After telling everyone about his findings about the potential threat of the Dark Dragonslayer, Sun Dragon waa told to leave the most important missions for the professionals; the Skylanders themselves. He prayed that they would be alright. Hopefully this ship Scorpius was working on didn't have anything to do with the Dark Dragonslayer, but one couldn't tell with Scorpius involved and needed to ready for anything.

Vilay was staying at the Academy, mostly for her own protection. Emolition was back to his usual emotionless self with no real "side effects" to the events of two days prior. All and all, things were... kinda getting back to its usual pace. Still, Sun Dragon still wanted to crank up his game to keep up with everything. Especially if what Sirin told him, Mixcoatl, and Fin-Point about Eteru is true. Oh, and Sailiga too. He was there.

So it was good news when his Elemental Class was doing the PvP training battles with another class again. This time, however, they weren't fighting the Dark Elemental Class. It was the Magic Elemental Class they were going up against.

Magic... Some consider it complex and a fantasy beyond realization and belief. For Skylands, it was very real and very simple. It was a form of energy that could take any form. Light, Dark, Life, Undead... just about anything and everything. It's very complicated for those who can't comprehend Magic, but it was like a neutral energy force that drives many other energies.

The Magic Elemental Class was lead by the Skylander Dune Bug, with his generations old knowledge and mastery of Magic. And the specific class at that time? Eteru, Cosmic, and May's!

Mayflo: (shaking) I-I-I-I h-hate P-P-PvP f-f-fights... *Whimpers*😟
Lance Light: Easy girl, easy! You don't have to do this if you don't want to.
Eteru: Um, she's avoided pretty much every one of these PvP get togethers. She kinda has to this time I think.
Mayflo: (shaking violently) I-I-I-I-I w-wish A-a-alabra was h-h-here... *Whimpers*😭
Cosmic: Calm yourself May! You freaking out is freaking me out!
Sun Dragon: May! May! Calm down! Breath deeply okay?
Flaradise: I'm sure Dune will understand if you don't want to do it now May.
Eteru: I think the real problem is the fact there's no telling what any of you Light Elemental lot can do. I mean, there's some serious bruisers from the looks of things!

Eteru stood like a meerkat and looked around at the other Light Elemental cadets. Some were angels. Some were strange beings that Eteru didn't recognize. He even spotted a clouded leopard-like warrior in full dragon scale armor. And they all looked pretty tough and in peak condition...

Lance Light: I don't think you'll have too much to worry about May. Today we're doing Double Time.
Sun Dragon and Eteru: "Double Time"? Oh, jinx!😂
Flaradise: 2Pv2P. Team battle essentially.
Cosmic: The fights and teams are always random, so you'll never know what might happen!
Sun Dragon: 😮Oh! Sounds interesting!
Eteru: You're probably ok then May! You'll have someone in your corner out there!
Mayflo: (shaking) "P-p-p-probably"? 😟
Sun Dragon: May, if you're going to be a Skylander, then you have to fight eventually. Sometimes peace can only be achieved with a slight amount of conflict. It's not avoidable in a place like Skylands, and especially with Scorpius getting more threatening by the day. Please, at least give it your best shot May! No one ever really gets hurt during these training battles anyway. Come on. Try...
Cosmic: He's right May. At least try. Who knows? You may take the field like a shooting star out there!
Mayflo: *Whimpers* ...I-I-I'll think about it... I guess.
Sun Dragon: That's better. 😊 You'll be fine May!

Double Time is meant to help students understand the importance of being in a team, coordinate strategies, combining powers, and a whole lot more! Naturally, they were using a much larger field for the training session to allow more free room for the cadets. As you might've guessed, the cadets were randomized and chosen separately, so the teams and match-ups were always different.

Today, two Light Elemental cadets vs two Magic Elemental cadets. Which will come out stronger today?

Cadets came and fought, two by two, until a specific name was chosen for the next session.

Astroblast: Cadet one for Light team... Sun Dragon!
Sun Dragon: Ah! My turn!

Sun Dragon was eager for this training session. He wondered who else will be in on it. Like his would-be partner.

Boy... was he in for a shock... you'll see.

Astroblast: Cadet two for Light team... Ajey Tomerarenai!

Sun Dragon heard the sound of metallic boots clanking to the stone ground before they reached the interior of the grass covered field. He saw his partner, Ajey, was a clouded leopard with brilliantly built armor. She carried a silver staff by her like a hiking stick, and it was thin and pointed to pure sharpness, kinda like a toothpick. She stopped next to Sun Dragon and eyed him. Sunny saw that her left ear was nearly nonexistent if it weren't for the rip marks left behind hinting to what had happened to it.

Sun Dragon: Ajey! Nice name! Call me Sun Dragon, or Sunny for short!
Ajey: ... Hmph. Stuck with a softie. This'll be interesting.
Sun Dragon: Well, you don't look so unlike a sourpuss yourself miss.
Ajey: 😐... Not sure if I should be angered by that remark or impressed that came from such a softie. Guess you'll be happy to know I'll only be using about 2-3% of my power here, so don't worry about me. Softie.
Sun Dragon: Well. I'll try to comply. Sourpuss.
Dune Bug: Cadet one for the Magic team... Bismuth Feather!

A bright blue blur dashed into the field before stopping some distance ahead of Sunny and Ajey. She was a peacock with gorgeously woven purple clothes and big jade eyes. Her tails feathers were impressive as well, but then who isn't impressed by pure golden feathers! With sharp daggers ofmthe same color and likely same material, Bismuth looked like the kind of contender that you don't mess around with.

Bismuth: So you're the amazing Sun Dragon everyone's talking about huh? You may be able to hold your own against some crazy dragon, but this bird will make ya think twice about charging into a fight!
Ajey: Hmmm... She seems eager for a fight. I can deal with her if you want. I'm eager for a brawl myself...
Sun Dragon: That's the spirit Ajey!

It was strangely a moment before the next name was told. Sunny was starting to think that it must've been someone who said they didn't feel like training that day in particular and the teachers were drawing another name.

But Sunny understood the silence after the name was finally called.

Dune Bug: (clears throat) Cadet two of the Magic team... Force Shield Lavandara!

Uh oh.

Mayflo: (shaking) Uh-uh, um... Pr-prepare for a fight! You... um... Oh gosh... um... 😖
Sun Dragon: Oh boy. 😕
Ajey: 😬 Is she for real? Looks like she ain't got a violent bone in her body. Such a waste. She's fixing to get boned to the ground six feet under.
Sun Dragon: Ajey! She's not used to fighting! Maybe I should've kept my mouth shut. She's out here because of me. 😦
Ajey: Oh Christ, don't tell me you're friends with her. God that complicates things. 😡
Bismuth: The shy girl is finally getting involved huh?
Mayflo: Uh... um... Wh-what?
Bismuth: Good to see someone get some confidence!😊 Listen, I'm here for ya Force. All the way! Just hope you brought ya sunglasses because we're gonna blind them with their own light out there!😎
Mayflo: 😦 B-b-but what about Sunny? I-I can't just... "fight" him!
Bismuth: What about Sun- Oh... Oh! Honey, you know him? I didn't realize. Look doll, if ya'll are friends then that's all the more likely he'll go easy on ya. Normally I'd let ya take the other person but dang she looks dressed for overkill. I'll take the cat, ok hon?
Mayflo: Um, I-I guess... Sorry Sun!
Sun Dragon: Ajey, I can handle Shield. You-
Ajey: Yeah yeah I'll handle Tweety Bird over there. I like the feisty ones.
Sun Dragon: Just act natural Shield! Don't worry about it!
Mayflo: ...Um... Mimes don't act "natural". They- Oh! Oh, um, o-ok? I'll try...
Bismuth: Prepare to eat dirt clouded leopard! I'll knock you to extinction!
Ajey: What did she just call me!? Oh it's so on b***h no one insults me and gets away with it!😠
Sun Dragon: Um... You do know you are a... You know what we're supposed to be on the same side let's not start something.

Eteru: I can't look!

Cosmic: Careful out there you guys!

3...

Astroblast: BEGIN TRAINING!

Ajey immediately made a beeline towards Bismuth. Good thing Bismuth was an acrobatic and was quick on the draw of her daggers. The two were like tigers in a cage! May and Sun? Well... What would you expect?

May put up her shield as Sun sent some of his fireworks at her. But after that she didn't want to put the shield down.

Sun Dragon: Shield come on! You're allowed to throw something at me! Something!

May eventually put the shield, but after doing so she started sending a whole barrage of magic orbs at Sunny! Sun was dodging them left and right, but there were actually some close calls between them because of the sheer amount of orbs that were being fired at him. Sun was actually starting to panic.

Bismuth: That-a girl Force! Don't give him a break! Whoa! Missed me kitty cat! Haha!
Ajey: Come here and fight like a woman you! *snarls*
Bismuth: Whoop! Missed again! Haha!

Ajey swung her staff multiple times  at Bismuth in hopes of hitting her at least once, but Bismuth was being too quick. Then again Ajey was no slowpoke herself. Her reflexes were astonishing and not to be believed. And she wasn't tiring out anytime soon.

After a moment passed, the pace that May was throwing her orbs was starting to slow. She must've been losing energy. That gave Sun the opportunity to throw one of his pearls at May. He hate to, but this was a training session. The pearl rolled to May's feet, and by the time May noticed it the pearl flashed a bright light and blinded her. Sun began to take the chance and charge at her, but then May brought her hand up and began charging whatever magic she was about to use. When Sun jumped to take an aerial advantage, May suddenly summoned a wall construct that blocked Sun! Sunny was shocked. He had not known May to be able to do these things. Just then May launched the wall construct at him! He managed to run around just in time, but then May regained her sight and began to launch other blocks of magic energy at Sun, and those were arguably harder to dodge then May's orbs! Sun even tripped over one of the blocks and hit head first into the ground! May started throwing magic orbs again and Sun was this close to being hit by them.

However, one stray orb actually almost hit Bismuth if she hadn't dodged it. But maybe she should've let it hit her, because Ajey didn't see it coming and it exploded right in her face with a bang!

As Ajey groaned from the impact, May ceased and froze like a deer in headlights upon realizing what had happened. Her chest was going in and out like a mouse out of breath, out of fear of what Ajey would do.

And Ajey wasn't happy. She gave May the "evil eye" and snarled like the king of beasts.

Oh no...

Ajey: 😠 THAT'S IT! YOU'RE DEAD MEAT ELF! *roar*

Ajey practically ran Bismuth over as she charged directly for May! And she clotheslined Sunny with her staff as she began to pounce towards the magical elf! Nothing was stopping her now!

May naturally put up her shield like a dome around her as Ajey hit it with all her might. Ajey didn't let up as she repeatedly struck the shield construct, waiting for May to run out of energy to keep the shield up.

Ajey: COME ON YOU WUSS! FIGHT ME! COME ON! HIT ME WITH THE BEST SHOT YOU GOT!
Bismuth: *panting* Well... guess we switch now?
Sun Dragon: *panting* Wha- What about Shield? Ajey will rip her apart at this rate!
Bismuth: Hmph. I saw how she made you trip up Sunny. And you of all people know how hard it is to make an oriental slip up like that. Besides, if the teachers haven't stopped things yet, then things will be fine. Now, let's see what you got Sun!

Sun was still spent from dodging May's attacks. It surprised him that he was able to dodge Bismuth's next attack. He hadn't been paying attention to what Bismuth was capable of during her fight with Ajey, so it really shocked him when Bismuth was teleporting around him rapidly throwing her golden daggers at him. If this was Bismuth's strategy all along...

It was working in her favor.

Meanwhile Ajey was still taunting May into dropping her shield and fighting her. Eventually May got an idea and summoned magic orbs around Ajey, throwing them at her at once. And it worked! Ajey was thrown back by the attack enough for May to drop her shield and start throwing her orbs at Ajey like she did with Sun, this time throwing in some of her block and wall constructs as well. Ajey stood in place and hit each of the incoming attacks with her staff and occasionally blocked some of the more direct ones with her metal arm shield. Ajey's shield looked as if it was made of metal feathers that spun and extended when she needed it to serve its function. Ajey was kinda regretting letting Astroblast talk her out of wearing her skull helmet. Fortunately, he let Ajey take a small little thing with into this fight.

Ajey: *quietly* Droid, shock.

Her "droid", a small red robot octopus looking thing, popped off her back and crawled up to May and gave her an electric shock strong enough to stun her before she even noticed it. Ajey took the chance and charged at May again and sprung into the air to avoid any attack May might try to fire at her. May managed to recover in just enough time to construct a magic block tall enough to make Ajey hit it's top side, making her lose her staff. However, it didn't stop Ajey from landing on May, and Ajey still had her clawed gloves to attack with. May managed to catch and hold tightly both of Ajey's wrists as Ajey had attempted to grab her. May was this close to finally losing it and bust out crying when she noticed something about Ajey's gloves. Apparently one of her orbs must've of burned off some of the fabric that made up Ajey's gloves, leaving the interior metal that made up the claws to fall out and making the paw exposed.

But that's when May noticed something else about Ajey's paws... Her eyes widened upon realizing it...

The gloves were for more then intimidation... they hid an age old scar... or rather scars... that any feline like Ajey would've rathered died then show it...

Mayflo: *quietly* My God... What happened to your real claws? Did... Oh God, were they ripped out?
Ajey: *gasp* ... *quietly* Don't remind me... *snarl*

Ajey used May's holding her wrists to her advantage and swung her around, eventually making May let go and throwing her. Bismuth managed to catch May before she could hit the ground. Ajey grabbed her staff and charged the both of the Magic cadets with no concern of her wellfare. May summoned a shield again, making Ajey ram right into it and stunning the feline. Bismuth took the opportunity and jump-kicked Ajey, making the warrior fall backwards to the grass covered ground. After Bismuth saw that Ajey didn't immediately get back up, she put one of her clawed feet on top of Ajey's arm.

Bismuth: Yield yet cat?
Ajey: *panting* ...
Sun Dragon: Might as well Ajey. I already yielded...
Ajey: *panting* Fine... I yield... but only because I was blind in my tactics against you...
Dune Bug: Point to the Magic Class!

Everyone cheered to the brilliant battle! What a show!

Bismuth started to walk off to take in the cheering. May was too busy panting to notice Ajey preparing one last thing against the elf. Ajey swung her staff, tripping May to the ground by both feet. As Ajey slowly got up Bismuth and Sun noticed what had happened and immediately took action.

Bismuth: Hey! What was that about!?
Ajey: What? She let her guard down. You should never let your guard down at a warrior until their last breath. Simple logic.
Sun Dragon: It's also a rule that you shouldn't atrack an opponent who isn't prepared to fight you!😡
Ajey: That's for martial artists, not warriors. Look, she won, I admit that. Come on and get up you, I was only-

When Ajey extended her paw to help May up, May suddenly slapped it away and looked at Ajey with a face of anger. Something May never showed before...

Mayflo: *quietly* Curse you! I don't need YOUR help pussycat! *panting*
Ajey: 😐 ...Well! Looks like the elf has learned to bark. But can she learn to bite? Plus that's the second time today someone's called me something with "puss" in it. Not sure if that's a chauvinistic thing to rage about or if that's just me... Whatever. Like it bothers me. So sorry to bother you... Shield, was it?

Ajey walked off finally as Bismuth helped May up. May felt something touch her leg and saw it was Ajey's octopus droid thing. It was hugging her leg, like it was apologizing, or just really liked May. Ajey eventually noticed her droid being missing and saw what it was doing.

Ajey: Octo-probe! *whistles* Come on. She obviously wants nothing to do with us...

Ajey turned again and began walking again as her droid looked up at May, made some low mechanical noise like it was sad to leave, and literally flew off after Ajey. Sun watched as Ajey stopped and looked back once before letting "Octo-probe" as she called it crawl back onto her back and starting off again, disappearing into the crowd.

Sun could tell that she was in fact holding back. And that she was going to be a real thorn in their sides. Just what was her deal?

Eteru, Cosmic, Lance, and Flare came in to check on Sun and May. Apparently Vilay had been watching from afar and came to get a closer look as well.

Bismuth: You alright Force?
Mayflo: (shaking) Y-yeah, I guess...
Bismuth: Don't worry hon, I got ya.
Eteru: Shield, that was amazing! I had no clue you could do any of that!
Cosmic: That was incredible! Both you and Bismuth won that fight like bosses! Congrats!
Mayflo: (shaking) W-we won?... Oh lord, we did d-didn't we? ... (chuckles nervously) W-wow, an a-actual f-fight and e-everything...
Lance Light: Are you ok? You look-
Mayflo: (chuckles nervously) N-no, I'm fine... I just... just... (starts crying)😭
Bismuth: Aaww. There there doll, I got ya. Sshhh. It's over now.

Bismuth held May and let her cry into her clothes as they went to the side and sat down. May cryed through the majority of the rest of the Magic and Light training sessions. Sun and all of them were constantly telling May that she was amazing out there. Vilay didn't say anything of course. She was observing everything. She personally couldn't comprehend why May was crying. She had won after all. Then again Vilay had only just met May. Must be something Vilay had yet to know about her. That's how Vilay's mind works, I tell ya.

Eventually May finally calmed down from the huge adrenaline rush she had from the fight and had caused her outburst of tears. She wasn't sure whether to be happy that she put up such a good fight or happy she somehow survived the wrath of Ajey.

Bismuth: You were terrific out there Force! Terrific! Ajey may have had a point about the guard thing, but don't take that too seriously honey!
Sun Dragon: Again, thank you for helping Shield out there Ms. Bismuth. This is a real blessing to have someone like you here.
Bismuth: Aahhh, don't mention it Sunny! I just like helping out my girls.
Eteru: Something that confuses me Bismuth. You're a peacock right? But female peacocks don't have colorful feathers like you do-

Suddenly Bismuth threw some of her daggers at Eteru's feet, making him jump in shock.

Bismuth: This is Skylands, not Earth! Anything can happen! I swear, can't anyone tell from how I walk, how I talk, and how I act that I'm an actual lady? Gah😡.
Eteru: 😕 S-sorry miss! I was just saying!
Flaradise: (chuckles) Good to see you still have the nerve to stand up for yourself Bismuth.
Bismuth: Keep an eye on him will ya Flare? Got his 'ead in the clouds a bit.
Flaradise: (chuckles) We will.
Mayflo: Th-thank you again Ms. Bismuth... And please, call me by my real name Mayflo. Or May for short if ya want.
Bismuth: No problem May!😁 And hey, don't let that Ajey get to ya doll! She's just stubborn. You could tell.
Mayflo: Y-yeah... *quietly* Or maybe she's just been through some things...😔
Bismuth: Welp, gotta go rest up for me next class! Nice meeting ya'll!

Later

The Senseis called for a gathering of cadets again later. This time, King Pen told everyone that Master Eon had to go on important business somewhere and that a trusted friend would take his place for a while.

Her name was Verraten le Muerte, and wow, was she something else to look at!

She was a skeleton that looked like she just came out of a Day of the Dead celebration! Or was the SuperCharger Fiesta's grandma, which ever works for you. She were a black trenchcoat, with colorful Day of the Dead patterns of course, that covered a majority of her Undead bones. She also wore pink high heels with flower decor on them. And she had the biggest hat this side of Skylands I tell you! It was a big light purple hat that shaded her from the sun perfectly, and it had these big, fluffy colored feathers on its top! She was a sight!

Muerte: (clears throat) H-hello everyone! Forgive me, I'm a bit new at this talking to a crowd thing.*giggles* Yes, I'm a dear friend of Master Eon's, and I'll do my best to fill in for him while he's away. I hope all of you youngsters don't mind!😅
King Pen: I'm sure we'll all enjoy your stay here Ms.Muerte. Thank you.
Muerte: Oh, anything for a sweetie like Eon King Pen! *giggles* Now, to show you all how wonderful I am, I made you all some delicious cookies! Take as many as you like; I have more in Pepperjack's kitchen waiting for all of you!😆

Nearly everyone immediately went for the freshly baked iced cookies! The cadets were already loving he idea of having Muerte around!
