Chapter 15
Izuku's POV~
"What's going on in here?"
My mom froze. I froze. He wasn't happy.
"Nothing honey, Izu was just looking for his phone." She said nervously. She's a terrible liar. She was basically trembling under his stare.
"I don't like to be lied to Inko." He growled. I, of course, whimpered. Jesus it wasn't even directed at me. "I heard the whole argument. Go upstairs Izuku, I'll deal with you later."He ordered.
"But I didn~"
"Yelling at your mother? Someone of higher rank? Yes, you did do something wrong. Now go upstairs, now." He was growling again. As much as I didn't want to leave my mom down here with him, I couldn't not listen to him. It was difficult enough to not run to my room.
I sat on my bed for what felt like hours, it may have even been hours, I was paying attention. Eventually he walked into my room. He was still pissed off, but he seemed oddly calm. He made his way about halfway to my bed before stopping. He motioned for me to come to him. I obeyed.
"I was supposed to hand you off in two days, but I fear you aren't ready. I'd hate to have an unsatisfied customer. That's why," he grabbed my hand and pulled handcuffs out of his back pocket, I tried to get away, but another growl stopped me dead in my tracks, "you're getting 'special training'." He said with a smirk. He dragged me out of my room and down the stairs. When we went passed the kitchen, I saw my mother laying on the ground, it looked like she was knocked out. I whined and thrashed more. He was unfazed and kept walking.
He stopped in front of a door I'd never noticed. He grabbed a key out and unlocked it. Behind it were stairs lead down to what I assumed was a basement. When I started to resist more, trying and failing, to use my quirk, he pushed me down the stairs. And boy was there a lot of them. I fell down them for a solid two minutes. I think I broke a rib. I definitely had a concussion.
I didn't bother getting up. There was no point. The only way out was the door and I'd have to go through my father. There was no way to get out.
He took his time walking down, reaching me, grabbing the chain that linked my cuffs and dragging me to a far wall. I was starting to fade out of consciousness, but I heard the clanking of chains. He must have rechained me to the wall. Once he was sure I couldn't escape, he went back up the stairs, slamming the door and locking it. I was left in complete darkness.
I passed out after a few minutes. I didn't dream at all, which was a little disappointing, but I guess it was good that I didn't have any nightmares, not that it could get much worse than the one I was living in.
I was literally kicked awake. I jerked awake when a strong force hit me in the stomach. I looked around, light was now in the small area, and saw my dad and another man, standing in front of me. "I thought I'd have him trained by now. Unfortunately, he's stubborn. I should have him perfected by next week." My father said to the other man. The stranger was wearing a black hoodie, and with all the shadows from the one light, I couldn't make out his face.
"My boss isn't going to be pleased with having to wait even longer. He's been waiting close to ten years for this one." The stranger said with a gruff voice. It sounded like he seriously needed some water.
My dad scowled before turning to the other man. "He's waited this long, another week won't kill him." He growled.
The stranger seemed slightly annoyed with being told to wait, but he said nothing more, just turning around and walking up the stairs to the door. My dad just sighed before following him. He forgot to take his light with him. Good news for me, I'll actually be able to check out my surroundings, maybe even figure out an escape plan.
I did a quick scan of the room. No windows or any other doors. There was a table off to the side, which a small lamp was sitting on, giving off light. There were chains attached to all four walls, and thin dirty blankets strewn about the small room. I thought I was the only person down there, until I saw something moving under one of the blankets.
A little girl, chain to the wall just like me, sat up. She had messy green hair and she was squinting at the light. I wonder when the last time she saw light was. When she spotted me, she froze.
"Um hi?" I said awkwardly. I mean, what was I supposed to say to her?
She didn't answer me, but she started to vigorously shake a lump right next to her. "Sissy, wake up! There's another person down here now!" She said.
The other lump slowly sat up, rubbing their eyes. "What?" They asked. Wait, I know that voice.
"Asui?"
