Prologue:

The first time I met him, I didn’t want anything to do with him. I had just gone through a messy court proceeding in order to win my legal adulthood at the age of 17. I’d already had a job at the local machine shop and found a place of my own before ever fighting for my independence.

That was stressful but ive learned from that experience. Ive learned that I am independent and that I don't have to rely on other people for my happiness. I had my close friends and my job at the machine shop.

That day at the shop when we first talked, he came off as exactly what he is, but with time I couldn’t imagine not knowing him. Little did either of us know we went to the same school and even had English together. After all this time with him I found that he isn’t a shallow pool, there’s a lot more than meets the eye.

I thought that all I needed was my Jeep.

Sometimes you find that the most unexpected people become the most important.

And sometimes those people walk into your life at unexpected times and places.

A/N: Hello and welcome to my new story! Just a quick note on the title- YJ Princess. A YJ is a model of Jeep Wrangler, which is what my lead character owns. I'll also try to explain anything if it gets to mechanically technical, but feel free to ask questions!
