Code 10

The moment Taurus woke up, he immediately regretted it. Why? Because he would hear bickering the next room over, and what it was about. It was Gemini's room, with Capricorn doing the same thing Virgo was doing to the girls, Taurus figured.
"Why can't you guys just go and leave us?" Gemini asked.
"Because," Capricorn's voice was stern. "Then the house will be burnt down."
"How can it? You'd be taking Virgo with you."
"I heard that!" Virgo cut in, from right across the hall.
"Good!" Gemini shouted back. He definitely didn't intend for that to be heard.
Maybe if I jump out the window, I won't have to go, Taurus thought. Getting out of bed, he walked over to the window and slid it open. There wasn't a screen or anything, so he could just get on the roof and jump.
Sliding one foot out, his feet touched the cold whatever the roof is made of. But, he had to commit. He slid his other foot out and bent like he was doing the limbo to get his entire body out.
"Virgo! We have a code 10, almost a code 8!" Capricorn ran over and grabbed Taurus before he could get out. Virgo ran in, and they each grabbed one of Taurus's arms, dragging him away from the window. Cancer had come in, as well as Leo, to see what all other fuss was about.
"Come on, Taurus." Virgo huffed. "You're going shopping, like it or not."

They had to take two different cars to get anywhere. Capricorn drove one, with Sagittarius in shotgun. The second row was Libra, Aries, and Scorpio.
The second car was bigger, with Virgo as the driver, and Cancer in shotgun. In the first row were Pisces, Taurus, and Aquarius. In the last row were Gemini and Leo.
The Zodiacs had to go clothes shopping since they had only arrived on Earth a few days ago, and they didn't exactly have an abundance of clothes.
Once at the strip mall, they broke off three teams of four.
Group 1: Virgo, Libra, Leo, & Gemini
Group 2: Cancer, Aquarius, Scorpio, & Sagittarius
Group 3: Capricorn, Taurus, Aries, & Pisces

Virgo has to drag Leo & Gemini into the closest store, while Libra just kinda watched. "Are you gonna help?!" Virgo snapped.
"Nah," Libra shrugged, failing to hide her smirk. "This is fun to watch." Virgo groaned. Why did I have to get stuck with the worst group? She thought.
Once inside, Libra, Leo, and Gemini went off to do whatever. Clearly not shopping. Virgo couldn't be bothered to look for them. They'd have to deal with what she got them if they wouldn't help. Their loss.
Gemini and Libra were hiding in clothes racks, and wouldn't let Leo in. "C'mon, guys!" Leo whined. "Lemme in!" He tried to push his way in, but the air signs just shoved him away.
"No way." Libra laughed. She and Gemini were sitting criss-cross on the floor, squished together in the small space.
"Gemini, I thought we were friends!" Leo pouted, even though he knew the two couldn't see it. "How could you betray me like this!"
They were all laughing, ignoring the looks the people around them gave. It wasn't anything they hadn't experienced before.

Cancer was trying her best not to strangle Scorpio. "Where. Is. He?!" She demanded. Scorpio just shook his head, shrugging. He hadn't said a word since he had announced that Sagittarius was gone.
"Scorpio!"
Cancer had already sent Aquarius to look for him. She needed to blow off some energy, and she could be trusted enough to bring him back. Maybe not in one piece, but Cancer figured he could suffer a little.
The one time Cancer was put in charge of these bozos, and she messes it up! What would Virgo and Capricorn think! Would they be disappointed in her! The blonde massaged her temples, taking deep breaths. She had to get a grip on this situation.
Sagittarius was loose in the strip mall, but it wasn't just that. There were restaurants across the parking lot, and a street to cross, with more things he could be hiding in, and he could get hit by a car, or, or-
"Uh, are you alright?" Scorpio asked. He felt kinda uncomfortable, and he could tell Cancer was majorly stressed out.
Cancer shut her eyes right until she calmed down. I can do this, she told herself. I can do this, I can do this, I can do this.
"Yep."
"Good, because he went to the car."
"He did what?!"
"Yep."
"Well, he can't get in without the keys, and I still have them." She pulled them out of her pocket to show the boy.
"Yep. But he doesn't know that. And it's not like I was gonna stop him."
"Scorpio! He could get kidnapped — that idiot is too stupid to be left alone!"
"That is correct."
"SCORPIO!"

"Aries! For the last time, can you stop trying to walk up the down escalator?!" Capricorn sighed. He knew it was no use, but he had to try.
He had convinced Pisces and Taurus to go and pick out somethings-sure, he had to promise candy for it, but it wasn't like he'd actually follow through with that. Only Aries still wouldn't. She said she wasn't in the mood for candy.
"No!" She huffed and started trying to run up the escalator.
"Aries, you're going to fall!"
"No, I won't!"
"Can you please stop."
"Nope."
"Would you stop for a giant soft pretzel?" That made her pause. The auburn-haired girl considered the offer with a great deal of seriousness. She pictured a giant pretzel, almost as big as the house.
"Fine." Aries hopped off, content with herself. She had only ever had one soft pretzel, but they were amazing.
"And you have to pick out some clothes," Capricorn added quickly. Aries's eyes narrowed, and the boy's life flashed before his eyes.
But instead of killing him, which was her second choice, she just sighed. "Fine." And marched off to the woman's section, half-heartedly looking around.

On the drive home, everyone was yelling at each other and laughing. They had all gotten a few pairs of clothes-only about two or three though, considering that with twelve of them it was sure to be very expensive.
So what if clothes shopping wasn't fun? They can always make it fun.

Hello! Thank you so much for reading this! I really do appreciate it!!
Hope this chapter was entertaining! My post schedule isn't really a schedule-I'll just post whenever I can! I'll still try to make it more frequently than once a week though, just because these little misadventures don't take as long to write as an actual story XD
I'm open to any feedback!!
Anyways, remember to vote, comment, and have a wonderful day!!
