Jenna, Amelia and Jeremy in the Gilbert kitchen sitting at the dining table. The older woman keeps a tight grasp on her niece's hand after being told all the secrets that has been kept from the two, including Anna's death.

"...I'm sorry for not telling you both the truth sooner. I wanted to tell you everything but Elena thought it was better for you both not to know. Not knowing was keeping you safe. Alaric agreed with her." Jeremy explains, keeping his downcast as he can't bear to look at the heartbroken look on his sister's face.

"Jeremy, Elena isn't an adult nor your guardian. It's me. I'm in charge in keeping you all safe. You're my kids. You're my responsibility. It's my job. She had no right to do any of that, same with Ric. And how have things worked out for them keeping all these secrets?" Jenna tells him a stern tone. "We'll deal with this in a couple of days. Until that day comes, say anything to Elena or anyone else."

He nods and picks up a box with holes he placed down next to his feet, putting it on the table and sliding it over to Amelia.

"Anna was going to tell you everything and was planning on giving this to you... I'm sorry, Lia." Jeremy tearfully apologizes and gets up from his seat, taking his leave.

"...Do you want me to open it?" Jenna asks as her niece makes no move to open the box.

Amelia not trusting her own voice, nods. Jenna lets of her hand and takes the lid off. She sighs and starts tearing up.

"Now I'm really wondering if she hated Sailor Moon after all."

Flashback

"We've finally completed the first season." Amelia smiles, turning to look at the annoyed Anna. "So what did you think? I was right, wasn't I? Of course I was right, it's one of the greatest animes of all-"

"It was stupid."

"See you-" Amelia's eyes widened and ends up dropping her bag of M&M's. "Wait... What did you just say...?"

"What did you just make me watch?" Anna gets up from the couch, glaring down at Amelia. "It's crazy that no one recognized them when they look exactly the same as Sailor Scouts!"

"Okay well I do admit that was unbelievable but-"

"What about Tuxedo Mask? This man uses a freaking rose to help take enemies out instead of having a sword? The man was a prince in his past life!" Anna continues to rant, grabbing one of the couch pillows.

"But it was a nice change from the women being damsel in distress, right?! For once it was the man's turn! Women can be heroes too!" Amelia gets up from the couch and puts her hands on her hips. "Can you not only look at its flaws?! Can't you see how amazing this show is?!"

"And when Sailor Moon gets to the final battle that she can't defeat Queen Berry-

"Beryl!"

"On her own?! Why did the power of friendship is what defeats the green bitch in the end?! Why couldn't it be Sailor Moon's fight in the end?! Can't she fight her own battles and not always rely her bitches?!" Anna throws the pillow at Amelia's face and stomps her way out the living room.

"Okay, I refuse to accept this! You're rewatching season one until you appreciate the characters, relationships and the plot before we start season two! And you owe me a new bag of M&M's!" Amelia shouts, chasing after her.

End of Flashback

Jenna slowly reaches in and takes out a black kitten wearing a silver collar with studded with different colored gemstones and in the front lies a gold crescent moon that has the name Luna on it. She puts her into Amelia's arms who lets out a sob.

"That sneaky wench! She definitely rewatched the first season behind my back! She loved it after all!" Amelia cries, holding Luna closer to her.

Jenna lets out a tearful laugh, gently moves her niece's head to her chest, and wraps her arms around the young girl.

Luna meows, cuddling further into her owner's chest.

"You didn't tell Amelia the whole truth about why you turned me." Caroline says to Katherine who just walked into the apartment. "You told me before she needed protection from someone. Who are you talking about and why didn't you tell her?"

"She doesn't need to know right now. I'll tell her when the time's right." Katherine says, moving to lie down on the couch.

"Well are you going to tell me? I need to know who I'm up against. But what doesn't make sense is that you pick a newbie vampire while you're over five-hundred years old. You must have other people as strong as you... Was I an easier target because I care about Amelia? Am I just a sacrificial lamb?" Caroline questions, staring down at Katherine.

The older vampire chuckles and looks at Caroline, amused.

"I guess there are brains in that pretty head of yours." She moves into a sitting position, crossing her legs. "Of course I have another vampire, not as old as me but I can rely on him. I also have a witch to back me up. The werewolf I have has a pack that will be useful. And you? You're the backup vampire in case things go south. Your love for Lia will be a big help... I'll do whatever it takes to protect her from Klaus."

This chapter was a little shorter and something I thought of over the holiday break. I kinda wanted to do something where they do sit down and talk before the big blow up with Elena. What did you think?

And I wanted to do a little more with Anna considering her friendship with Amelia was a last minute thing when I started the rewrite of this book. So I'm sorry if Anna is out of character because I really don't remember her too well or her relationship with Jeremy except the Ghost World episode.
