The U.A Sports Festival. The Contest of U.A students to see who stands at the pinnacle of all Heroes in training, and the biggest competition in the entire world. Being able to compete is truly an honor. Me and my classmates have roughly 2 weeks to prepare for this Festival.

Shortly after classes had wrapped up, you decided to meet up with Midoriya at the same beach where you usually train.

It was a little while before he showed up, but eventually he had arrived wearing a track suit. Meanwhile you were just wearing a tank top and sweatpants.

Midoriya: L/N! It's good to see you outside of class!

Y/N: Heh, you make it sound like we didn't see each other just a few hours ago.

Midoriya: *Sweatdrops*...Hehe...I know...

Y/N: So...what exactly did you have in mind for training?

Midoriya: Well...we both struggle to keep our powers in check. I always end up using too much power and my bones always break...and you seem to have an issue with energy and stamina draining with your power.

Y/N: Yeah...about that...

Before you could finish your sentence, Goku seemingly appeared out of thin air right behind you. This startled both of you as you jerked back in shock.

Goku: Yo!

Y/N: Crap...!! Give me some warning next time...!!

Midoriya: It's that guy again!

Goku: What's wrong? I thought you wanted to train. That's why you're on the Beach, right?

Y/N: Well yeah but I wanted to train...with...Midoriya...wait, you never met Midoriya!

Midoriya: Woah...! You appeared out of nowhere! Does your quirk allow you to teleport anywhere you want?!

Y/N: Actually...Goku's Quirk is a lot like mine. That's why he's been teaching me how to use my powers properly.

Midoriya: Oh! Is he like your Brother? Or maybe your cousin?

Y/N: No, he's just a my Friend and Teacher.

Midoriya: That's...weird...your quirks are incredibly similar but you're not related at all...?

Goku: Crap!! He's gonna figure it out...!!

Midoriya: But people having similar Quirks isn't a rare thing. Especially flashy ones like Electrical Quirks or I guess in your case...Energy.

Y/N: Wait but isn't Electricity just the transferring of Energy—

Goku: It's nice to meet you...what was your name again?

Midoriya: I'm Izuku Midoriya, Sir!

Goku: Gotcha! Well like Y/N said, I'm Goku! I'm just trying to help him get a better understanding of his power. But if you're not gonna be doing much physical training tonight, I should probably get outta here. Catcha later, Y/N!

Y/N: See you later, Goku!

With that Goku warped away in the blink of an eye. Surprising both of you once again. You then turned to Midoriya and spoke once more.

Y/N: Man, I'm hoping at some point he teaches me how to do that. It'll be really convenient for certain occasions. Anyway, what did you have in mind for practice?

Midoriya: I'm not too sure myself, but you were about to tell me something right before...that happened.

Y/N: Oh right! After everything went down at the U.S.J, Goku managed to get me all patched up. After I got all healed up, I noticed a few changes with not only my Quirk but my entire Body.

Midoriya: Really?

Y/N: Yeah, my body is more durable, I'm pretty sure I got stronger, and my flight time went up from 10 seconds to roughly 30 seconds. It's almost like my quirk kinda..."Evolved"...

Midoriya: Evolved...?! Maybe that's how your Quirk works! The further you push yourself, the further your Quirk will Evolve! Who knows, maybe you could get some new powers if you keep going!

Y/N: Maybe...I'll have to test that theory. What about you? You said yourself that your power always breaks your bones because your body can't handle it yet. What do you usually do when you activate your Quirk?

Midoriya thought about it for a moment. After pondering a little bit, he eventually he gave you an answer.

Midoriya: Whenever I try to use my Quirk, I surge all of my power into one of my limbs and use it for one powerful attack.

Y/N: I see...that's not very efficient. With that method, your offensive options are really limited.

You then thought about it for a moment. It took you a second, but you realized that Midoriya's power was very similar to your Ki. You utilize your Ki to enhance your other traits such as Strength, Speed, and Durability. Midoriya's Quirk ultimately held the same kind of concept.

Y/N: Hey, I have an idea!

Midoriya: I'm listening...

All of a sudden you powered up with a glowing white aura. This startled your classmate as you explained your plan to him.

Y/N: When I use my Ki, I always surge my energy throughout my entire body continuously. Using all of your power in one spot likely puts more strain on your body than what you really need to use. You should try using your Quirk on your entire body without turning it off.

Midoriya's eyes brightened up upon hearing this. He was a little hesitant, but was eager to give it a try. You watched him clench his fists as his entire body began to glow. Glowing Vein-like lines began to appear all over his body, and then, it happened.

Midoriya's entire body began to surge with little bolts of green electricity. His eyes glowing the exact same colour as you noticed a drastic change.

Midoriya: He's right! I shouldn't be turning it off! Use the 5 percent I can handle continuously...yeah!! FULL COWLING!

Y/N: You did it, Midoriya!

Midoriya looked towards you with a smile on his face. He was still gritting his teeth, struggling to maintain all of that energy surging through his entire body simultaneously.

Midoriya: Y-Yeah...!! Thank you, Y/N...!! I think I just need some practice like this and I'll be set for the Sports Festival!!

Y/N: Great! Man, Bakugo's gonna be eating your dust before you know it! But while we're here, I wanna say something...

Midoriya: What's that...?

Y/N: I'm glad that you're getting stronger, because just seeing you improve like this is making me wanna go head to head against you! So you'd better not lose early on in the Sports Festival, because I wanna do my best to beat you!

Midoriya: The same goes for you, Y/N...if I'm aiming for the top, that makes you my rival too!

Y/N: Heh...I wouldn't have it any other way!

Time Skip

About an hour later, Midoriya had gone home to rest up for the night. You were happy to help him with his control issues over his Quirk.

You were now just sitting on a concrete wall, watching the Ocean waves go back and forth as you thought about the sports festival. However it didn't take long before you heard a familiar voice once more.

???: Hey, Y/N.

Y/N: Huh...?

Turning around, you were surprised to see that it was Goku again. You had assumed he had gone home at this point. Standing next to you, you looked up at him with a confused look on your face.

Y/N: Goku...? I thought you went home!

Goku: Nah...I just wanted to give you and your friend some space. I've been hearing about this Sports Festival that you're gonna compete in, and it sounds like you're up against some pretty tough students over at that U.A place. So I wanna teach you a little something that'll help you when you're in a corner.

Y/N: Wait...seriously?! Something new?!

Hearing him say this made you perk up and jump onto your feet. He then looked at you and leaned in a little bit before speaking.

Goku: It's called...
