"What are you going to wear?" I send the message to Lilli while Iooking through my closet undecided.

"Just skirt and top, a bit fancy" she answers but I stay in the chat when I see she is still typing.

"I'm ready come whenever you want"

I mentally curse as I see the time 9 pm the party is supposed to start at 11 or 10:30 and I havent even choose what to wear.

I eye myself carefully on the mirror seeing the outfit I picked.

Isn't it a bit too sparkly?

lol fuck it.

I grab my small black purse and head to the door.

"Woah, you look stunning" My mum smiles while widening her eyes and grabbing my hand, turning me around so she can see me completely, making me chuckle.

Making my way to the entrance I stop in my tracks when I hear a notification on my phone. I totally expected Lilli but when I see the unknown number I can't help but frown.

"If you get tired of the fakeness of those all motherfuckers, Namjoon and I will be hanging out at his place eating snacks and playing video games

I immediatly smile while typing down.

"Totally going to consider it" I send the message and bit down my lip when I see my mum wiggling her eyebrows at me from far away.

"Im leaving!" I open the door and wave her off and so does she.

Without thinking twice I knock on Lilli's house and in matter of seconds the door is opened.

Lilli silently squeals " You look so pretty" she lets me inside.

"You too, amazing" I eye her from head to toe while smiling.

I greet Tiana who is sitting in the living room, waving happily while she eats some snacks while I folow Lilli towards the stairs, to get to her room.

"Hi" Taehyung smiles happily as he gets up from the bed to greet me "You look good!" he lets out a boxy smile while looking at me and I chuckle.

"Thanks, you too" I say nodding while looking at him, he was using a pastel shirt with black jeans, it looked like a casual look yet it was kind of fancy and classy.

"Why did you take so long? I still have to do your make up asshole" The blonde girl complains while fast walking from here to there, reaching for makeup as Taehyung rolls his eyes while chuckling and sitting back down on her bed, reading a comic.

"Im okay with just a eyeliner, I don't wear much more than that" I shrug and Lilli sighs relieved.

"Thanks god because we are quite late" Lilli grabs an eyeliner and makes her way to me, sitting me down on a chair on the dressing table.

"Late for what? It's just a party and it wil end at like 6:00 a.m" Taehyung raises an eyebrow at her girlfriend, eliciting a glare coming from her.

"I just like being on time" she bites her lip annoyed an looks at me "He doesn't understand that" she shakes her head frustrated making me giggle.

It takes her about 5 silent minutes to do my eye makeup as she gets her composture straight while looking at me, satisfied.

"Okay, we are done, let's go!" The three of us make our way downstairs and greet Lilli's mum before reaching Taehyung's car that I failed to notice when I entered the house.

"We are here" Taehyung turns off the engine of his car in front of the huge and fancy house, with flashy lights on the inside and loud music.

"What's wrong are you nervous?" Lilli asks staring at me from the front seat, earning Taehyung's attention too and making him turn around to eye me.

"No- her house is just huge..." I blink several times and they both chuckle. Opening the doors and stepping outside as I follow their actions.

Lilli's house was already pretty and big and Taehyung fancy red car tells me he must have some money too. But Kendall's house was on another level.

People were already on the outside, some dancing, and others just sitting on chairs and chilling.

"Follow me, she is probably inside" Lilli links her arm with mine and with Taehyung on the other side.

As we make our way inside no one fails to glue their eyes on us, not even trying to do it in a dissembled way.

"Hii!" The girl with sparkly dress turns around while smiling widely and spreading her arms to hug Lilli, who lets go of both -Taehyung and me- to hug back.

Kendall's dress doesn't fail to be the center of attention which really relieves me after I chose such a colorful outfit.

"Hii!, you look stunning" She eyes me from head to toe and touches my hair while smiling. I smile back and compliment her back. I indeed liked her dress, the cut in the waist was not really my style nor the single sleeve, but it definetely suited her.

Still, my smile never lasts long near her, -afterall- she is always glued to Hoseok who keeps eyeing me even while holding her waist. Giving me looks that are not easy to describe since everytime I look at him, he would look away as if nothing happened.

I tried my best to avoid the uncomfortable situation by drinking, but somehow -not even after several drinks- nothing is getting less awkward. Lilli trying her best to include me with her boyfriend -Which was sweet, after all Taehyung seems to be really nice too- but her attempts don't succeed always as I lowkey feel like a thirdwheel who doesn't even have a second option due to avoiding Kendall and her boyfriend at all costs.

And don't get me started with the looks Jungkook gives me, It's either a scoff or like he wants to kill me, probably because I defended Yoongi and Namjoon. And even though I tried my best to not seem affected by the scary boy with arms covered in tattoos, the whole situation kind of wasn't helping either, not even Jimin who was standing just next to him giving me some pitiful looks, almost as if apologizing in place of his friend, which just elicited a nod and light smile from me while I made my way to a glass door that leaded to a small balcony.

I immediatly hugged myself due to the cold freeze while closing the door behind me, and slowly stepping forward to look at the city lights and traffic.

"Someone doesn't like the party?" I couldn't help but flinch at the unknown voice approching from behind.

I quickly turned around, spotting a tall really handsome boy with broad shoulders. Whom I remember being mentioned by Yoongi.

 I shrug smiling and he smiles back immediatly while stepping forward, stopping at my side while putting his arms on the iron bars, getting comfortable while staring ahead.

"I'm Jin by the way" His eyes leave the noisy city to meet mine while his pumpy lips form a smile.

"I'm courtney" I say and he instantly nods "And what about you, How did you end up here?"

"Well I just arrived, and as soon as I made my way to Taehyung he was looking for you along with his girlfriend. And I saw you from afar, I should have told them so they stop looking but I kinda felt left out knowing I was the only one who hadn't met you yet, so I couldn't help it" He admits, making me chuckle while he does too, his shoulders moving in synchrony with his laugh.

"Well now you do, wasn't that amazing was it?" I smile widely as he tilt his head to the side while frowning.

"Na, you seem really dope. Although you didn't answer my question" he blinks twice as he searches for my reaction.

"What question?" I frown while trying to remember.

"If you don't like the party, I'm pretty sure you aren't here for the hot weather" He emphasized the sarcasm while smirking and I looked away while bitting my lip, trying to stop the wide smile to approach my face.

"It's not the party, I just- I don't know Lilli is with her boyfriend so-" 

"What about Kendall?" His question immediatly makes me stay silent for like 2 seconds, eliciting a small giggle from him.

"Ahh, I see you don't like her that much do you?" His face wears a happy wide smile which catches me off-guard.

"I- I haven't talked to her that much so..." His eyes are mid closed as he smirks, eyeing me carefully.

"You are not a good liar" He takes a sip of his glass while I roll my eyes.

"I didn't lie at all. I really don't know her" I stat shrugging my shoulders and turning to face him.

"Well we have something in common, but believe me; the less you know her the better" he finishes the drink and stares at the empty glass for like 2 seconds before turning around and making his way to the door.

But just as I thought he was ging to leave, he stops on his tracks and turns around again to face me.

"What are you doing? Let's go" He smiles "You don't need to be around people you don't stand and fake you are having fun" he calls me with a hand gesture and I quickly bit my lip smiling and making my way towards him.

He quickly interwines his hand with mine while opening the door with his free one and makes his way to the center of the "dance zone" earning intantly everyone gazes and whispers. And that includes Kendall, Hoseok and their squad.

Jin immediatly starts doing strange movements that went along with his extra faces. Breaking the shyness, the ice and also making me crack up so hard I had to grab my stomach that started hurting. 

"Don't look too obviously but Hoseok is staring at us" he says making my smile instantly drop.

Jin frowns surprised as he eyes me looking towards Hoseoks direction in a really sly way.

Hoseok was indeed, staring at us. He was mad, it was noticeable, and he was burning us up with his eyes.

I immediatly looked away while frowning. It kind of annoys me being confused because of him. He has kendall now, and he is no longer the way he used to be, why is he being such an asshole? Or is it because maybe he hates me?

"Oh I see... There is a story behind isn't it?" Jin stops dancing while locking eyes with me.

I sigh while shaking my head an laughing. Am I that obvious or does he read minds? 

"You surely are something special" I laugh as I watch him step forward.

He brushes some strands of hair out of my face while bending down  little.

"I'm also a good kisser" 

And before anything else could be said, our lips are moving in synchrony but everyone sorrounding us has stopped.
