Hello! This is my Dream a Novel (DANM) writing project for the month of November. My goal is to hit 50k words by the end of the month, probably a little over halfway through the book. Since I'm fast drafting, the first few chapters you see will be completely unedited, not even proofread so if you see any typos or have more general feedback on how the story is constructed, please let me know! Always love to hear your thoughts :)

This is loosely based on The Ugly Duckling (when I say loose, take it to be just bare bones basic inspiration and I went crazy with whatever I wanted after that). This will end up being a dark fantasy story, edging on horror (but I may need to let readers be the judge of that - not sure if it's quite horror-esque enough in draft one).

Some quick warnings: verbal mistreatment, terminal illness, and some violent scenes

This list may need to be updated and changed later though since I'm just starting out.

Day one is almost done, and I have two chapters! It feels good to be able to put them both in the scheduler at the same time.
