At the zoo, Amity was laying new hay in the giraffe enclosure, before moving to give them their breakfast.

"Here you go, guys. Fresh feed for you." Amity said with a smile.

A giraffe reached their heads down and licked Amity, making her laugh.

"Stop, that tickles!"

They didn't stop licking and Amity didn't mind, she loved getting licks of affection from her giraffes. It made her job all the more fulfilling.

Suddenly, she got a call on her radio.

"Amity, there's a tour coming in, we need you to lead it."

Amity grabbed her radio and held it to her mouth.

"Alright, I'm on my way."

Amity gave the giraffe a head pat and a kiss between the horns before leaving the habitat.

"I'll be back later." Amity said.

Amity left and began to do her tour. Meanwhile, Luz's plane finally touched down. Luz couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of her bags being her carry on, a suitcase, and a sixteen foot long prehistoric reptile. But she figured that the TSA wouldn't appreciate her joke, so she kept it to herself. She threw away the trash from her two salad, that she got on the plane, and exited the plane to head to her bags before getting to the loading docks for Bullet. When she got there, she was the transport from the San Diego Zoo and smiled. Her people.

"Luz, how was Milwaukee?" One asked.

"Cold." Luz said.

"Hehehehe, we assumed. So, what about the zoo itself?" Another one asked.

"The zoo was nice, though I ran into a LITTLE trouble while I was there." Luz said as she pinched her fingers together.

"Knowing you, that could mean anything."

"Yeah. I know." Luz said with a smile.

'Even a woman who killed my dad and knows about my gift.' Luz thought.

They loaded Bullet up and Luz loaded her suitcase into the back of the truck. Luz got in the back.

"Alright, let's go." Luz said.

"On it."

The truck pulled off from the airport and headed for the zoo, where Bullet would be the alligator of her dreams and Luz would be reunited with her fiancé. A few minutes later, Amity was taking the group to one of the exhibits.

"And here is the hyena habitat. Most people don't know this, but they are more similar to felines than canines." Amity said to the group, "They are a female dominated society. These ones actually arrived just yesterday evening, as another zookeeper managed to use a favor, she had to get them transferred. We are finally able to use the old exhibit again because of it."

Amity felt someone lean against her.

"Yeah, I'm pretty awesome." Luz said, before looking at Amity, "Miss me?"

Amity was surprised at this but quickly turned around and hugged Luz.

"More than I thought I would." Amity said.

"Well, I have some time before they need me to help unload Bullet, so why don't I help a little bit." Luz suggested.

"I would like that." Amity said.

"Good." Luz said, looking at the group, "Now, I helped get them transferred, and they like me. Hi, girls."

The hyena's and the cubs made a cackling noise and ran to the glass, trying to lick her through it.

"Don't worry, I'll play with you later." Luz said, "Now, let's get going, have you shown them the tigers yet?"

Amity smiled, Luz's upbeat personality had this way of making everyone happy. Luz took the lead and Amity kept smiling, until the dream replayed in her mind.

'It's... it's just a dream.'
