For a last four years, Soot has been dealt with his fight with his addiction. He normally needs to control his nerves over the smell of chocolate. Sometimes he becomes successful, but at times, he secretly tried to cheat his way, by having a small nibble of it. Doctors were checking on him daily and looking for any trace of contraband, making him secure that he would be a changed dog.

Since he finally overcome it, he was released back into the outside. He went to his old house since his apartment was bought out by other people, his mother was delighted to see him in a healthy lifestyle in so long... so long in fact, he forgot what it was like being a tamed dog

Soot begin to wonder if he decided to retire as the hero, he wants to go back to the kind of dog he was, a babysitter. The problem is, no other dog wants to hire him, after the overdose and his wild behavior, it would be a bad influence on the puppies.

Soot saw the fountain and has a cat statue below the coin filled water. He doesn't feel like grabbing it but stared at a chocolate shop across the street, he saw a boy handing out gun-shaped chocolate to bad kids, "make sure you eat it after the triggers have fired, it's biodegradable after all."

"Thank you, Bittersweet" kids left as they plan to do a secret plan he isn't intended to stop

Soot stared at himself, "how am I going to do? Is there any dog that likes me?"

A commercial plays on the screen, "Recently jobless? Meeting your favorite characters on TV's and Movies? Having a good art style? Desperate for a hobby you would continue to enjoy? Hi, I'm Bearlynyan. The head of Fan Artist helpers Workplace, our mission is to recruit and teach new Yokaisonas to work with your partners. This is a supervising or a babysitting job for you if you have these qualities: Strength, Friendship, and Artistic! Call our number on our screen now, and you will be the next Yokaisona of our growing organization"

Soot got inspired by the commercial and begins to call the company for the job, "Hello, is this Fan Artist Helpers, New Yokaisona Recruitment? I'm here about the babysitting job for me and I was wondering, are there any openings? You have! I'll be right there on 4PM" he hung up, "alright, back to being tamed again" he ran to the elevator and pressed the code for the workplace

Soot was sitting and took his test while others are doing the same. He began to defend cartoons from enemies, but he bites back in a mild way rather than his wild way

"You boys seemed kind enough to handle a kid, but some of you are able to take down super strong enemies. For that, I have assigned some of you with your next assignment" Bearlynyan smiled as the Yokai grabbed their files and head to the elevator but stopped Soot, "hold it right there, dog. You're not done yet"

"Is it something missing? Should I go back?" Soot replied

"No, no. You did fine on everything. You wanted a babysitting job, right? And I've heard that you bite the arm off of the dog catcher, why are you asking me for a job that makes you care of little defenseless children?" Bearlynyan asked

"I am rediscovering myself back with my past... I don't want to harm anyone people but care for the children." Soot whispered

"I understand, but are you sure you can handle puppies?" Bearlynyan holds a test file for Soot, "I have this world for you, it's from Australia, many people speak in English accents and they refer things differently, like they say "biscuit" instead of "cookie". Luckily for you, they're all dogs, so you'll fit right in."

Soot looked at the picture of a blue Australian cattle puppy, "a Blue Heeler, eh?"

"She is 6 years old, has a wild imagination, and she isn't old enough to leave her world, because they want to preserve her child-like innocence for the show that everyone likes." Bearlynyan explained, "her name is Bluey Heeler, and she sometimes has a problem with letting other good friends do things rather than what she wants"

"Sounds like a nice choice, I can handle a job like that" Soot smiled as he goes to the place for tomorrow

Bearlynyan called the phone, "Your babysitter is on his way tomorrow. I'm telling you, he is no cat person"

Soot arrived in a colorful world and see dogs walking upright and wearing less to no clothing, if it wasn't a kids show, this would be inappropriate for girl dogs because they also don't wear any skirts, bows, or girly eyelashes stereotypes. This world is full of confusion, but it's their world.

"This must be the place" Soot rang the doorbell and an adult blue dog opened it

"Ello mate! You must be the new babysitter" he said

"Yes I am, thank you for having me come over. I'm Soot" Soot introduced himself

"Call me Bandit, this is my wife Chilli" He introduced her to his wife who is a Red Heeler

"It's nice meeting you, we were going to invite Rad and Frisky over again, but they have other plans tonight" Chilli explained to Soot

"Don't worry, I'll make sure the kids are happy and they'll be tucked in before you went home" Soot told them

"That's great, let's go see that Avatar movie" Bandit nodded

"Mum, are you sure you're coming home? Is the movie going to be super long..." A blue puppy got worried about their absence

"Yes, but we'll be home" both puppies hugged their mother as she left with her husband, "goodbye, kids"

"Goodbye, Mum" they waved goodbye as Soot looked at their sad expressions

"So what do you kids like for dinner, eh?" Soot smiled as the orange puppy gets excited

"Can we have ice cream?" She asked

"No way, that comes after what I'm gonna order, what do ya all like?" Soot replied

"I want meat pies!" Bluey shouted

"I want sausage rolls!" Her sister shouted

"No way Bingo, I want a meat pie!" They were arguing

"No! Sausage rolls!" Bingo growled but Soot broke them up

"Girls, calm down. I have dealt with this problem before, let's order both" Soot smiled

"Hooray!" Both puppies jumped with excitement

"I'll order it right now, but it'll take a while for them to arrive. Shall we play some fun games while we wait?" Soot suggested to them

"Yes, but you aren't like dad, because he isn't a gray-haired old dog" Bluey replied

"Old dog? Does an old dog not too old enough to play... Avatar?" Soot stood in a fighting position holding a stick

"I haven't played that game before, how does it go?" Bingo asked

"I'll show you..." He puts on his nerd glasses and a tie and does a different voice, "Ms. Sully, your mission is to explore a new planet"

"A space adventure! Yes!" Bingo smiled, "what shall I do?"

"Simple, you are entrusted to be in the body of an alien, just enter this pod and your mind will control the alien as well as their voices!" Soot set Bingo down to the couch, "now for this game to really work, I'll be in your control, give me commands so I can play along with whatever it is you're doing"

"Okay" she laughed

"Now began transferring. Beep. Boop. Beep." He took off the glasses and tie as he lied on the floor

"Wake up" Soot stood up to Bingo's commands

"Go on all fours!" Soot went on his four legs

"Grr!" She growled as Soot growled

"What can I play as?" Bluey asked Soot

"You can be the princess who saw a female stranger being unfamiliar with the new world" Soot whispered

"Oh okay, Oh dear, a strange dog has entered my kingdom" Bluey acts as the princess

"Miss Princess of your lands, I am Ms. Sully of the Outback Future where kangaroos took over the world! Teach me your ways so that my race can live with you?" Soot lip-syncs to what Bingo said but can't help but laugh at the lines

"Oh this is pretty lovely, but I want you to ran some tests. First, cross the land of the soft beasts, then tame the beast as your own. Lastly, we place paint on your face." They continued on with the game until their food arrived

"This is pretty good" they eat some of the food he bought

"How do you know how to play the game?" Bluey asked

"It's was actually my idea long ago, I saw the first movie of Avatar and it's pretty groundbreaking back then before Hybrid animation overshadowed 3D animation. When I was a older teen, I figured that I could make a game out of it, but I have other jobs, so I don't have much time" Soot looking down sadly, "I would love to have that timeline when I'm still the babysitter dog..."

"You're pretty fun! What happened in the first movie, we were invisible during that time!" Bingo shouted

"Oh right, you guys weren't born then. The movie is a bit made for older audiences, but I can sum it up in story time" Soot holds them up and lay them down in their beds.

The parents arrived home late and saw their babysitter saying the first story of Avatar to Bluey and Bingo, "as soon as the general throws Jake into his pod house, his real body is suffocating because he can't breathe in Pandora's air" both girls gasped, "Neytiri gasped at this and shot down the stinky monkey general down with two of her arrows down on his chest, defeating him instantly. She gave Jake his air mask and she saved his life. As soon as the battle was over, the earthlings returned to their planet and swore that they'll never harm the aliens there again. With the help of the aliens, the princess helped Jake transferred into his Alien body, got married, and lived happily ever after. The End"

"Hooray!" Both girls cheering

"Soot, I have a question, did Jake and Neytiri have kids in the end?" Bluey asked

"Well..." Soot tried to answer since he haven't seen the new movie yet

"Yes actually, they have five kids" their mum came home to their room

"Three of them are theirs, yet the other two are adopted" their dad smiled, "they managed to raise them in the wild and became part of nature"

"So are the earthlings are going to keep a promise to not come back to their planet?" Bingo asked so innocently

The parents turned to face each other for a hard question, "Well..."

"They keep the promise, for as long as they find another planet to get their hands on rare things to save their planet" Soot assured them not to worry, "now good night... you have a long day"

"Good night Soot" both girls are fast asleep as he and the parents exited the room quietly

"Why did you do that to the girls?" Bandit asked

"I just want to preserve their innocence, so that they won't be afraid of what's going to happen. I swear I will look after them and I will help them grow up" Soot smiled, "I'll be leaving now, call me if you need anything else"

"Hey, uhh Soot. If you don't mind, you can spend a night here with us. I'm sure being a Yokaisona has its perks" Chilli replied

"Me? I was called here as your babysitter" Soot asked again

"Yokaisonas do more than that, they protect their guardians from scarier threats. Some I've heard got to stay in their guardian's homes. As long as you get paid by your boss, that's fine with us" Bandit gave Soot a shoulder pat

"Thank you..." Soot looks at the kid's room, "it's a path of redemption that I must take"

3 years later...

"Happy anniversary, Soot" the whole family cheered him along with Bluey's friends from her school

"Thank you guys, you made me feel right at home" Soot smiled as Bluey brought a cake to him with his face on top, "that's so sweet of you. My kid guardian is growing up"

"Mum made it all for you, I'm sure she made it the way you like it, Strawberry!" Bingo laughs

"Sweet!" Heard a rumble from the ground and some dogs duck under the table

"EARTHQUAKE!" The dogs and puppies ran panicking as a blue green grassy creature entered the house with a snarl

Kids scream as they saw the beast and the parents shields them from further harm

"Canines of the Australian show about the talking blue dog! You are all ill-minded and due to be cleansed. All must be in quarantine!" The beast snarled as dogs were confused

"Not again!" A gray dog whined

"It's not that kind of quarantine" He grabbed the children left and right

"Muffin! Socks! Mackenzie! Indy! Lucky! Rusty!" The beast laughed as the kids are struggling to get free, "now the grown-ups turn!"

All dogs ran away from him but one-by-one, they were caught by the monster. Bluey ran along with Soot, Bingo, and her parents, seeing a monster appearing on his anniversary shattered her heart, "stay here Bluey, I'll be right back!"

"Hah! A new competitor! Let's see what this show dog scored, huh?" He snarled as he tried to grab Soot. His bite chomped off the arm and the beast winced in pain, "dogs aren't that violent here... but you are a special breed, eh?"

"I prefer ordinary" Soot replied

"Having you around this town is toxic and may damage the kid's minds, if you know what I mean!" The beast laughed, "what I'm doing is right, saving guardians's minds is what I am after. Too violent. Too soft. Just right. Make kids stay kids while adults stay adults. The natural order."

"The beast from the vision. The color matches... that was the beast who started my journey... you wanted to keep us away from our guardians!" Soot pointed it out

"Ahh... you're so close... hand me your pen and nobody is going to get hurt. If you don't comply..." the beast grabbed a plush and destroyed it

"I see..." he saw Bandit behind the beast as Soot was talking to the monster

His mum hold on a hat and goggles for a dog, "Bluey, as soon as your dad does what he's doing, go straight to the elevator with your guardian"

"But what about Bingo? Dad? And you?" She begged her

"It's okay... always wear this with you" Chilli gives her a hat with strange tech on the ears and eyes, "This is the censoring hat, it will keep you from seeing or hearing something scary at your age"

"Okay mum... I'll wear it as we go" Bluey begins to cry

"Good" she hugged her and yelled, "Hey! You big Fluffy!"

"What is it then?!" Bandit jumped onto the beast and tried to distract him, "Bluey! Run! Soot! Protect her!"

"I will! I will protect her" he ran away to the elevator with Bluey as the beast lets go of the parents and heads to the elevator before it closes. "YOU YOKAISONAS SHOULD DIE FOR GOING INTO KID SHOW TERRITORY!" His other  grassy arm was stuck in the elevator and the arm pulled off from the door, "Atlas to Kronos, we've got a runner in the kiddie area. I repeat! A runner!"

"There's no way this is happening..." Soot was shocked by the visions becoming true, "Chocolate let me see the future..."

"Isn't that dangerous?" Bluey asked

"Yeah, but I'm done with it now. Put on that hat, the other worlds won't be as harsh if you keep your hat on." Bluey put on her censoring hat and saw the grassy severed arm as a regular tentacle, "that is an octopus arm" she laughed

"There will be shocking imagery not suited for kids, that is why this helmet is invented, so kids won't get all traumatized" Soot assured her that it is okay

"Is my mum and dad going to be okay? What about my friends?" Bluey asked

"They'll be okay, he doesn't seem to be the guy who want to harm you guys..." Soot hugged her

"But what if he harmed you?" She cried

"I don't know... but I know you will believe in me" they both hugged in a quiet ride in the elevator

A dingo dog far from civilization heard cries of a monster..., "Brother Songbird... it appeared like in your vision... war is coming..."

Soot: it's gonna be a wild one to get this through... why the kidnapping?

Bluey: is this similar to the other shows?

Soot: well maybe... sort of reminds me of the trope on TV that involved forced separations

Bluey: where are we heading next? If it's one of the mature worlds, I want to be serious about it

Soot: Very serious, as long as you got that sparkin' hat of yours, you will hear no snuff about any cusses or fictional cusses. Plus it will be easier for me since I have done my hardest not to say anything dirty.

Bluey: Okay... I guess I'll try...

Soot: good

Both: Next time of "The Young Guardian"...
