Chapter 59- Going Wrong (Part 2)
CAMRYN'S P.O.V
Years ago, long before my parents were born, their was a gang called the Gonzales'. They were the main supplier of dr*gs in my parents' neighbourhood. My Dad's Dad was in the gang so it became my father's legacy.
Fast forward a few years and you have my parents getting together. It wasn't love that joined them together- it was dr*gs.
Nico came from one of Mum's previous relationships. I was the one that wasn't planned.
Nico's Dad was also a dr*g dealer, and Nico was forced into that lifestyle. He found a way out though. His Dad wasn't happy about that.
Whilst his Dad bounced in and out of jail, Nico went into care with me, but we were both separated.
The skate park has a special meaning to me because whenever we were separated, we'd always go there- to find each other.
Last I heard, Nico's Dad is in jail after someone tipped the Police off about his dr*g dealing.
So yeah. That's my family. I've been let down by a lot of people- but not Nico.
My phone vibrated with a message from Nico.
Nico: There's a package coming for me some time this week. Sorry I forgot to tell u. Stay home for a bit pls. Isaac can stay if he wants.
"I have to go", I said. "Nico's expecting a package. I'll come back soon."
Isaac nodded. "If you get bored I can send you Kermit Memes."
"Send it in the chat we have with Eli. I'm trying to get him into different memes."
Isaac laughed. "Sure."
- ISAAC'S P.O.V
It's been 3 hours since Camryn left and honestly, I feel really lonely. My parents have booked a hotel for a rare date night.
I haven't told anyone this but I go to the Park when I need to clear my head. Or just relax.
The Park is just the best place. It reminds me of my childhood.
Ok, I don't know why I'm acting like I'm 50. I just have really good memories at the Park, that's all.
I swung around in the orange swing. No one uses the old swing but me. I don't mind that though. If I'm the swing's only friend then I'll be the best friend ever.
"What are you doing out here alone, little man?", asked a man.
That creepy man from earlier!
"J-Just waiting for a friend", I lied.
"I heard about your sister", said the man. "It's awful."
"I'm sorry?"
"Cancer is a b*stard", he said.
My eyes widened. "H-How did you know?"
"I hear things", said the man. "I lost my wife 2 years ago to cancer. Worst pain I've ever felt."
"How did you get through it?", asked Isaac.
"I found a family", said the man.
"Oh, well I already have a family. They're great. And I'm in a Club at school so... I've got plenty of support."
"It's not stable though, is it?", asked the man. "I bet your friends are fighting and your parents don't fully understand your passion."
I was taken aback. How did he know? A small part of me was scared, but another part of me felt like this man understood me.
Truthfully, I never felt that with anyone else. I didn't know any kids who had a sibling with cancer.
And as much as I loved Camryn's friendship, and the Theatre Club members, I never felt like they understood me.
We talked for a while, mainly about his wife. I told him how I wanted new tap shoes, but didn't want to bother my parents.
"How much would tap shoes cost anyway?", he asked.
I shrugged. "Around £80? They're pretty expensive."
The man rummaged through his pockets and produced £80!
He held it out to me. "Take it."
I shook my head. "N-No, I can't! It's too much and... I don't know you."
"I'd say we got to know each other pretty well", said the man. "Aside from names."
"Uh..."
"It's ok, I understand the need for privacy. Tell you what, why don't you just give me a fake name?"
I nodded. "Eli."
The man grinned. "It was a pleasure to meet you... Eli. I'm fairly sure you're harmless so I'll tell you my real name."
"If you're sure."
"Ernesto."

KENNEDY'S P.O.V
I have 3 younger siblings and 2 older ones.
My older siblings left for Uni, or to travel the world.
I don't here from them. I looked up to them and they were always there when I needed them most.
Truth is, I don't think I'm strong enough to face life on my own.
That's why I got mad at Leonie. For leaving me. When I met her, I knew she'd be one more person I'd feel protective of. But when she started looking out for me? Well... it felt nice to have someone in my corner.
I don't want to lose her.
But I guess I already have.
"Kennedy, are you going to drink that?", asked Maxon, pointing to my hot chocolate.
I nodded and reached for it, jumping when it knocked over. I screamed from the heat. "No, stop it!"
Maxon leapt up and grabbed some tissues, covering the hot chocolate puddle. I looked down at my hand and saw that only a few droplets touched me.
"Kennedy what's wrong?", asked a concerned Maxon.
"I..s-sorry. I panicked. I thought of the fire", I said, staring at the tissues on the table.
Maxon wrapped me in a hug, careful not to suffocate me. "Kens... it's ok. It's over."
I shook my head. "I don't think it ever will be."

Hi.
Also, I can see most comments but am having trouble replying to some.
What are your thoughts on Camryn's past?
Poor Kennedy... she's understandably still suffering from the fire ordeal. It's good that she has Maxon though!
What are your thoughts on this chapter?
