Master Starcast: You what?!
Legendary Spyro: It was essential for seeing Sun Dragon's powers in action! I wasn't even fully sure if what occurred yesterday would unfold!
Master Starcast: You purposely hid that fact that the archeologists had found troll footprints around the Stone Monkey just so one dragon could fight?! What is wrong with you?! You're supposed to be the wisest, most dependable and reliable of the Legendary Skylanders, if not all Skylanders period!

Legendary Spyro, after reading the report by Mixcoatl and Pegaslash about yesterday's mission, informed the Senseis that he had hid evidence saying that trolls had already found the Stone Monkey. This made everyone very upset.

Master Mysticat: Now Starcast, I'm sure Legendary didn't just "hide" the information just so Sun Dragon would fight someone.
Master Pit Boss: Ssstatistically speaking, it would appear to have been to our benefit. If Legendary Ssspyro had ssspoken of this evidence, then word may have gotten around and the trollsss may have tried to make off with the Ssstone Monkey sssooner or may have abandoned the effort all together, both of which would lead to never dissscovering the actionsss of these Anti-claw trollsss until a later time, maybe even until it wasss "too late".
Hugo: And reports from all over Skylands shows that these Anti-claw trolls have been making mischief and attempted thefts previously, though I can't seem to find any record of this "Scorpius" fellow.
Master Pit Boss: All the more reassson for Legendary Ssspyro's actionsss. Keep ssearching Hugo, there hasss to be a record of him around.
Hugo: I'm doing my best Master Pit Boss.

Hugo left the room to search some more. Though Starcast was still furious with Legendary Spyro, he was given enough reason to at least not yell anymore. Through all this discussion of his actions, Legendary Spyro kept a straight and emotionless face, which was typical of him to.

Legendary Spyro: If it makes you feel better Master Starcast, Master Eon gave me permission to do what I've done. For all the reasons that have been stated here. For me, it was to test Sun Dragon so to see to it that he could handle an unpredictable scenario. As far as this discussion, however, it showed me that you do not easily trust even the most righteous of creatures. Am I wrong?
Master Starcast: 😲 I-I...I-
Legendary Spyro: I hold no judgment against you Master Starcast. You are a foreigner in Skylands, and I have done something that would seem astonishing for a Legendary to do. It should only be natural for you to judge my actions as you see within reason to. Is all forgiven now?
Master Starcast: I.... I forgive you, Legendary Spyro. Forgive me for accusing you.
Legendary Spyro: You are forgiven, Master Starcast.

MEANWHILE

After what happened yesterday during the mission, Sun Dragon decided to sign up for the Combat Class. He knew it would take another day or two before he was told when his class would be, since the Senseis had to arrange it themselves. Scorpius was going to be a threat to Skylands, and Sun Dragon had to be prepared for it. He had just finished signing up for the Combat Class when Cosmic and Impken ran up to Sun Dragon.

Impken: Sunny! Daphne told us what happened! You 'aight? Are you hurt? I don't see any injuries. A-
Cosmic: Will you hush Impken? Sun Dragon, please say you're ok!
Sun Dragon: Everyone settle down! As you can see, I am unharmed and in fit condition. I appreciate you worrying about me. See?
Impken: Phew! That's a relief! For a minute there I though I was going to have whip some tail for ya!😅
Cosmic: You literally panicked til you started hyperventilating. It took an half hour for you to stop.
Impken: The point is that Sunny is A-O-K. Absolutely.... something...something. Ok, just checking on ya Sunny! See ya!

Before Cosmic or Sun Dragon could say anything, Impken dashed off. Cosmic just face palmed and shook her head while Sun Dragon chuckled.

Cosmic: I swear it's hard getting a reading on him sometimes.
Sun Dragon: He's an imp Cosmic. It's only natural for him. I do appreciate your concern for my welfare Cosmic. Truly, thank you.😏
Cosmic: Of course Sun Dragon. Oh, hey, while we're talking, I could use your advice on something!
Sun Dragon: What be it, Cosmic?
Cosmic: Well, there are two new students in my Magic class. The first one came two days after you and I met, and the second one showed up earlier this week. The two of them seemed to already become friends, but they're both too shy to talk to anyone else, including me. Before Impken got me and told me what happened on your mission, I saw the two of them go into the library. I think they may still be there, and I'd like to meet them.
Sun Dragon: Shy? Well, how about I go with you so we both can meet them? I don't have anything else planned for today, and I would like to meet these new cadets.😊
Cosmic: Ok! Come on, race you!

Cosmic and Sun Dragon raced to the library, and the race ended in a tie. They both entered the library in hopes of seeing the new cadets. Cosmic soon found them and pointed them out to Sun Dragon. He couldn't believe it! Not only was one of them the mime Shield, but the other was actually an oriental dragon just like him! Without dely Sun Dragon ran up to the both of them.

Sun Dragon: Hey! I-
???: OhmiGod!

The oriental dragon immediately jumped in shock and hid under the table he was on. Shield jumped from hearing the dragon screaming and nearly fell off her seat. She accidentally dropped the book she was reading at the time as she kept herself from falling over. Sun Dragon helped Shield back to her seat and picked up her book, making sure not to lose the page she was on.

Sun Dragon: I'm sorry Shield, I didn't mean to frighten the both of you. Here, you dropped your book.
Shield:😨 U-uhhh....t-thanks. A-and it's F-force Shield.
Sun Dragon: You were with Pegaslash's team yesterday right? I didn't get a chance at all to talk to you or to make sure you were ok. Call me Sun Dragon, or Sunny, both work with me. Thank you for your help yesterday. Are you feeling well?
Force Shield: 😨 U-umm...y-yeah, I'm fine. You're w-welcome, I guess...
Cosmic: You know her already Sun Dragon?
Sun Dragon: She was with Pegaslash's team yesterday. They practically saved my life! I didn't get the chance to meet Shield here until now though.
???: Mission? You went on a mission? Oh wait, you're an oriental dragon too! Heh, gosh, I thought I was the only one here!

The oriental dragon came out from under the table. Most of his scales were dark blue while a few were a very light yellow color, like a star-lit night. His frills were like a psychedelic rainbow that changed colors whenever the light shown through them. His claws and horns were yellow while his underbelly was orange. By dragon terms he was intimidating, but Sun Dragon could see through his exterior and into that heart of gold and soul of silver inside.

???: Forgive me for being frightened so easily. I've been through... harsh things. Things that.... I'd rather not talk about. Oh, name's Eteru.
Cosmic: Name's Cosmic, and of course you've met Sun Dragon. We share the same elemental class. You, Force Shield, and I that is. Me and Sun here take the same Dragon Class.
Eteru: Dragon class? That must be one of the classes I haven't been to yet. I'm new here, so I'm not familiar with everything yet. Shield has been so nice to me and has been helping me so much. Shield?

Force Shield had gotten back to reading her book. She looked up nervously and worryingly whenever she heard Eteru refer to her. Sun Dragon could see her personality well. She was a shy person(Sun Dragon found out later that she was also an elf like Alabra) and probably wasn't used to social situations. That's probably why she dresses as a mime, so people won't expect her to talk much. Her black hair covered half of her face, making her seem even more like the "shrinking violet" she apparently was. She got the mime look down perfectly. She even had the beret and a mole to match! Though rather or not the mole was real or fake was difficult for Sun Dragon to determine.

Force Shield: ...W-what?
Eteru: Oh come now Shield, surely you can't be this shy. And lower the book when speaking to others. Come on, their friends! Show them who you are.
Force Shield:....T-that's easy for you dragons. Y-you're s-social creatures by n-nature....
Eteru: *sigh* Can't argue with that. Sorry, she's been through harsh things like I have. I say I had it worse but she begs to differ. She's never even told me all she's been through.
Sun Dragon: And you have?
Eteru:😨 W-well.... N-not entirely.
Sun Dragon: I understand. Sometimes we hide things from the world at large, at least until we have time to figure them out for ourselves.
Force Shield: 😟.....I w-wouldn't say that's the c-case. I-I just don't want to talk about it....
Sun Dragon:.....Still, I understand.
Cosmic: Forgive me if this might sound rude, but surely "Force Shield" isn't your real name, is it?
Eteru: Oh no, it's-

Force Shield suddenly grabbed Eteru's snout to keep him from talking. He squirmed and mumbled to try and release her grip, but it didn't change anything. He finally got the hint and stopped moving, her grip still remaining.

Sun Dragon: Let me guess, you only tell your most trusted friends your real name?
Force Shield:....😔.....
Eteru: (mumbling) Something like that. It's complicated. Or at least that's what she says anyway. Could you let go of me now please?

Force Shield let go of Eteru's snout and went back to her book. Eteru rubbed his snout in hopes it would soothe the sensation she left. Sun Dragon looked at the cover of Shield's book to see what she was reading. Though the written Skylandian language would be impossible for Earth people to read, it was spoken like Earth English. Sun Dragon saw that Shield was reading a Skylandian reprinting of an Earth book. One he knew in fact.

Sun Dragon: You like Scare Scape too?
Force Shield: Ummm.... Sure. You?
Sun Dragon: I've read the whole thing! I even have a copy that has some pictures of the monsters if you're interested.
Cosmic: "Scare Scape"? What's that?
Sun Dragon: It's a novel about some kids who read this comic book, also called Scare Scape, and when they wish for things from the book, the monsters in it are let loose! It's an interesting read I'll say.
Eteru: It does sound enticing.
Sun Dragon: The monsters in it are so creative too! Like the Kamikaze Cobra or the Galosh! Oh, not to mention the Zombie Twins!

Sun Dragon began impersonating the different monsters. He made them so hilarious that one person had to come and tell them to quiet down. You know, due to them being in a library. Sun Dragon continued acting, but in a quieter manner. During one of his impersonations he realized that Force Shield had left. They spotted her heading for the doors with her books close to her chest. Sun Dragon managed to run in front of her which immediately made her hide the lower half of her face with her books, standing as if she was going to run the other way any second.

Sun Dragon: Is something wrong Shield?
Force Shield: 😨....I-I-I need to b-be getting b-back to my room. M-my r-roommate will be w-worried if I don't come back and worrying always leads to trouble you know I don't want trouble or worry or anything I really need to get back to my room please don't hold me up I-
Sun Dragon: Shield! Shield! It's okay, it's okay! You don't want to get an anxiety attack! Relax, calm down, breathe. Breathe..... exhale. Breathe.... exhale. Feeling better?
Force Shield: *deep breath* (nod)
Cosmic: Are you okay?
Force Shield: ..... (mumbling) Mm-hm.
Eteru: Phew. That's a relief. Now what's the matter?
Sun Dragon: She said she needed to get back to her room.
Eteru: Already?.... Oh my word! Shield should be in her room long before now! OhmiGod we we're screwing up her whole day we're so sorry!😭
Cosmic: You can tell that just from looking at the sun?
Force Shield: (whimpering)
Sun Dragon: Here Shield, let me take your books and I'll go with you to your dorm room, ok? Ok?
Force Shield:.....(quietly) O-ok-k....

Force Shield finally started moving again as she gave Sun Dragon her books. Sun Dragon smiled assuringly to help comfort her. He could tell that this one was a "special case" and was to be handled with care. Which meant no "sneaking up" on her.

Sun Dragon: Tell you what Eteru. How about you and Cosmic go to the snow cone shop and meet me there hm? If it's okay with you Eteru I can invite some friends of mine over.
Eteru: Um, s-sure. I guess that's okay.
Sun Dragon: Great! I'll meet you as soon as I get Shield to her room. Ready?
Force Shield:....Y-yeah.....W-whenever you are, I-I guess....
Cosmic: Then it's settled! Nice meeting you Shield! Come on Eteru!
Eteru: No one said anything about tugging me by my wriiiii-

Eteru screamed as Cosmic "tugged" him along with her. Sun Dragon motioned for Shield to walk with him, and the two went. Shield would point to which direction they should take to go to her room, not saying a word. After walking up some stairs and halfway down a hall Shield, without a word, gently took her books from Sun Dragon and turned the doorknob to her room. The second she opened the door someone from inside the room opened it the rest of the way for her. Sun Dragon recognized them as Alabra from yesterday's mission. Were they roommates?

Alabra: Shield! What took so long?
Force Shield:.....*points at Sun Dragon*
Alabra: Oh, it's you. Sun Dragon was it?
Sun Dragon: That's right. I finally met your friend here, but I'm afraid I held her up from returning here. I offered to walk her to her room and carry her books. Alabra, right? And I assume you two are roommates?
Alabra: Right on both counts. Sorry we didn't talk much yesterday. Shield tends to... freak out easily, should we put it?
Sun Dragon: So I noticed.
Alabra: Oh lord. What happened?
Sun Dragon: I think I just surprised her too much is all. One of my friends shares a class with her and another student and they needed my help "breaking the ice" if you will. Shield and Eteru seem to get along very well through a shared personality.
Alabra: Eteru?... Shield you didn't say you were making friends! 😃

Force Shield had already walked in the room and had put away her books. She was currently putting away her beret when Alabra asked her about Eteru.

Force Shield: (quietly) Eteru's n-new. In my Magic Class. He sits behind my seat. He s-started talking to me. We talked about our.... past experiences.... Me and him have been going to the library after class. He let's me read my books outloud while he listens. He's very nice. It's no b-big deal.
Alabra: Come here.

Alabra went over to Shield and hugged her. She jumped a little at first, but a second afterwards she hugged back. Even after Sun Dragon spoke, Alabra didn't let go.

Sun Dragon: Am I interrupting something?
Alabra: Oh no, no. She's just uneasy around new people sometimes. This is the first time I've heard about her actually meeting people other then me or the teachers. Yesterday was her first mission, and she did great. Didn't you Shield?
Force Shield: .....
Alabra: (quietly) Is it okay if I tell him?
Force Shield: ......(quietly) Just about my....."condition".
Alabra: You see Sun Dragon, Shield suffers from PTSD.
Sun Dragon: Really?! No wonder.... H-how bad is it?
Alabra: Could be worse. Oh, don't think that's why she's so shy. She just doesn't want to trigger any meltdowns or anything, you know?
Sun Dragon: I see. If there's anything I can do for you Shield, I'll do it for you no questions asked. Promise.
Force Shield: ..... (quietly) T-thank you....

Alabra was still hugging her throughout the the whole conversation. Shield finally pushed Alabra gently to let go of her, though she only did it since they had guests. Guest, more like it.

Alabra: (clears throat) Thank you Sun Dragon. Believe me both of us appreciate your help. She doesn't mean to be so reclusive all the time, she just doesn't mean to keep her "condition" a secret, it's just a little... awkward to talk about it in public, I guess. You know?
Sun Dragon: I understand. I'm glad she has a roommate that's caring and understanding as you are Alabra. I hate to leave so soon, but I told my friends I'd meet them later and-
Alabra: No problem Sun. Come back anytime! We'd love to have you over again, wouldn't we Shield?
Force Shield: .... (nods)...
Sun Dragon: I'd love to come back here sometime! Nice meeting you both!

Sun Dragon began to leave the room, but he stopped when he could've sworn he heard Shield mumble something that Sun Dragon couldn't hear.

Sun Dragon: Did you say something Shield?
Force Shield:😔......
Alabra: Go on.
Force Shield:.... It's Mayflo(pronounced May-fl-ow). Your friend C-Cosmic asked earlier and... My real name is Mayflo. Everyone calls me Force Shield because of my powers and all.
Alabra: There you go. See, not so hard is it?
Sun Dragon:😊 That's a beautiful name, Mayflo. You shouldn't hide it at all from others. Really, I mean it. Well, I have to go. See you around May!

Sun Dragon left the room closing the door behind him, then began running out of the hallway to invite some of his friends to meet Eteru. He didn't see it, but Forc- I mean, Mayflo waved goodbye to him as he was leaving. After he left Alabra hugged Mayflo again, and of course she hugged back. A small tear fell down her cheek, ruining some of her make-up.

Mayflo: Thank you...
Alabra: Mm-hm. No need to thank me May. I'm proud of you, you know that?
Mayflo: "Proud"? For what? Yesterday? You already-
Alabra: I mean for making friends May. I'm proud of you for making friends here. That's what.
Mayflo:..... You think I atta tell him? About...you know....
Alabra: I think you need to wait a little before telling anyone other then the Senseis about that, but that's your call May.
Mayflo: Yeah... I guess you're right..... Thank you.... so much.

Before you ask, I checked and I found that I got most of the symptoms of PTSD, short for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, right.
-heightened reactions
-sense of loneliness
-anxiety
-probably one or two other things idk

I also imagine Force Shield having trouble sleeping at night. Basically insomnia. And even when she sleeps she might get nightmares(they'll not be because Dreamcatcher invaded her head alright). Both of which are symptoms of PTSD. And yes, there are treatments for such, therapy and medications.

Force Shield and Alabra were made by joltiklover on Devaintart. The thing about Force Shield's real name is something I came up personally. And the PTSD.

Eteru is a Skylander OC by SpyroAndToothless. He just started here on Wattpad and is a fan of anything dragon related. You can find a picture of Eteru in my Fiction and Fantasy book.

So. Many. References to stuff in this book! Scare Scape(which is an actual book), Kingdom Hearts, even a pokemon reference! Or creepypasta if you know about Lost Silver and his cinnamon bun nature and popularity.

And if anyone who reads this book actually has PTSD, I wish I was there to support you in person. This is all I can do though, so I hope you like it and understand Force Shield for what she goes through. She's quickly becoming my fave character, and Sun Dragon's supposed to be the star!
