Capricorn regretted his decision with every ounce of his being. How had they talked him into this? How had they talked him and Virgo into this?!

"Can I sit on the roof?!" An eager Sagittarius pleaded.

Capricorn sighed. "You are such a pain in the ass sometimes."

"It's just a question."

"That you've asked every five minutes since we started our drive."

"And you still haven't answered it." And then Libra hit Sagittarius in the gut.

They were heading to a drive-in movie theater, and the trunk was so packed with all those folded up chairs & the cooler, that Capricorn was struggling to see out the back, which was stressful enough. But all this talking & fighting was making it worse. Well, not it's not like fighting between the Zodiacs is a new thing.

Meanwhile, right next to him, Pisces was as calm & oblivious as can be. She had her earbuds in, and was texting.

Scorpio had convinced Libra to switch seats with him, as he got to be by the window, and the air sign was between the two boys. Libra and Sagittarius were talking, while Scorpio just kinda stared out the window.

Leo & Gemini were playing some sort of online game together, shouting frustrated commands at each other, that never went over well. Virgo's headphones were on, and she was trying her best not to beat the shit out of the two beside her since she could still hear them clearly.

Aquarius and Taurus were talking about eggs while managing to keep a straight face, as it seemed to be a "serious" debate. Aries was texting someone, and Cancer was talking with Aries as she was doing so.

Capricorn pulled the car into a pretty decent spot and popped open the trunk. Aries & Leo helped him unload the cooler & chairs.

Aries, Virgo, Scorpio, Sagittarius, & Aquarius sat in the trunk, around the under circle in a U. Taurus was sitting on the cooler, handing people drinks when asked, but otherwise was just chilling. Cancer, Capricorn, & Pisces were in chairs in front of the trunk, enjoying the movie within their own personal space bubbles.

Gemini, Leo, and Libra, however, had managed to climb onto the roof via the sunroof. Despite Virgo & Capricorn's desperate attempts to get them down, they ended up there. They certainly weren't getting any food or drinks from Taurus, but they didn't care. They got to sit up high. Ha.

"Can I have a Capri-sun?" Aquarius asked, trying to stay quiet so she didn't bother everyone else.

"Sure." The brunette earth sign stood up, and opened the cooler, digging around the cans of soda to find the juice box. He handed it to her and sat back down.

"Thanks babe."

"BABE?!" The Zodiacs heard a shriek from the roof, and shuffling down the car, until Libra fell off the side of the car, right next to the trunk. She landed on her feet but ignored the pain. "What do you mean babe?!"

Aquarius laughed nervously, rubbing the back of her neck. Taurus's eyes just widened and had turned back to the movie, doing what I did — ignoring his problems and hoped they just went away.

"You see......uh......" Aquarius hates the awkward situation she had put herself into.

"Wait." Virgo furrowed her eyebrows. "Are you two......dating?!"

"Maybe a little."

     *insert dramatic gasps here bc the Zodiacs & I are extra af*

"Why didn't you tell me?!" Libra asked though she wasn't hurt. She was definitely happy for her friend.

"We just–" Aquarius began, and kicked her apparent boyfriend in the back, pretty much dragging him into the conversation.

Taurus begrudgingly continued. "We just wanted to keep it on the down-low. We're trying something, and didn't want to make it a big deal or whatever." He was unusually tense, and awkward. He was still getting used to the idea of having a girlfriend, as was Aquarius with him.

Eventually, everyone finally calmed down, and Libra's ankles were not in the best condition, so she sat in the trunk too, leaving Leo & Gemini alone together on the roof.

After Leo almost fell off backward though, they didn't move around too much. Gemini's life hadn't flashed before his eyes quite yet, and he wanted it to stay that way. Especially since, ya know, he's up high & all. Gross.

After the movie, Aries & Cancer helped pack all the chairs back up. Capricorn was kinda salty that he brought all those chars only for three to be used, but whatever.

Libra was blowing up Aquarius's phone with texts after Leo poked the black-haired girl's eyes for talking with Aquarius.

Aquarius, on the other hand, was having a serious debate with Taurus about socks and wasn't checking her phone. That, or trying to ignore the awkward conversation that would occur by talking about her relationship.

Capricorn just wanted to sleep and regretted taking the wheel. "Next time," he had told Pisces, who was totally invested in her he had to say and was not at all texting somebody. "Remind me to make Cancer drive."

Cancer, however, was passed out in the back, leaning on Aries as she slept. Aries didn't really notice, too busy texting. Well, that's not completely true. At first she tried to shove her off. But that didn't go as planned, so the fire sign just accepted her fate as a pillow, and rolled with it.

Sagittarius was playing a game on his phone, and occasionally looking up to see the dark landscape go by, almost impossible to tell anything from anything without the headlights, which he was rather close to. Scorpio, who still had the window seat, had passed out, his face all squished up against the glass. But it was cool, and he couldn't tell, so he was fine.

Leo was still drinking his Coke since he was rather slow at things like eating and drinking. He took nice long sips occasionally, and he & Gemini talked about the movie, which was Grease, by the way. They couldn't believe they didn't play the other movies. Betrayal.

Virgo was trying her best to ignore them, listening to her music, & the occasional smacking their arms — not hard, but enough to get their attention.

After they got home from the late-night at the movies, practically everyone passed out right as they flopped into bed.

I know, I know, it's not exactly a huge reveal with them confessing their undying love or whatever. But to tell the truth, I suck at romance and feel awkward writing it. But, like, leaving it out wouldn't be realistic, so I tried a compromise
