Y/N: What?

Goku: You heard me! Prepare your Body!

Y/N: Uhhh...

You now found yourself back at the beach where you first encountered Cell and Goku. You told him about how you applied for the Hero Program.

Y/N: Well, I ended up applying for the Hero Program like you suggested. What do we do now...?

Goku: Well, like I said, you've gotta prepare your body. There's a lot of things you can do with your Power that you don't even know! It'll be my job to teach you these things! You need to know the boundaries of what you're capable of before you head to Hero School!

Y/N: Wait, how did you know about U.A...?

Goku: Hehehe! I did some asking around!

Y/N: Okay then...so what, are we gonna fight or something?

Goku: No, at least not yet. First thing's first, you need to get more used to using your power. You may be strong, but without any control, you won't really last long on the battlefield...that's why I'm gonna whip you up into shape! I'm gonna show you how your Ki works and teach you how to harness it!

Y/N: My Key...? I already know how keys work.

Goku: No, not like a lock key! Your Ki, as in your life energy!

Y/N: So like Chi? Like in the movies?!

Goku: Enough of that! All you need to know is that you can use it for all sorts of stuff! I'm gonna get you started! As well as some physical training to get your body ready! Think you're up for it?

Y/N: I don't have a choice at this point, so I...?

Goku: Nope, not really! Let's do this!

And just like that, I began nine months of absolute Hell. Over the course of those nine months, Goku did exactly what he said, and showed me how to use abilities that I didn't even know I had in me. But it was up to me to master these abilities.

Two Months in

You were currently attacking Goku along the shoreline with a series of Melee attacks such as punches and kicks. However Goku had inhuman levels of speed on his side, and no matter how hard you tried, your slow and sloppy attacks couldn't even touch him.

Y/N: Dammit! C'mon!!

Goku: You should focus on coming up with a strategy of attack rather than just blinding throwing punches. You won't beat any half decent fighter this way. I can definitely see some improvement though!

Y/N: This is ridiculous!! You're too fast! I couldn't hope to catch you in a hundred years!!

Four Months in

You were currently sitting perfectly still. Your eyes closed and your breathes silent as Goku stood in front of you and watched closely.

Slowly putting your hands together, you took a single deep breath and focused. Your palms slowly beginning to shine.

With a mixture of Skill and Focus, you then summoned a small orb of energy within the palms of your hands. Goku smiling at the sight of this.

Y/N: I did it!

Goku: I knew you could do it! Great job! You're only gonna get better!

Seven Months in

Once again, you were standing perfectly still. Focusing your energy as the wind pressure around you began to swirl like a whirlpool.

Y/N: Focus...draw our your energy from the depths of your very being...

Goku stood with his arms crossed. Two minutes, five minutes, ten minutes, yet nothing happened. You eventually gave up due to frustration.

Y/N: I can't do it! It's too hard!

Goku: You're focusing a bit too hard. You can't force it. You have the right idea, but try toning it down a bit.

Y/N: Ugh...Alright...

With that you tried once more. Focusing, but not too much. Closing your eyes, you took a deep breath as the wind started it swirl around you again, but at a much more consistent rate this time.

Goku: That's it! Now push it up!

You followed Goku's instructions and pushed the force of your energy up, and though you struggled a little bit initially, you now found yourself hovering in the air.

Y/N: I-I...I did it! Check it out, Goku, I did it!! This is amazing!!

Goku: That's awesome, Y/N! All you need is more practice and you'll be flying high in no time!

Nine Months in: The End of Your Training

It was a long, hard, and painful process, but I did it. After a gruesome nine months of breaking my limits, it was finally the day of the Entrance Exam. At least for the Recommended Students.

At a different spot by the beach, two other individuals were training as well. Your friend, Izuku Midoriya, and a skinny old man with blonde hair. The man seemed to be like a trainer for the determined young Midoriya.

He seemed to train his body by hauling trash out of the beach. The man yelling words of encouragement to him as he kept going.

Old Man: C'mon, Midoriya! You've only got 2 months left! Move it! You've got this!!

Midoriya gasped and panted for air as he ran, but while he was doing so, he couldn't help but notice two other individuals in the distance.

It took him a second, but he realized that it was you and Goku. Though he didn't recognize Goku.

The two of you were taking a job along the shoreline as a test of speed. You would break your speed record probably once a month or two.

Goku: C'mon, Y/N! Get those legs burning! The old you wouldn't have lasted half as long as this!

Y/N: Right!!

Midoriya: Woah, It's Y/N! Wait, who's that with him...? I've never seen him around here before...

Old Man: C'mon!! Move it! Move it!

Midoriya: Y-YESSIR!

With that Midoriya carried on with his own training as the two of you kept going. Goku had decided to put you through one last quick session as a warmup. The Entrance Exam started in just 2 hours.

Eventually you both stopped and took a moment to relax. Goku took a look at you and saw how muscular you had become over the time you had spent together.

Goku: *Whistles*...You've made some incredible progress, Y/N! I'm so proud of you!

Y/N: Thanks, Goku...do you think ready for the exam...?

Goku: Of course you are! You just need to have confidence in yourself! Oh, and before I forget, I have a surprise for you!

Y/N: Oh...?

Goku then summoned a box out of thin air, leaving you shocked. Even now, he still finds ways to surprise you. With a smile on his face, Goku then put the box down and opened it for you.

Goku: I heard that Heroes usually have cool and flashy outfits around here, so I went and got this for you! I hope you like it!

Y/N: My Hero costume...?! You realize that there's still a chance I won't even pass the exam, right?!

Goku: No way! You've got this, especially with everything you've learned. You've got this! Even if you don't believe in yourself, just know that I believe in you!

Y/N: Heh...if you really have that much faith in me, that's just another reason for me to succeed! I guess I'll see you around. Thank you for everything, Goku!

Goku: Don't sweat it! You can pay me back by passing that Exam! And if you do pass, I'll reward you with some lunch!

Y/N: Count on it!

And that was where my first step as a Hero Began. With everything that Goku's taught me, plus all of the workouts and sparring matches, this should be a piece of cake! Right...?
