Alia stared up at the ceiling... numb from the neck down, unable to move. She closed her eyes.... and felt all of her Jedi friends calling to her.

"It's okay, join us... become one with the force," They all said.

"Not yet," Alia mumbled.

"The twins will be just fine! They know how to survive.... come home," A familiar voice replied.

Alia smiled lightly.

"Master Qui Gon," Alia whispered.

Alia could feel herself letting go, but she quickly fought it off.

"No not yet! I need to say goodbye," Alia mumbled.

She opened her eyes turning to look over at Luke, who was standing over her.... tears filled his eyes not wanting to lost his mother again.

"Mom! Come on... get up!" Luke begged.

"Luke? Honey.... it's time for me to go," Alia sighed.

"Go? Go where?" Luke asked.

"She's joining the force," A voice spoke up.

Suddenly Vader crawled towards them, placing Alia's head in his lap.... and gently started running his fingers threw her hair.

"She's dying?" Luke asked.

"No. Dying is when you are gone forever... becoming one with the force is where you become part of the force," Alia smiled.

"I-I just got you back," Luke cried.

"Even when I'm gone.... I'll always be with you," Alia said, placing her hand on his cheek.

"What about Leia?" Luke asked, wiping away his tears.

"She'll understand! I stayed here for you both... but now I must go," Alia smiled.

Alia closed her eyes and slowly grabbed Vader's hand.... gently squeezing it, she opened them again and looked at him... wishing she was able to see his eyes.

"Ani? I have always loved you, even after you joined the dark side... and I am so very thankful of you for making me a mother and my only regret is that you didn't get to raise them with me," She mumbled.

Vader couldn't speak being numb from her words.

And with that Alia Skywalker became one with the force.... walking into the bright blue light.
