Alia stood next to Vader.... staring out into space, both were silent.

"The Emperor is gathering a mission for you," Vader spoke up.

"And I'm assuming you know what it'll be?" Alia asked.

"He has reason.... that an old Jedi Master is training a youngling on Kashyyyk, once he gives word.... you and I both will go," Vader replied.

"And do what? Kill an innocent child? I won't be apart if it!" Alia growled.

"No! We'll kill the Jedi Master!" Vader yelled.

"I-We can't!" Alia snapped.

"Growing soft already?" Vader asked.

"I will not kill anyone! I will not take innocent lives!" Alia yelled.

Alia grew angry.... this wasn't what she wanted, she couldn't kill innocent people.

"If you don't follow orders... then as I said before, I will go back to Tatooine and destroy whatever you are protecting," Vader said.

Alia snapped her head up towards Vader.

"And as I said before.... if you do, I will kill you!" Alia growled.

Vader took a step back.... seeing as what she said was true, and she meant every word.

"You said you wouldn't kill innocent lives.... what am I then?" Vader asked.

" A Sith lord," Alia growled.

"But before I wasn't," Vader said, taking a step closer to Alia.

"The man you were before died.... along time ago, there is no hope for you! At first I-I thought but now.... all I sense is darkness from you," Alia replied.

Alia turned to walk away... but Vader grabbed her, she pulled out her saber.... it was inches from Vader's neck.

"DON'T YOU EVER TOUCH ME!" Alia snapped.

She broke free from his grip and walked away....Vader stood there speechless.

"I've caused you so much pain," Vader whispered, just as Alia walked out.

Alia reached her sleeping chambers.... tears fell down her face.

"I don't have much belief.... but at least I have me," Alia cried.

Images of her and young Luke flooded her mind.... she fell to her knees.

"I've failed you all," Alia whispered.

Suddenly a familiar voice filled her mind..

"My apprentice.... sad you are, why?" Yoda asked.

"Master Yoda! It's so good to hear from you," Alia said.

"I sense that you've join the darkness," Yoda replied.

"Only to protect my children," Alia sighed.

"Brave you are.... always have, you've been," Yoda said.

"They are forcing me to kill innocent people.... I can't do it, what must I do?" Alia asked.

"Survive you must! Sad it will be...." Yoda said.

"Are you asking me to kill?" Alia asked.

"No. But you must survive! For those who are no longer with us.... and for those who are in hiding," Yoda replied.

"I feel like I may fail.... or worse end up dying," Alia sighed.

"Fear is the path to the dark side... you must remain pure, we all believe in you!" Yoda said.

Alia stood up.... her Master's voice, soon disappeared.

"I must survive!" Alia said.

Suddenly Vader walked in... Alia had her back turned to him.

"We must get going," Vader said.

Alia turned on her heels... but stopped, grabbing her helmet and quickly placed it on.

"Fool me once... fool me twice," Alia whispered.

"What was that?" Vader asked.

"Nothing, let's go! I want to get this over with," Alia said.
