Fire and death was at every corner of the kingdom, people screamed, yelled and cried. but only a small group fought against the threat at hand. Lord Robotnik had been defeated only an hour before

"Maurice!" A voice shouted in panic as they saw a bright beam head straight for the azure hedgehog.

The hedgehog swiftly turned and dodged

"Thanks Rockhead!" Maurice shouted back as he swiftly pulled out his weapon and shot at the robots surrounding them

"Hey!" A red echidna growled as he and his sister, who had been rescued a week before from an eternal sleep a curse from the Oracle  

"Can you not insult anyone right now?!" A lion shouted as he flew above in a fighter jet 

"where's the fun in that?" Maurice grinned as he high kicked one of the many fogged beings that mixed with the robots in the army they faced

"I question how we are related..." a magenta hedgehog sighed as she shot at

"oh come on Sonia~ i thought you liked having a thief and an edge lord for brothers" a green hedgehog laughed as he smashed the bottom of his hover bored onto the heads of the robot army

"edge lord?" A taller purple hedgehog snorted as she kicked the being who got too close to her

"eh they've been calling me that for the last 3 years" Maurice commented with a chuckle, as he his the last fogged being, his siblings took down the last of the robots

Now, there was only one thing to do as they heard the angered growl from the enemy...Obsidian...

"Cyrus!" Maurice shouted as he saw Obsidian turn to the fighter jet and attack 

Cyrus moved the jet in time, but sustained critical damage as the fighter jet began to descend from the air, the green hedgehog was quick to zoom up beside the jet and help the lion out before it hit the ground exploding 

"thanks Manic" Cyrus sighed in relief as he was set down on the ground

"thats it" Maurice growled as he grabbed his medallion 

"this was bound to happen at some point" Sonia rolled her eyes, but grabbed her own, Manic followed suit as he landed next to Maurice

"YoU tHiNk YoU cAn BeAt Me?!" The being cackled as the magma flowed through their veins 

"We don't think...WE KNOW WE CAN!!" the seven of them shouted at once, Obsidian growled and got ready to destroy them all

A beat started as the medallions turned to instruments, but they weren't the only ones, Aleena, Knuckles, Cyrus and Tikal received instruments too 

"Set the stage a war is coming
And all our souls for sale
Drowning in your self-obsession
You'll lead us all to hell..." Maurice sung slowly and lowly  as he looked up at the giant god, his eyes glowed as he sung, a water spirit watched from afar as the fight went on

"Bridges built for centuries now
You're quickly burning down
Divide with hatred feed their fear and
Soon you'll wear your crown" The beat picked up as Manic and Sonia joined there brother in singing

"Now is there nothing we can do or say?
To take back this hell that we have made?" as the music went on, the dirt under their feet started changing to green grass, the people stopped screaming as they heard the song

"ImPoSaBlE!" Obsidian shouted, outraged as he began to attack, but he couldn't hit them  as his attacks reflected off the barrier around he seven and hit him 

"Violent like a hurricane
We're breaking out of this cage
Cause everything we've fought for
Is dead and gone
No!
We're mad as hell without a doubt
Now you're screaming but there's no way out
Now we have finally had enough
I will draw first blood" the energy around them began to bubble and over flow as the water spirit watched with integrity, the people in the city began to march to the field where it once was covered in dirt

"You sold your soul for fame and fortune
But still it's not enough
A wolf that's waiting in sheep's clothing
A heart that knows no love" Aleena sung alone as tears fell from her eyes at the loss of so many people and her husband because of this man in front of her

"Is there a second chance for sanity?
Or are we to lost in our vanity?" the people sung with the seven in front of them, the wind picked up and began to circle Obsidian

"Violent like a hurricane
We're breaking out of this cage
Cause everything we've fought for
Is dead and gone" the seven sung, Obsidian growled and attacked again and again, but each time hi did he grew weaker and weaker

"No!" everyone screamed out 

"We're mad as hell without a doubt
Now you're screaming but there's no way out
Now we have finally had enough
I will draw first blood" the kingdom sung, much as the field grew back to it's glory, the trees began to as well, the kingdom glowed brightly as there was no sign of fire, destruction or pollution 

"Parasitic so sadistic
Dying for your curtain call
Manipulated, bitter, jaded
So, take a bow
You fooled us all
We see right through your masquerade
Your secrets now you must avow
Fed on the week all of your life
It's your turn to be the victim now" Maurice screamed with his siblings, sending a blast straight for the god
"No!!" obsidian shouted as he covered himself, he sustained damage but not enough to put him off, the people without freedom, began to come too as the metal faded to skin, fur and flesh

"Violent like a hurricane
We're breaking out of this cage
Cause everything we've fought for
Is dead and gone
No!
We're mad as hell without a doubt
Now you're screaming but there's no way out
Now we have finally had enough
I will draw first blood"
Obsidian's strength began to widdle away as the cyclone went faster and faster, as more and more people screamed and shouted, the triplets eyes glowed brightly as their eyes went from deep brown to emerald green, sapphire blue and pink tourmaline

"Violent like a hurricane
We're breaking out of this cage
Cause everything we've fought for
Is dead and gone
No!
We're mad as hell without a doubt
Now you're screaming but there's no way out
Now we have finally had enough
I will draw first blood" they screamed sending shock waves at Obsidian, making him stumble back and fall, landing in his main form

"I will draw first blood!" the people of the city screamed as Maurice walked towards Obsidian, a purple black gem in hand as his eyes stayed glued to the god

"It's your turn to be the victim now!" Maurice, Sonia, Manic and the rest of their family, friends and their people stated as the music stopped and bright light flooded the city and the kingdoms borders, reversing all that had been done to destroy and alter the kingdom and it's people

"You can't defeat me so easily!" Obsidian yelled "i will return and kill you all!"

"I'm afraid that wont be happening" Maurice said as his face was emotionless, his tone was cold and it terrified everyone who heard him speak "you shall remain imprisoned for all of eternity, from this day forth, i pledge myself as the one to make sure you are never set free and sworn to protect the future generations from your corruption"

"No NoT pOsSiBlE!!" Obsidian screeched as  the gem in the prince's hands began to glow, he clawed at the ground desperate to get away but his body began to fade into the gem "I wIlL gEt My ReVeNgE!" he screamed as the last of him faded into silence

"you actually agreed?!" Sonia yelled at him, as she hit her brother's chest

"there wasn't another option..." Maurice said to her, the people of the kingdom were in a daze and started cheering as it faded and they realized they had been saved

"what are you talking about?" Aleena asked when she over heard what her children were talking about, but suddenly they were in the palace halls as they were sixteen years before "wha-!" 

"I see you took the offer prince" the water spirit stated

"but i only thought if we did you a favour you'd wake my sister up!" Knuckles shouted

"i did and you fulfilled the favour, i just offered the prince a way to get Obsidian out of the way and seems he went along with it" he commented

"what" Cyrus stated in shock

"to save us all he had to give up his mortality" Manic said 

"and i'd do it over and make the same decision, always" Maurice stated

"i can't believe you" Knuckles growled at the being

"this was my choice Knuckles, no one else's and you should be thankful i didn't put a bullet in your skull when you asked Sonia out" Maurice glared at him

{a week Later}

"I now crown you King of Mobotropilies" Aleena said as she crowned her eldest son, the crown lit up brightly as it was placed upon his head, blinding everyone as the glow began to settle

"all hail the King!" Charles yelled as he bowed his head and clapped with a proud smile, not knowing what was to happen

Sonia, Manic, Cyrus, Knuckles and Tikal stood to the side in formal clothes for the occasion

"All hail the King!" the crowd shouted and bowed their heads

hours after the reception, the seven walked through the halls till they reached an empty room

"how do we do this?" Manic sighed

"easy, Sonia takes the crown when i leave, none of you say a thing about me leaving, make it as if i disappeared in thin air" Maurice said

"But what About Elroy? he's still in the dungeon" Cyrus stated

"we could exicute him?" Knuckles said

"no..." Everyone turned to Maurice "it'll only be mercy for what he's done"

"then what? he could escape and try and take over again!" Sonia shouted

"robotasize him" Maurice said, everyone went quiet after that 

"are you crazy?!" Cyrus shouted

"no i'm not, it's only fair he should suffer the same punishment he put to everyone else" Maurice stated

"he's right..." Manic agreed

"you have got to be kidding me" Sonia face palmed

"he robotisize him, the destroy the machine..." Cyrus mumbled as he too realised it was a fare punishment

"Mother snap them out of it" Sonic frowned

"lets put it to a vote" Aleena stated

"fine, raise your hand for Elroy's punisment to be a life time in the dungens?" Sonia asked, she raised her hand, Tikal did too, but the other five didn't

"I'm sorry Sonia but i have to agree with your brother's....he shouldn't have done it to those people..." Knuckles mumbled

"i mean there is a valid point" Cyrus stated as he looked away

"but-" Sonia was cut off

"everyone in the kingdom would agree Sonia...i'm happy your thinking of this differently, but it's the best thing for everyone at the moment" Maurice stated

"fine" Sonia said

{Robotisization}

"Elroy Robotnik, you have been sentenced to a public court session" Cyrus said as he stood in front of the people of the city, Elroy was in chains as he was held in palace by the palace guards

the royal family watched from the balcony as people crowded and watched

"Kill him!" some shouted, but Cyrus ignored them as he read the many charges

"You are charged with treason, the insalavery of the people, dethroning the queen, help in the assassination of the king, the death of the innocent, destruction on the kingdom and the premeditated murder of the royal triplets, how do you plead?" Cyrus asked as he looked at Elroy

"not guilty" he answered

"would anyone like to say any words?" Cyrus asked

"You killed my daughter!" "you robotasized my family!" "you destroyed everything!" the insults and claims went on and on, until Cyrus was satisfied 

"You, Elroy Robotnik have been found guilty for your crimes against Mobotropilies and are here by sent to robotasizeation, orders from the King" Cyrus stated "put him in" 

the guards nodded as Elroy shouted and screamed at them, swearing his revenge, but fell silent as he turned to metal and oil

the crowd was silent as they watched the man who had caused so much trouble, be nothing but a slave, and they feared that if they were found guilty the same fate would be held for them, but relief washed over them as the King appeared next to Cyrus and nodded to the guards

"destroy it" Maurice said to the people, it was silent for a moment again before the crowd clawed at the machine, until nothing but useless scrapes and parts littered the ground "take him away" he ordered the guards" as he too left the people to cheer and cry as the machine was no longer a threat to them

{5 months later}

" hey bro come look at this " Manic shouted out after the screen lit up

" what is it Manic " Maurice asked as he walked in with a magenta female

" I finished hooking up the computer system, and I wanted to record something with the three of us, seemingly your immortal now " Manic said with a smirk as Maurice shook his head with a smile

" let's do it " Sonia jumped onto her brother, Knuckles walked in and before he could walk out he was dragged in by Maurice

" you ain't going anywhere knucklehead "

" come on Maurice, I thought you hated Echidnas " Knuckles said with a worried look

" if I hated Echidnas then why am I letting you marry my sister, plus your much better than Bartelbe or Stripes " Maurice said emotionlessly as he stared at the echidna

" ok before you kill my lover, let's start the video " Sonia stated, but laughter was heard

" you realise that the video has been recording since I yelled out like five minutes ago " Manic laughed out, the three blinked and started laughing too

" oh god Manic, what would I do if you never did that " Maurice stated with a smirk playing on his lips

" you would probably still be depressed over the loss of your foster parents " Sonia but covered her mouth immediately

" you had to say that didn't you Sonia " Maurice growled

" sorry it slipped out of my mouth " Sonia yelled at him, the continued to argue

" will you both shut it " the echidna yelled, but regretted it when he looked at the blue hedgehog

" what did you say knuckles " a dark look was on Maurice's face as he looked at the echidna

" I-I um " Knuckles stuttered as he stepped away from the blue hedgehog but heard laughter from him seconds later

" dude your sense of humour is horrible " Manic sighed

" well at least I have one " Maurice retorted

" I'm surrounded by idiots " Sonia said as she put her hand on her forehead

" HEY " all three males shouted

Manic stopped the video as they all laughed

"i'll miss this" Maurice sighed as he smiled sadly

"we will too" Sonia frowned

"too bad Cyrus could make i-" Manic was cut off

"Sorry i'm late!" Cyrus shouted as he ran into the room, carrying a bag full of things

"what is that?" Maurice asked as he looked at Cyrus

"a gift" Cyrus laughed nervously, making Maurice shake his head "just a few things you would need...since..." 

"i know"

"so i guess this is good bye..." Cyrus mumbled as he placed the box down

"yeah...i guess it is..." Maurice sighed

"look dude, i couldn't have had a better brother, even if you are an edge lord and a runaway king and an immortal prince" Manic chuckled "but your heart is the purest of all, you just had a rough start" 

"we all did and i wouldn't have it any other way" Sonia smiled, but tears started falling from their brother's eyes, which shocked all of them, because he wasn't one to cry

"Knuckles, i'm counting on you and Cyrus to keep them safe" Maurice cried as he looked at the echidna

"...o-of course" Knuckles stated

"it's time for them to leave..." Chaos stated as he walked into the room, Tikal following him

"What are yo-" Knuckles was cut off

"she is the guardian of the master emerald, she will remain on the island while you remain with the princess" Chaos said "but you all must leave, before time is up"

"well this good bye my king" Cyrus mumbled as tears fell from his eyes as he kissed Maurice's cheek, making the king's eyes widen and make him go a light red

"it is, but i'll see you all again one day..." Maurice mumbled as he closed his eyes and took the crown from his head and placed it on Sonia's, but the glow faded from it, for she was not the true heir

"goodbye..." he said as they al faded away from the place they had once been in, leaving Maurice alone with Chaos for eternity
