Part 2: New Girl in Springdale

The following Sunday, Nathan Adams was walking home alongside Whisper and Jibanyan from playing soccer in the park with Bear, Eddie, and Katie. He was somewhat surprised and confused to see his parents and Jerry talking to an unfamiliar family. He walked over and tried to ask his mom and dad what was going on, but they were too busy talking to the parents. Eventually, his mom (Lily Adams) noticed him and answered, "Oh, sorry, Nate. Didn't notice you there. Guys, this is our son, Nate."

"Hi, Nate," Lena Madison greeted in a friendly way, "I'm Mrs. Madison, that's my husband," and she pointed to Dylan Madison, who was talking to Jerry and Aaron Adams (Nate's dad), "and our kids: Millie, Michael, and Molly. We just moved here from Austin, Texas. Molly's the youngest and the same age as you. Hey, Molly!"

She called Molly over, and she came over quietly. She wore a pink dress with a blue sewn-on waist sash, a headband that matched the dress, and two blue bracelets (one on each wrist) that matched the sash. She walked over to her mom and asked, "What is it, Mom?"

"I'd like you to meet Nate Adams."

"Hi," Nate cheerfully said. He held out his hand, which Molly hesitantly shook. "You seem pretty  nice. Do you think you might wanna hang out sometime?"

Molly just silently nodded. Nate then continued, "Like, where? The mall? The park? The bakery? A comic book store? We could basically hang out anywhere." Molly merely shrugged.

Nate found this strange and said, "Would you excuse me for a bit?" She nodded again.

Nate, Whisper, and Jibanyan went around a corner, and Nate said, "That was kinda weird. The only people she's been talking to are Jerry and her family. Is she being inspirited by a Yo-Kai?"

"Oh, Nate, you're always being so silly," Whisper responded, "thinking that a Yo-Kai's responsible for everything."

"Yeah, she's probably just really, really shy. There's nyothing wrong with that," Jibanyan agreed, "but she does seem kinda depressed."

"Y'know, you guys are probably right," Nate realized, "I guess when you really think about that idea, it does sound kinda silly."

They went back to Molly, who was looking around and appearing a bit sadder. Suddenly, Jibanyan got tackled and noogied by a golden blond cat Yo-Kai who looked identical to Jibanyan, but he had blue eyes, a cup-bell collar, freckles on his cheeks, and a red and blue tummy warmer. It was Tomnyan! He enthusiastically shouted, "Hey, guys! Are you here to see the new Springdallards, too?"

  "Yeah, we are," Nate replied.

Jibanyan and Tomnyan looked on at Molly, and Jibanyan commented, "Molly sure does look melancholy, doesn't she?"

Tomnyan agreed, "Yeah, she does. We should probably get her a housewarming gift to cheer her up... but what?"

He then overhears Aaron Adams asking Dylan Madison, "Hey, Dylan, why'd you choose a house so close to the schools?"

Dylan replied, "It's so that the kids won't be late. Lena doesn't like us being late for school or work, and Molly must've picked up that trait because if there's one thing she can't stand, it's being late for school."

Tomnyan then exclaimed, "Eureka! That gives me an idea! We should get Molly a watch!"

Jibanyan responded, "Y'knyow, Tomnyan, we could just get Mirapo to teleport Molly and her siblings to school."

Tomnyan simply snarked, "Sure... if you wanna do things the easy way."
