A still very stunned Camryn walked to her usual spot, but instead of sitting on the bench, she decided to look at the tree. The tree that had been therr for as long as she could remember. The tree Leonie cried next to.

Engraved near the middle of the trunk, were the initials 'L+C.'

"Nature's fascinating, isn't it?", asked Eli, startling Camryn. "Oh! I'm sorry. Are you planning on drawing this tree?"

Camryn turned to face Eli. "Um, no. Not really."

Eli nodded. "Oh."

The pair stayed in silence for a moment. "Did you find out what your role was?"

Camryn nodded. "I got Olivia."

Eli's eyes widened. "That's fantastic! I knew you'd get a main role. Congratulations!"

Camryn gave him a small smile. "Thanks, Eli. Have you checked what role you've got yet?"

Eli nodded, a smile appearing on his face. "I got Charlie. But more importantly, I got a dancing role too."

"Woah, that's great! Congrats Eli."

Eli grinned. "My parents will be so happy. It took them a while to get used to me liking Theatre but it paid off."

Camryn nodded. "Well atleast you can celebrate with them today."

"My Dad's been deployed, well he's going to be, so we've only got a couple of months left with him. I wish he could see the show", said Eli.

"You can video call him, right? When he's on a break from his army duties. Or send a quick video of you in a rehearsal", suggested Camryn.

Eli nodded. "I hadn't thought of that. What would I do without you?"

"Well, you still have Darius", said Camryn.

Eli chuckled. "Please, let's not even entertain that idea. He's a great guy but he'd drive me insane."

Stanley scanned the list for his name, not feeling very hopeful. "Darius I don't know about this, man. My audition was so bad."

"That's what you think. Miss Laine will have thought what I've always known is true. You, buddy, are a star. You don't drink water, you drink liquid talent."

Stanley shook his head at his best friend's goofiness, though he couldn't help but chuckle. Taking a deep breath, Stanley searched the list once again, pausing when he saw his name.

Stanley Cameron Evans           Ray/ Dancer

"I got a dance role and I get to play Ray", said Stanley, in disbelief.

Darius gasped and his eyes widened. He looked like he had just been given a year's supply of sweets. "I told you!", he exclaimed. He wrapped an arm around Stanley and guided him down the corridors. "He's only gone and got himself two roles!"

Stanley grinned. "Oh! I have to text my Dad and Liam!"

There is one more of these reaction chapters left before the group unites, I think.

I know it's quite slow and might seem boring but I just want to set the scene for the Book.
