The classroom was buzzing with noise and chatting people. The students were anxiously waiting for their teacher to arrive. It was the day before they would take their final exam and graduate to become full on genin and everyone was ready. And this was no exception for a sleepy girl in the corner of the room.

        The classroom had become quite once Iruka-sensei had come in with a tied up Naruto Uzumaki. He had started lecturing Naruto and had gotten irritated.

 “Ok class be quiet!! Because Naruto you missed it EVERYONE has to review the transformation jutsu.” The entire class groaned and complained about having to review the jutsu even the girl who was asleep in the corner of the classroom, who had been woken up by all the yelling, was irritated.

 “hmm it's about time you wake up.” The girl's brother said annoyed.

 “Kinda hard to sleep through Iruka-sensei yelling.” The girl replied stifling a yawn. The boy replied with a ‘hnn’ and walked down to the front of the class with the girl following behind him.

 “All right first Sakura Haruno.” She had transformed into a copy of Iruka-sensei easily. The girl turned around hoping to gain attention from her crush but had failed miserably.

 “Good job Sakura Next up Hikari Uchiha.”  At the mention of the girl's name she looked up with a bored expression and had transformed into Iruka-sensei just as the girl before had done.

 “Good job Hikari, you may return to your seat. All right Naruto it's your turn now and no more of your stupid tricks is that clear!” Iruka-sensei shouted at the boy who was already getting complaints from his classmates because of his screw up.

 “ Yea, Yea whatever as if I care what you guys think!” He mumbled to himself performing a handsign though as predictable Naruto was screwing around again and had transformed into a half-naked women, causing Iruka falling back with a nose bleed and the female uchiha to roller her eyes in a less pleasing manner.

“Man what an idiot” she mumbled to herself In her seat.

After a while the bell had rung signaling the end of the end of the day. The students began to head home. The two Uchiha’s were walking home just like everyone else.

“Are you ready for tomorrow's exam sasuke?” The female Uchiha asked trying to break the silence that had developed between them, however it didn't exactly work because all she got was a grunt in return. She let out a sigh of irritation with her older brother and continued walking home and before she knew it they were at their house in their respective rooms.

Hikari's room was simple she had a bed, dresser, and a night stand and on the nightstand contained  two photo frames, one of her and her family consisting of her, sasuke, Itachi, Fugaku and Mikoto, and one of her and Shisui Uchiha, the person she considered her sensei and older brother. She smiled at the photos while climbing in bed to go to sleep.

The next morning was uneventful as she and sasuke usually woke up at separate times for early training and such. Not much is said between the two in the morning as they were walking to the academy to take their final exam to become genin ninjas. The two walked into the classroom taking their seats quietly. Sasuke sitting by himself and Hikari sitting next to her best friend Shikamaru with choji on the other side.

“Hey Hikari.” Shikamaru said lazily waving.

“Oh! Hey Hikari!” Choji quickly followed

“Sup guys, you're here early for a change Shikamaru.” The girl replied to the two boys

“Yea well you know my mom would be pissed if she found out I was late to my final exam.” The Nara replied to his friend annoyed. The girl just giggled in response knowing how true the Nara’s statement was.

Hikari had seen first hand how fierce the Nara’s mother was. One time they had stayed out too late training, well Hikari was training and Shikamaru was there sleeping, and when they got to Shikamaru’s house, let's just say Hikari never wants to be on the receiving end of her anger. A shiver went up Hikari’s spine just thinking about it.

“I WIN!” Was heard throughout the room. Hikari turned to see it being Ino and Sakura, Sasuke’s biggest fan girls. So they claimed.

“Oh boy here they go again” Hikari said rolling her eyes at them.

“I WON INOPIG!” The pinkette shouted at her ex-best friend.

“YEAH RIGHT BILLBOARD I CLEARLY WON!” The blond shouted clearly back. She spotted Hikari and walked over to her.

“ You saw that I clearly won that race right Hikari!” Sakura had quickly followed Ino seeing what she was doing.

“No I clearly did so I get to sit next to Sasuke!” The said girl sweated dropped and raised her hands in a surrender position.

“I didn't see anything.” The Uchiha claimed though the girls weren't done arguing. And at the mention of Sasuke had dragged his other fangirls in the argument.

“ Man being an Uchiha must suck.” Shikamaru said seeing all the drama surrounding the said boy.

“Umm hello you have one as a best friend.” Hikari said waving her hand frankly in front of said boys face. Annoyed that he forgot that she was sitting there. Shikamaru swatted her hand away annoyed.

“ Yea but you're not surrounded by that.” He said pointing to the blob of arguing fan girls.

“ You would pull me out if I was though right?” Hikari asked hopeful though she already knew the answer to that her best friend is many things lazy being the most dominant trait. A Hero however? That he is not.

“Pft of course not I won't deal with that mess it would be to troublesome.” Shikamaru said knowing his friend already knew his answer.

During that time everyone had quieted down though not because Iruka-sensei had walked in it was because Naruto and Sasuke were kissing! Hikari watched the scene in pure horror and utter shock not sure what to do. The boy next to her though bolted up laughing as hard as he could falling out of his seat even.

“ WHAT THE HECK NARUTO!” The Uchiha shouted slamming her hands on the desk. Though that was just as far as she got because all of the fan girls got to him for her.

Iruka chose that time to enter the classroom. He didn't even question a pummeled Naruto sitting next to Sakura and started class immediately.

“ Alright class today you will be taking the final exam to become genin ninjas! The jutsu will be shadow clones you have to make 4 successful shadow clones to pass.” Iruka finished holding up 4 fingers for emphasis.”So let's start Choji Akimichi is up first.”

“Good luck Choji!” The Uchiha cheered. The boy flashed a nervous smiled and left. After a while the girl grew tired and ended up taking a nap her name wasn't in till the end anyways and no one, not even Shikamaru, could miss their name being called by Iruka-sensei and before she knew it, it was her turn to go.

“ UCHIHA HIKARI!” Said girl got up heading to the exam room.

“All right Hikari perform 4 shadow clones and you pass.” Iruka said to the half asleep girl. Hikari performed the need hand signs and gathered the right amount of chakra and poof came 4 shadow clones looking just like Hikari.

“ Good job Hikari now come and get a head band you pass.” Iruka said smiling at her proudly. Hikari looked at the head band and grabbed one with a blue colour cloth ‘just like Shisui’s’ she thought walking out of the room waiting for her brother. After Sasuke had his headband they both headed home. However Hikari had snuck out to go to her special spot which was the last place she saw Shisui alive. She sat at the edge of a cliff looking over it with a sad smile plastered on her face.

“ Hey, Shisui guess what I passed my exam. I'm now a ninja, though I'm just a genin it's one step closer to being like you.” The girl stood up dusting herself off.

“ Anyways I thought I would tell you that I need to go before sasuke starts worrying over me till next time shisui.” Hikari then walked home and went to bed after that.

A/n- Hey guys so this is my first Naruto fan fiction I decided I was going to take a different route and put Hikari on her own team so were not following Naruto again because I'm sure we've all read a Naruto fan fiction like that out there some where were the main Oc gets placed on the same team as Naruto just so they have a story to write. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I just thought that would get old fast since we all know Naruto's story so here you go! This is Hikari's story Alone and I hope you guys Enjoy!
