A month passed by and nothing was better... At least for me. Since my mum got a job offer in another city far away from here.

I tried hard, but no matter what I did, it felt as If Hoseok has never existed. The online friends we had in common, none of them had any other type of way to contact him. The anxiety approaching me everytime questions flooded my head "Where is him?" "Is he okay?" 

As much as I tried not to overeact It was impossible not to imagine the worst when someone who is being bullied suddenly disappears.

My mum didn't fail to notice my saddened state, but telling her was not an option. She didn't even knew about Hoseok in the first place and even if she did, she would likely say its ridiculous to have a boyfriend you can't even see or be with.

"Honey are you ready? Do you have everything settled down?" She asks eyeing me standing at the door with my suitcase

"Yup, I've got everything" I say, my eyes not leaving my phone.

Just when the taxi stops in front of the department my mum makes her way towards me

"I think this one will last longer" She stats, refering to the job offer while caressing my cheek and I just nod

 Believing her was difficult after we have been moving from here to there for almost four years, but she has never given me fake hopes of staying for longer before. Besides spending a lot of money on the tickets for the plane, this was something she believed in and I trusted her.

As we land on the new country and new city where I will be living, a deep breath of relief leaves my body and the fear of my first travel by plane is gone.

The city noises such as car and people in general is much bigger than in the towns I used to live in and even the department we will be living in looks fancier

"Mum how did we afford to pay this?" I manage to ask shocked as I observe the whole department

It was small yet just looked so decent and was prettier than anything we have ever had. 

"Well, I did not only work hard but also got some help..." She explains before walking off and calling me from afar " Come here Sky" 

I do as told, following her to the entrance, spotting there a woman talking with my mum

"Courtney this is Tiana , the owner of all this and also a really close friend of mine" My mum explains as the woman with kind of short darkhair smiles happily at me

"Nice to meet you" I smile back while shaking her hand 

"The pleasure is mine sweetheart , And " She turns to look back at my mum "You didn't told me she is this pretty!" She chuckles and we do too 

"I have a daughter who is your same age I hope she shows you around the city and school, her name is Lilli" She says, her big smile never leaving her face

"Oh yes, Tiana made sure that we had everything settled down so of course she also brought you your school uniform for tomorrow" My mum claps her hands happily and I raise my eyebrows surprised

Uniform? Tomorrow? 

"But.. It's Wednesday, I thought I was going to start on Monday... Like I always do" The disappointment in my voice is clear as much as I try to cover it up. I needed time to settle down in this city, in this house and all. Exactly what I didnt want was having a schedule to follow as soon as I arrived

"Yeah I know sweetie but the school director just said you could start tomorrow and the sooner the better " My mum stated a bit annoyed at my frustration 

"Also the unifrom is so pretty" Tiana adds showing it to me, and yes, It was indeed pretty but that didn't change the fact that it was my first time wearing a uniform and that I was tired tue to the flight.

"I hope I guessed right the size" She hands it to me and I grab it while analyzing it 

"I will try it on" I reported earning an instant nod from both of them 

The size was indeed perfect and the uniform was really femenine, I hope this school isn't one of those that are fullfilled with rich and mean people

As I leave the room I earn a gasp from both women and I jokingly roll my eyes while laughing

"You look stunning!" A girl that is a bit shorter than me approaches, shocking me a bit. She looked femenine and her hair was a honey toned blonde just like mine 

"Thanks... Lilli?" I kind of ask and she nods immediatly while smiling

"Yes, and you are Courtney am I right?" She shakes my hand and I nod back

"Do you perhaps know how to dance?" the blonde girl asks out of curiosity, catching me off-guard

"Excuse me?" I raise my eyebrows surprised and she giggles 

"Sorry, our school has a lot of clubs and things to join and the cheerleaders team needs more girls" She adds 

"Uhm- I dont know I might try" I shrug my shoulders . I didn't lose anything by just trying besides Lilli seemed... sweet?

"Well , Lilli and me will be get going because it's already late and you guys need time to settle down. But if you need something just call us asap" Tiana spoke while making her way tothe door, followed by her daughter

"Okay see you!" My mum greets them and me and Lilli manage to smile at each other before the door is closed 

"They are nice aren't them?" my mum asks smiling happily while trying to read my face

"Yeah" I shrug carelessly. My mum knows I don't care about making socials and it kind of confuses me seeing her being so insistent, maybe she would really like to stay here...
