"Oh to be a pirate and just vibe & drink the day away in a floating house, never having to step foot on land again."

"We can't legally drink."

"No rules when you're a pirate." Libra countered.

"Eh," Taurus shrugged, but agreed. "I guess not."

"Does sound like a vibe though." Gemini agreed. The three of them were all just sitting at the counter, eating puppy chow (it's a regional thing—some places call it white trash, just google it bc I don't know the other names for it) together, and just saying whatever came to mind. They were just sitting around, waiting.

They were going to the mall today, and these three were, surprisingly, the first ready to go. Cancer was going around rounding people up, while Capricorn started the car.

"We could meet mermaids."

"You'd be killed by one instantly Gem," Libra said.

"Why would you think that?!"

"You're a simp."

"Excuse you, I'm not ashamed of that."

Taurus sighed, "Wow that's a dated phrase."

"Still applies. And I'm not kink-shaming you-"

"-When did I mention kinks-?!" Gemini asked, concerned. Taurus snorted.

Libra just ignored his interruption. "I'm just pointing it out. Makes you very easy to kill."

"What the fuck Libra I'm hurt."

Eventually, everyone made it to the mall, and they just decided to have a buddy system, for simplicity's sake, since it was a bit early in the morning, so everyone was rather tired.

Aquarius had always wanted to try and get her nails done by a professional, so she dragged Taurus along with her. Since she was all enthusiastic he was curious and wanted to try it himself, to see what she was getting all excited about.

They helped each other pick out a good color. Aquarius got an obnoxious bubblegum pink since that's what she planned on dying her hair at some point. Taurus got a dark green.

They both got sat down next to each other. The lady looked Taurus up & down, before they both started the whole procedure, including the small talk. "So, how old are you two?" She asked Aquarius.

"Oh, we're in high school."

"What grade?"

Aquarius looked to Taurus for help with an answer, but he wasn't looking away from his hands, and she smiled at how interested he was in the process. "Tenth." She guessed.

"How do you two know each other?"

"We're dating," Taurus explained, not looking away from his hands. What was she doing to them? It tickled, but not in the normal tickled type of way. Just a weird sensation, he figured.

Pisces and Aries were just strolling around until they caught the scent of something delicious. One look at each other and they knew they had the same idea.

Speed walking as fast as they could, they got close enough to see what food it was. Based on what the lady leaving was holding & the picture by the sign, it was for soft pretzels. "Oh, nice." Aries was pleasantly surprised.

"What do you want?" Pisces asked as they were walking in.

"Let me look at the menu first." The taller girl squinted at the menu behind the worker. It's not that Aries needed glasses, just the lettering was weird & small, so just overall hard to make out. "How about a cinnamon sugar bucket?"

"Ooooooo, yummy. I'll get one too then."

"I figured we could share."

"No way, you'll just horde them all." She teased.

Aries opened her mouth in a wide O shape, and pretended to be all hurt. "Me?! Remember the Cheeto bag?"

"We don't talk about the Cheeto bag."

"That's what I thought."

"For a conch it depends on the person for how much it hurts," Scorpio informed Sagittarius, reading from his phone. "but it takes like forever to heal."

"So we'll put that in the maybe pile. What did they say about helix?"

Scorpio rolled his eyes, this being the third time he'd gone over the helix piercing one. It was obvious it was the one Sagittarius wanted, but the boy could tell his friend was just anxious about the pain and needles.

"It's not supposed to hurt all that bad, and just feel like a prick."

"Oh yeah." Sagittarius fiddled with the bottom of his shirt, looking inside. The two were just kinda hovering around the piercing place, waiting for who knows what. Scorpio sighed and pocketed his phone.

"Look, how about we just buy a fake one. That way you can look all cool without the whole needle thing."

Sagittarius agreed a little too fast, relieved. "Yeah okay."

Gemini and Leo and gone straight to Bath & Bodyworks. They just wanted to smell everything, especially the candles.

At this point, it was more Gemini smelling them, and Leo wishing they were edible.

"This one smells soapy." Gemini shoved the candle in Leo's face, but it's not like Leo cared. He smelled it and scrunched up his face, agreeing. He didn't like the soapy candles. Gemini, on the other hand — with some standards, sure — did like them.

"Soapy ones don't smell delicious. I like the chocolate one." The blonde glanced at the chocolate candle longingly, like it was a forbidden love.

"Then buy it." Gemini replied, going to put the candle back.

"But then I might actually try to eat it. I don't have that kind of self-control."

"Then how about when we get home we get Libra and Aries to help us make a candle-shaped chocolate?"

"Really?!" His eyes widened. "Fuck yeah, let's hurry home."

Virgo and Libra were just chilling at the big fountain in the middle of the mall. Virgo was giving Libra coin after coin to toss in. The first few had been wishes, sure, but at this point, the air sign was just seeing if she could throw it where she aimed for it to go, usually through the water shooting up from the ground. Those ones had yet to hit their mark.

Virgo just dumped out all of her change — ok that's a lie, some of it was her change, the rest were the closest coins she could scoop up without people really noticing. So now Libra had a big wet pile to dig through, giving Virgo some me time.

She sat with her earbuds in, just vibing as Libra chucked the little chunks of metal in the reaction of children. As you do.

"You want something to eat?" Virgo asked. She was hungry and was going to get something to eat either way, but she wanted to know if Libra wanted anything.

"Nah, I ate before we came here."

"Oh yeah." Virgo stood up, taking out one of the earbuds, so she could still be relatively aware of what was going on around her. Libra just continued to throw the coins, enjoying herself.

While walking around, once Cancer spotted a Build-A-Bear, it was all over. Capricorn didn't know how or when he got into the store, all he knew was that he was just there, waiting in line for his bear to get stuffed.

He picked a polar bear, and Cancer got a panda bear. She was spewing name ideas with the intent of getting Capricorn to help her pick one, but all he did was go; "Oh, I like that one" or "That's a good one" or "Ooooooo that's pretty" to every single one. He was just trying to be supportive, but Cancer was about to kick him in the shins.

"You're no help." She sighed.

"Okay okay," he put his hands up defensively. "not Bandit."

She made a face that I can only really describe as :0 "But I thought that one was cute."

"Then pick it."

"Why don't you have an opinion on things?" She was mostly teasing him, elbowing his arm.

"I like what you like. Just pick whatever you want and I'm sure it'll be great."

"Then what's yours' name?"

"Blizzard."

"Like the ice cream thing?"

Aquarius and Taurus wouldn't stop showing off their nails, both very happy with how they turned out. Sagittarius put on the clip-on earring as soon as they got home. Virgo was all out of change, but they were rich so not really a problem. And then in the kitchen Leo and Gemini had recruited Aries to help them make that chocolate candle. Gemini had bought himself a nice, not overly soapy but still soapy candle. Capricorn and Cancer were sitting on the couch, their bears right next to them. Overall, a pretty good day.
