smiled a bit, leading her out the room.

Takeda made his way next to Shouyou holding his hand, Shouyou looked up confused, but didn't ask.

"When checking your injuries we came across a specific one, on your thigh?" Shouyou's smile dropped into a smaller, more shocked one.

It was clear on what he's getting at, Ito's stare really does say it all.

"A-ah" He looked down then back up "You see I-" Shouyou was going to lie, it was for the best right? and the easiest way out, he was going to lie, until he looked at Takeda.

Sitting next to him, his face was soft, but it seemed stern at the same time.

"I.." He bit the inside of his bottom lip and sighed, looking back down again "I did that" 

He felt Takeda's grip on his hand stiffen "I see.. hav-" Dr. Ito tried to proceed, until Shouyou butted in "B-BUT- but it was only one time I promise!" The doctor already probably knew that, but he still looked back and forth at the two adults.

"Mhm.. Have you ever thought of doing it again?" The doctor asked "We..well maybe, but I never acted on it!" They both had a skeptical look on their faces "I promise! .. Why would I hurt myself again.. It'd hurt Natsu more if she knew! Plus I already got hurt enough" He gave a pretty sad chuckle as if he said some joke, later realizing that maybe his word choice wasn't the best. 

"man can't this end" He groaned in his thoughts.

Tanaka sat back into his bed, man he was bored as hell.

A 3 ish minutes ago Nurse Kana was taking care of him, before that he did a quick prayer for the people on the road near the hospital.

Now he was just sitting and thinking until he heard loud foot steps, like.. running?

The door flew open.

"YOU IDIOT WHAT DID YOU GET YOURSELF INTO NOOOWW" "AHHHHHH-"

After sitting Saeko down and explaining to her what happened she calmed down, a bit saddened "Shrimpy eh..? man I wouldn't have ever guessed that" She sat with her back hunched and her elbows on her knees.

"Mm.." Tanaka agreed, it was quiet for a second until Saeko spoke up again "Ahh, but I never knew my brother was a hero" She rubbed his head "Here I thought you were all bark and not bite! Hahaha!!" She mocked.

"Hah?! I'm so clearly all bite!" He yelled back "Oh really?" "Yeah really! remember I was younger and...-"

Done, finally done.

Shouyou sighed.

The doctor smiled once more "Thank you for talking with me" Shouyou just nodded "Get some rest and-" "Ah.. Actually can I see my mom?" The doctor's smile faltered "Your mom..? aahh.. I don't know.." "Please, only for a bit!" Shouyou put his head down and hands together in a pleading way "Only for a bit.. Take the IV with you" He looked at Takeda who nodded.

"I'll go with him" Takeda smiled.

She heard a knock at her door.

She would sit up, but what a bit too tiring for her.

The door slide open, she expected a nurse, doctor maybe.

Definitely not her son.

She stared in shock "Hi..Hinata?" She sat up a bit or a least tried to until grunting a bit in pain.

"Mom- don't sit up" Shouyou made his say next to her, Takeda following behind him, she weakly held onto his hands "Hinata.. I'm so glad to see you.." She smiled the best she can, crying a bit.

"Hinata?" Takeda thought, confused of the mother not using her sons first name.

She turned her eyes to Takeda "And.. and you are..?" She asked "Ah, i'm Ittetsu Takeda, your sons teacher" He bowed "Nice to meet you Ms. Hinata" "Thank you so.. so much for taking care.. of Hinata.." She smiled and waved her hand dismissively "And please.. call me Hinako" Takeda smiled a bit, nodding.

Shouyou spoke with his mother for a while, but something seemed strange, but at least the boy was happy..

..until

Hinako started shaking "M-mom?" Shouyou looked "Hinako-san are you-" Soon his mother started shaking violently, she was having a seizure.

"SOMEBODY? DOCTOR! IN HE..-" 

Shouyou stood up in shock.

Looking down at his mother.

It's loud again.

Really loud again.

I've been gone for so long i'm making more.

"Kid! move out the way!" A male nurse this time grabbed him by the shoulders, he was taken back from the look Shouyou was sporting.

is he losing it? yes.

"Oh shit.. Oi! kid-"

Takeda lightly smacked the nurses hand away and slightly bowed to him, he took Shouyou and his IV and pushed him out the room while yelling ensues.

"GET HER ON HER SIDE" 

"WHERES THE DOCTOR WE'RE LOSING HER"

"EVERYONE MOV..-"

Shouyou quietly sat in his room looking out a window, Takeda sat staring at the back of his head, mouth scrunched up in concern.

"... You know I heard there's meat buns around here" No reply ".. I'll go get us some..!" Takeda smiled even though Shouyou wasn't looking.

He closed the door behind him and let out a sigh "Teach?" Takeda looked up to see Ukai and Natsu "Takeda-senseiii, I wanna see Nii-Chan!!" Natsu whined "A-ahh.. you cant right now he's resting up" It wasn't technically a lie, Natsu huffed, but her attitude switched up and talked about her journey with Ukai.

He listened, but he really needs someone with Shou, Natsu might be too exhausting for Shouyou right now and he did say he'll go out for meat buns. 

He can leave Ukai with Shouyou, right?

"Say Natsu how about we go get some meat buns for everyone, yeah?" "YEAH!" Natsu cheered.

He took Natsu's hand and passed Ukai, before fully passing him he stopped a whispered "He just saw his mom in a very bad state please do something before we get back"

He continues to walk away from Ukai leaving him to help out Shouyou.

Ukai knocked before coming in "Hey pipsqueak" Shouyou's gaze was still out the window, Ukai sat in Takeda's original spot and sat a bit in silence not knowing what to do.

"..How are you feeling?" He dumbly asked "I'm doing ok" Shouyou responded pretty quickly.

Ukai let air out through his nose like the response was some joke "Kid, you don't need to lie" "I'm not lying" He responded again, this made Ukai's frown deepen.

"You're not fooling anyone with that, you know?" Ukai grunted "I'm not lying" "Kid-" Shouyou's head snapped towards Ukai "I'm just tired" Ukai straightened up a bit, Ukai isn't really good with words.

Shouyou's head turned back to the window and with that Ukai stood up, he made his way to Shouyou's bed and sat next to him.

Shouyou looked at the cause of the extra weight bringing down one side of the bed and before he could speak Ukai gently took his head and placed it on his shoulder like some weird hug.

He didn't say anything, neither of them did, and soon Shouyou relaxed into the hug. 

They sat there quietly, but that was all the comfort Shouyou really needed at that moment.

Fun fact, actually really sad fact, Shouyou's mother calls him Hinata because she named Natsu and the father named Shou, she refuses to call him by a name Daizō gave him.

the hinata thing use to be an error but now i put it into the story like a head cannon :D
