He is clumsy with a gun and doesn't want anything to do with the mafia but he's so poor he resorts to that life to make money. He's been friends with Denis for a long time and is the only one he trusts in the mafia, so he went to him for work. He doesn't even trust Charlie.

He wears a pink suit and easily hesitates during the hard part of the job, so just comes as back up with a gun.
