I hang up the phone before leaving the room and leaving UA, heading to my house. Fuyumi should be there, of course the paper in my phone catches my eye as I drive, Should I? Toya did say that I should help Rei before working things out with the twins.

I run my hand through my hair, I don't know anything about my own wife anymore, never the less my own children. Hell I know more about Hawks than my own children, considering I don't even know his real name that says a lot.

I arrive at the house and I go in and change into something more casual, T-shirt and jeans should do, right?

"Oh hi Dad." Fuyumi smiles as I re-enter the living room "I didn't think you would be home this early."

"I just needed to change out of my costume." I state, normally I would change at my agency, but here is easier right now. "Okay Dad." she says and I leave the house, stopping at a small flower shop on my way over.

Time Skip

I walk into the hospital, a lot of the doctors and nurses surprised to see me; I would be too.

"Mr. Todoroki" one of the doctors walk up to me "I'm Dr. Suzuki, you're here to see your wife I assume."

"Yes." I reply, following the doctor. "Well the good news is that she is getting better mentally." I am told, "So I've heard. Toya told me that you wanted to see if she could handle seeing me." I say. The doctor nods "Yes, we weren't to sure before if it would be a good idea but with your eldest showing up and Mrs. Todoroki handling him we became less hesitant. Especially since he is a spitting image of you. 

"From what Hawks said, your eldest had some things to sort out before he could visit otherwise he would've been here sooner."

"Hawks?" I ask that brat was here with Toya. The doctor nods in confirmation before going on about how much Rei improved, up until we reached her room. "I'll be out here in case anything goes wrong." the doctor smiles. 

I let out a sigh before knocking on the door, "Come in." she says, her voice sounding beautiful after all these years. I open the door, "Honestly Toya, you don't need to kno-" Rei starts to say before I had fully opened the door. "Rei, I-" words fail me, "Enji." she gives me a warm smile, one that I do not deserve after what had happened.

I let out a sigh "You still like Rindous right?" I ask offering up the flowers that I have bought.

"Yes I do." she answers before saying that I don't need to stand and to take a seat.

"Rei, I messed up." I admit looking at the ground from my seat. "Enji, we all make mistakes." Rei says "The past is in the past."

"Not just then but today too."

Time skip

"Seriously, a dinner tonight?" I sigh at the text I got from Hawks. But from what the message said, family can come too. Rei can't come and I'm not sure if the kids will come, Azula can't since I haven't gotten word that she has awoken from her coma. 

"Endeavor!" an overly cheerful voice calls "Did you get my text?" Hawks asks, landing beside me on the roof of my agency. "Yes I did, don't you have someone else you can annoy?" I don't want to deal with anyone cheerful at the moment. "My roommate is with his family at the moment." he shrugs "Want some chicken?" I glance over at him with an eyebrow raised. Normally I would decline, know what, fuck it, "Hand me a drumstick." I say.

Cue his overly dramatic stumble back as he clutch his heart "Either I'm dead or you have a fever. Hawks says before handing me a drumstick. I roll my eyes, I swear part of the time I mistake him as one of my own children; cheerful like Fuyumi, flirtatious like Natsuo, but the makings and determination of a good hero like Toya and Azula...

"Something on your mind?" Hawks asks. "I'm fine." I state, taking a bite of the chicken.

Bit longer, I'm working on the length the further I get. My goal is an average of a thousand words and a more consistent update schedule. Also it will be a bit before Chapter four is out, just to warn you!
