Chapter 21
Izuku's POV~
I have absolutely no sense of time since getting here. It's dark all the time, except when my father comes down to 'train' me, which is at completely random times. I'm pretty sure he did it on purpose so that I wouldn't know how long I've been in this basement. Asui and her sister are gone. I don't know what happened to them, I just woke up and they weren't there anymore. I assume my father moved them somewhere else.
There isn't much to do. I usually just try to sleep, but when I can't I'll tap my index finger on my wrist to the beat of my heart, just to remind myself that I'm actually alive and still breathing. I can't even tell you the number of hours I've spent just thinking about my mates and friends back in Japan. I must have day dreamed up at least a dozen or so different days. They were all call and normal, just all of us going to class and living like we used to before I moved. It's pretty pathetic, but it's all I've got down here now that Asui and her sister are gone.
I was tapping to my heart beat, when my father bursts through the door at the top of the steps and ran down the stairs. I quickly sat up on my knees with my head facing down, the way I was taught to sit anytime someone of higher rank, more so alphas than betas, enter a room. He quickly made his way to me, bringing a small handheld lamp with him. He undid the chains from my wrists and the wall. I was puzzled by his actions, but then I thought 'the alphas probably here to get me'. My father strapped a collar around my neck and attached it to what I assumed to be a leash. Great, I'm a flipping dog.
He hadn't said anything this whole time, and I don't think he was going to. He led me upstairs, dragging me a little in the beginning. Can you blame me though? I haven't used most of my muscles in days, let alone tried to walk. Once we were in our living room, I was able to figure out that it was pretty late at night. It was dark in the house, but thanks to all the windows on the first floor, I was able to see that the moon was high in the sky.
I was lead through our house, up the stairs and into my room. "There's not a lot of time. I have to get you to the meeting spot." My father was mumbling while looking around my room. I had no idea what he was looking for, but he seemed to have given up on it. "Wait here. Don't move a muscle or you'll receive a punishment." He growled at me. I whimpered and sank to the floor with my head bowed. "Good boy." He said with a pleased tone, before walking out of my old room.
I looked around my, now pretty trashed, room. What happened to me? I came here with specific plans to get through high school and then get back to my mates. I actually had these things called free will and dignity. I'm not sure what happened to them, seeing as I'm frozen on my bedroom floor with a mother fudging dog collar on. It's truly pathetic. Why would my mates even want me? I'm better off just going with that other alpha and leaving them to be together. They have each other so it won't be too hard for them. I wonder if~
Something small and reflective caught my attention. My phone? I thought my dad took it off of my floor before he locked me away. Why is it here? I didn't question my good luck for to long, I mean it was long over due if you ask me, and quickly snatched the device. I hit the power button and was relieved to see that I still had seven percent left. That's enough to text my mates where I am.
I heard footsteps coming down the hall and had to shove my phone into the waistband of my pants. I couldn't let my father know that I had it, or I'd be dead. He walked into the room, grabbed the handle of my leash, and continued to drag me back down the stairs and out the door. He brought me to his car and pushed me inside, then drove off.
The drive was silent and I still had no idea where he was taking me or why. He said earlier he needed to get me to the meeting spot, so I'm pretty sure I'm about to go home with the other alpha. Anything is bound to be better than staying in that basement.
We drove for maybe twenty minutes before pulling up to an old looking building. It looked a lot like a warehouse, so I figured that's what it used to be. "Stay here, I'll be right back." My father ordered. I nodded back to him, but once he was out of sight, I pulled my phone out.
Dang it, only six percent now. I quickly opened up my messaging app, hitting the group chat of the entire class of 1-A.
Izuku
Guys, I need help. My father's brought me to some abandoned warehouse and he's planning on selling me to some alpha. Please help me.
It was the best I could do for right now. I saw my father walking back out of the building towards the car. I put my phone back in my pants before he could see it. He opened my door and walked me inside by the leash. "He's not here yet, so we're just gonna have to wait for him." He said.
The inside of the building was completely empty and the floor was just packed down dirt. He stopped once we were about half way into the open space. "Sit." Was all he said as I quickly dropped to sit on my knees. I kept my eyes trained on the dirty floor in front of me the whole time, the whole twenty or so minutes it took for anyone to show up.
The doors to the building flew open. I flinched at the noise but didn't look up. "Oh good, you guys finally made it. What took you so long?" My dad asked the new comers. From the amount of footsteps, it was a whole big group of people.
"It wasn't exactly our fault. You were the one who sprung this on us at midnight." An unfamiliar voice said. A few others grunted in agreement with the first man.
"So is the oh so special omega?" A new voice said, it sounded super familiar, but I couldn't place it. He walked right in front of me, his shoes were now in my line of sight.
"Yup." My father said to him. "Izuku, say hello to my friends." He said, directing it to me.
"H~hello." I said, still not looking up. The man walked even closer to me, and put one finger under my chin, angling my face to look at his.
Shinso?!
