The next day, Everyone started to do their chores. Sujan came to hall for Coffee. Malar provided him coffee. 

Sujan- "Thanks, aththu enga?"

Malar- "inaiku singing competition irukulla, athuku tension ah prepare agitu irukaa"

Sujan chuckled and said, " oru valiah song select panitaalaa? "

Malar- "select panita, antha song ah approve panrathuku co-ordiantor kita kenjikitu irukaa"

Sujan- "Yen antha song la ethuvum lyrics problem ah?"

Malar- "illa, avar rehearsal la intha song padala.. ithula rhythm correct ah irukanum. illa sothappal thaan. aanalum ivaluku romba thaan thairiam, challenging aana song thaan edukura.. "

 Sujan- "ava chinna vaysulayae kathukita Malar, entha song sonalum just like that padiduva.. high pitch ellam casual ah eduppa.."

Malar- "hmm, ipo epadi iruku"

Sujan- "Fine. bayanthutiah?"

Malar- "light ah, thirumbavum vitutu poiduvio nu ellarukum bayama thaan irunthathu"

Sujan smirked and said - "poirupen, enna pudichu vaika yarum illama irunthiruntha.". There is a silence for a minute.

Malar- "Sid anna adichathum peria sanda varum nu thaan ninaichen. nee amaithiah irunthathu suthama naanga ethir pakatha oru visayam"

Sujan chuckled thinking about that. 

Malar- " Nijama unaku kovamae varalaya? "

Sujan- "unaku naan mariayatha koduthathe illa, first meeting la irunthu. athu unaku different ah theriutha?". Malar gave it a thought and widened her eyes. 

Sujan- "sila visayathuku uruvam koduka mudiathu Malar, unara thaan mudium."

They both smiled at each other understandingly. Malar felt an unknown happiness  in her heart.

Sujan left out a long breathe and said, "Namma manasukulla oru oorathula oru asai irukum Malar, thape panalum namma apppa amma namma pakam than irukanum nu. namala thaan support pananum nu. namala thaan avangaluku romba pudikanum nu.", his eyes brimmed with tears. 

Malar held his hand as a support. Malar just hummed and pressed her hand in his palm. 

Sujan- " amma voda anba aththuvum prajju-vum alla alla kuraima koduthanga. aana, appa voda anbum, kandipum enaku kidaichathulla. Nethu naan matikitapo marupadium oru peria thappu paniten nu thonuchu, ellaraium avamana paduthiten nu thonuchu. ithe mathiriye, oru naal ellar munnadium thappu panitu thala gunichu ninen Malar, appo en appa ena vitutu avar kudumbatha paka poitaru, en thala eluthe mariduchu.. ", He stopped unable to continue. 

Malar rubbed his palm gently in a way to give him a comfort.

Sujan- "nethum, apadi ethuvum nadakurathukulla odinanum nu thonuchu. Marupadium ellame muthalla irunthu arambicha mathiri irunthathu, bayama irunthathu. Enakaga police kita ellam kenjinaan, atha ennala ethukave mudiala, intha life um poga poguthu nu thonuchu. yaraium face panna mudiala, odidalam nu thonuchu. ", he chuckled a little. 

Sujan- " enna aranchappo avan enaku oru appa va than therinchaan. Ithu varaikum yarum eduthukatha urimaiah avan eduthukitaan. enaku solal theriala Malar, avankita adanga pudichu irunthathu. adangiten". , he ended not knowing what to say then. Malar giggled completely understanding him. 

Malar- "anna nu save panirunthiam mobile la"

Sujan- " prajju olaritana? avanuku ithe velai.. inaiku ava enna panrenu paaru ", he acted like getting angry and moved away from the place. Malar chuckled knowing his escaping intension. 

After a while, Everyone got ready and gathered to have breakfast. Pragyan and Athulya looked at each and then at Sujan often. 

Sujan- "ethuku rendu perum ippo ipadi mulikureenga? enna kekanum?", he asked them knowing their intensions. 

Pragyan- "office ku poitu olunga veetuku vanthiduvalla?"

Athulya- "Engaium odi poira matiae". Malar giggled loudly and Siddhik chuckled silently. 

Sujan looked at Siddhik at his corner of his eyes and said, "enga oda viteenga? pudichu vachuttu kelvi vera..", he said in an annoyed tone actingly.

Siddhik- "odanum nu asai iruntha kalaila oru thadava, saintharam oru thadava veeta suthi oda vendiathu thane.. yaar thaduthanga", he stated looking at Sujan. 

Sujan looked at him once and then continued eating. Pragyan and Athulya giggled. Sujan smiled at the corner of his lips. 

Siddhik- "Athulya, unaku snacks vachiruken. Competition epo mudium nu theriathu, naduvula pasikum vachuko", he took his plate and went. 

Athulya- "Naan paaduratha paaka nee vara matiah Siddhu?". She too followed him asking him with expectation.

Siddhik- "enaku class illaina varen"

Pragyan- "namba mudia villai, villai, villai", he muttered in a low voice in the dinning table, so that only Sujan and Malar will hear him. Malar giggled. Athulya and Siddhik conversation is clearly heard by everyone. They are talking in the normal tone.

Athulya- "Siddhu please, nee yarkitayachum un class ah change pani vidu. naan padum pothu nee kandippa irukanum"

Sujan- "iva solalaina change panna theriathu paaru avanuku", he too muttered in a low voice like giving comment to their conversation. Malar and Pragyan giggled.

Siddhik- "Nee eppo paduva nu theriama naan epadi maathurathu?", He asked her hiding his teasing. 

Athulya- "naan text panren. nee varanum. nee matum varalaina apuram paathuko.. "

Pragyan- "anna enna sonalum iva nambuva pola, green manna iruka daa.", he teased them joining with Sujan. 

Siddhik- "enna panuva?"

Athulya- "naan yen atha pathi yosikuren. nee vanthiduva.. please Siddhu vaa. "

Siddhik left out a breathe and said, "sari time ah text pannu, varen"

Sujan- "ithu ellam ulaga maga nadipu daa samy", he teased and finished eating. 

They all dispersed after breakfast and started to their office and college.

In college, All people are hurriedly moving here and there for making arrangement for the functions. They invited the singers as special judges for this function and competition. Everyone are assembled in the auditorium. Siddhik came there knowing Athulya will be tensed a lot. 

Siddhik- "Athulya.. ". She turned to him. 

Athulya- "vanthutiah Siddhu. singers a special judges ah kooptrukanga pa. enaku romba bayama iruku. sothapita enna panrathu"

Siddhik- "nee onum avangalukaga pada vendam. unakaga paadu. song ah feel pani paadu. avangalum un paata keka inga vanthirukanganu ninachuko avlo thaan. sariah"

She just nodded at him with a smile thinking that, "amam Siddhu, naan avangalukaga padala. unakaga than pada poren. una feel pani thaan pada poren". She smiled and he left.

Singing competition started. Some people before her went to the stage and sung in a perfect way. Athulya didn't worried about that, even she didn't wish to win the competition. She just wish to dedicate the song to him. Her only motto is dedicating song to her husband. Her turn came, She too came to the stage. 

But unexpectedly the power connections for the musical instruments got disturbed. The power supply got cut. The organizer team rushed there and try to solve the issue. The crowd got panic and they started to murmur. There is a anxiety in the environment. Athulya is waiting in the stage with a mic. Judges discussed between themselves. They have separate connection for the mike and it is working.

Judge 2- "Silence please"

Judge 1- "Unala music illama paada mudiuma?". Athulya looked at them and blinked. 

Judge 2- "inga paaru ma, power fault naala una reject panna enagaluku virupam illa. if you still want to participate then please sing. We wont mind the music"

Judge 3- "Chance is common for everyone. It is your choice to pick it up"

Athulya looked at Siddhik. He is looking at her calmly with a smile in his lips. He blinked his eyes with a nod. Athulya took a deep breathe, smiled and started to sing closing her eyes.

There is a silence in the crowd, a pin drop silence due to her unique voice.

Judge1 - "her voice is unique and clear". Athulya opened her eyes and looked at them.

Judge 2- "yeah, you continue.."

Athulya smiled, looked at Siddhik and continued singing without any music.

She perfectly sung each and every minute detail in the song.

The whole crowd looked at her like a WOW.

The power connection got recovered and supported her in the last line. The whole crowd was mesmeroised by her voice and chorused as " Chinnanjiru chinnanjiru ragasiyamae,  Chinnanjiru chinnanjiru ragasiyamae " for her.

They all clapped hands and it last for a minute. Siddhik leaned on the wall, folding his hands and enjoying her song with a smile in his face.

Judge 3- "it is soulful, you sung beautiful" 

Judge 1- "apadiye thaen vanthu payuthu padum pothu,.. notes ellam perfect ah iruku... ippo connections correct agiducha?"

Organizer- "yes Mam"

Judge 2- "good, appo ipo music oda padunga"

Judge 2- "haan, athe song vendam, vera song padunga.. other than classical". Athulya blinked at them once.

Judge 1- "amam, any other love songs."

Athulya- "but love songs ellam ", she looked at the organizer.

Judge 2- "Oh, pada koodatha, ithu enga request pa. ". Organizer nodded at Athulya with a giggling, granting her the permission. 

Judge 3- "so ipo, no rules or restrictions. it is purely your choice. Sing another song for us. A song for us to enjoy your voice."

Athulya gave a naughty looked at Siddhik and started to sing, 

Heyy I like you 

Siddhik was shocked to the core. Only they know that the word 'i like you' has a very different meaning to them. The music joined her.

He widened his shining eyes and looked at her soulfully.  She was constantly looking at Siddhik.  Siddhik then looked at her intensely, folded his hands with a crossed legs.

Un razor paayum kannai (Athulya shortened her eyes cutely)

Rome cezar pondru tholai (Athulya looked at him from top to bottom)

Nenjai urasum nenjai (Athulya looked at his folded hands which is hiding her chest.)

Siddhik understood that she meant each word. Each word is dedicated to him. Each word meaning is meant to him. 

Thidum thidum Ena en nenjil (She pressed her hand in her chest moving her upper body back a little like dance move.) 
Kadam kadam vandhu Vaasikiraai (She shook her head as affirmative then waved her head. )
Idam valam thottu Ennai imsikiraai (She acted like getting annoyed  while waving her hand and resting her fingers in head while shaking her head.. Siddhik automatically smiled unable to hide it. )

Atho atho Antha punnagaiyaal (Athulya just eyed his smile. Siddhik chuckled with smiling eyes.)
Satha satha ennai saagadithaai (Athulya stomped her feet a little. Siddhik rubbed his nape.)
Aiyo aiyo en penmaisodhikiraai ( Athulya gave a complained to him about him.)

The music then played. Athulya still looking at Siddhik and Siddhik too looked at her. The crowd looked at both and shouted a little when the music played. The crowd chorused the below lines after understanding that Athulya is dedicating it to Siddhik since Siddhik is the Sir whom they like,

Siddhik looked at the crowd when they chorused with a smile. Even the judges are enjoying along with the crowd and making mild moves in the siting position itself.  

Parthavudan Uyir udaidhuvittai I like you ...I like u 

Athulya clicked 'sodakku' with her fingers according the music and blushed a little looking at Siddhik. Siddhik giggled and tried hard to control his blush. 

Paarvaigalal ennai thugilurithai I like you... I like u 

Athulya looked at him with a head shake and winked at him within a second. Siddhik rubbed his right eyebrow with a middle finger.

Putham putham Puthu udhadugalai (Athulya looked at his lips. He automatically bite it.)
Kuthum kuthum Un meesai ennai (Athulya touched her chin. Siddhik fisted his hands to control himself )
Aiyo aiyo I like u..... I like u (She acted like placing garland in his shoulders. Siddhik smiled understanding her act.)

Aanpuyalae unnai thurathi Vanthen I like you ....I like u

Athulya cycled her hands like running towards him and within a second she actioned like locking the door before changing her position. Siddhik giggled and understood that she is mentioning about the incident that happened a day before their marriage. She ran to his room, locked the room and gave him a get caught look. 

Alatchiyamai ennai kalativittai I like you.... I like u

She acted like pouting  a little and gave him a disappointing look. Siddhik adjusted his head hairs back side understanding the complete meaning of her act. 

The crowd too danced with her. They paired up themselves and danced according to the beats.

Yenakaana uyaram nee Like you... I like you

She extended her hands and pointed him. Siddhik was shocked to the core, he didn't expected this move. Not at all. 

Yenakaana perum theeni nee Like u ...I like u

She pointed herself now and pressed her chest a little. Siddhik mouthed a "O" shape and blow air rubbing his chest. His eyes moved here and there checking whether any one noticed this. He understood that whole crowd noticed them. 

Enda yosikarai ( Athulya didn't gave any dance moves for this, she just looked at him. )
Unakaana pennae naan thanada ( Siddhik closed his eyes once. )

Uyiroda ennai nee thinnada (Siddhik looked at her biting his lips.)

Judge 2 signaled her to dance. Judge 1 to encouraged her to dance. 

Thidum thidum Ena en nenjil

She repeated the same step and danced a little. She pressed her hand in her chest moving her upper body back a little like dance move. She shook her head as affirmative then waved her head. She acted like getting annoyed while waving her hand and resting her fingers in head while shaking her head.. Siddhik automatically smiled unable to hide it.

The crowd turned towards Siddhik and chorused,

Ye ye ye yeeah......

Siddhik didn't the expect the students to encourage her. Now they turned towards him and teasing him while chorusing. Students are literally enjoying this situation and happily teased him. They danced along with the music too. Siddhik wiped his face. 

Kaangalilae oru Sinam valarthai (Athulya shortened her eyes cutely)
I like you... I like u (Athulya form a heart with his hands. Siddhik rubbed his brows. )
Ennai kanavugalil Vanthu anubavithai (Athulya clubbed his hands as promising manner.)
I like you.... I like u (Siddhik understood that she is giving confirmation about her dreams. )

Athulya touched her thighs and shake hands as dance step. Siddhik chuckled. 

Udal thodum Un udai azhagai 
Athulya shake her dress a little with hands as dance step. Siddhik automatically adjusted his shirt. 

Aiyo aiyo I like you.... I like u 
Athulya stomped her feet a little and cooed him. Siddhik struggled to breathe when she cooed him in front of everyone.

Vhirumbi vanthaal Mella vilagi selvai I like you.... I like u

Athulya acted like she followed an imaginary person. Siddhik understood that she meant following him everywhere. Siddhik chuckled and adjusted his hair to control himself from blushing. 

Thirumbi kondu Mella chirithu kolvai I like you...I like you

Athulya turned a little, folded her hand, leaned back and shake her shoulders with a smile imitating him a little. Siddhik rubbed his head like adjusting his hairs with a smiling face understanding her atrocities. 

Manu pottaal varamaattai Like you... I like you

Athulya folded her hands, pouted in the stage and gave a heart symbol with a pout itself. 

Pasikamal thoda maattaai Like you... I like you

She closed her half part of the blushing face with single hand. The chorus shouted in joy. 

Siddhik winked and gave a flying kiss to her, when no one noticed it. Athulya stopped abruptly. The music too stopped within seconds. 

Judge 1- "What happened?"

Judge 2- " why you stopped.. "

Siddhik giggled. Athulya continued but again told the same first stanza instead of the final one. She forgot the lyrics because of Siddhik.

Athulya repeated the same step for the lyrics and danced a little. The whole crowd formed a group and danced the step that is followed in the song.

Athulya finished the song. Judges came to the stage whereas the crowd clapped for minutes. Judges hugged her one by one. Athulya hugged them in return but slowly looked at Siddhik too. Siddhik clapped for her. 

Judge 1- "yen unaku bangalore thakkali pudiakaatha?"

Athulya- "illa mam pudikum"

Judge 2 _"enga ooru thakkalium nalla than irukum. ethuku skip panna?"

Athulya- "illa mam athu vanthu.. "

Judge 3 - "Maranthu pocha?"

Athulya- "amam maam.", She smiled sheepishly.  Judges laughed at her cuteness. 

Judge 1- "romba nalla padina.."

Judge 2- "pattu matuma? you acted, you danced.. it is a complete package. "

Judge 3- "Yeah, you entertained everyone too. Oru concert attend pana mathiri irunthathu. You did so well. TV show patha mathiri irunthathu. Vijay TV la try pannu kandipa chance kidaikum."

Other Judges laughed. 

Judge 1- "oru vibe kondu vanthuta.. ipo ellam konjam palaya paata marupadium trend panranga illa"

Judge 2- "amam, ipo intha recording ah snaps ah release panna intha paatu kooda again trend agalam"

Judge 3- "yeah chance iruku, intha ponnu avlo alaga vetka paata, expressions kodutha. amam, intha song yaruku padina enaku thane?".

Judge 1- "Ava yen unaku dedicate panna pora? ithu enkaga padina paatu. i gave her the chance". Athulya looked at them with horror expression.

Judge 2- "But naan than request pani permission vangi koduthen. This song is for me"

Athulya just blinked at them not knowing what to say. She had a plan to dedicate this to Siddhik. But now everything turned in a different way.  She looked at Siddhik who is laughing by closing his mouth with his hands. His whole body is shaking. 

Judge 2- "neeyae sollu ithu song yaruku?"

Athulya just blinked at the judges once. She looked down once and then looked at Siddhik. She gave him a pitiful look. But he winked and mouthed her a kiss. Athulya widened her eyes in shock. 

Judge 3- "Bayapadatha ma, nanga yaruku intha song dedicate panranu kekala. all the best da kanna". They shake hands. 

Athulya then got down from the stage not knowing how to react. She joined the students who finished the participation in singing competition.

Athulya mind voice- "kadavule, en plan ah mattum yen epavume sothapura.. unaku vera velaiye illa?"

After a while, they distributed prizes. Athulya got the first prize. The clapping sound lasted for some minutes. Athulya saw Siddhik clapping for her raising his hand over his head happily and whole heartedly. She smiled at him.
