Nighttime

Sailiga stepped out while Eteru slept and walked for some time. He walked, enjoying the cool air and the sounds of nature. He walked until he came to an empty field some ways away from the Academy. And in a somewhat fearful tone, he started to talk. Not to himself, but to another... out there...

Sailiga: Carina? Carina, what has happened? ...I'm afraid you're too late. The barrier was weak enough for Reba to come through. Now she's here in Skylands, waiting for the right time to gather what she needs to summon her brothers... No! No Carina, it isn't your fault! You couldn't help what has delayed you! Our Lord knows what he is allowing here. He will have done what he wishes. Oh? Then quickly Carina, make haste before another Worldender overhears you! ...*sigh* Lord almighty, hear my plea. I trust in your decisions for all, but please, Skylands has so much to offer just to end at the hands of a corrupt Worldender. Please... if you wish for Skylands to live on, then send me a sign... Something to show that we aren't alone in this battle and something to show the Worldenders of their ignorance... P-please...

Sailiga hung his head low and began to shed a tear. Well, almost... If he didn't feel something.

He looked up, and almost immediately, he saw what many would call a shooting star. However, this was bright emerald green and it looked as though it crashed onto a far away island. Sailiga immediately knew what this meant...

He smiled gleefully and could hardly contain himself!

Sailiga: Oh what happy times greeko! Thank you Lord, thank you! I must prepare for tomorrow at once!

The Next Day

As per usual for that time of day, a certain elf mime was reading a book for a little quiz in her next class. May always was a bit of a bookworm after all. After seeing the time, May started to pack up what books she needed to take with her and planned to go back to her and Alabra's room when she caught sight of something. Or rather someone.

It was a dragon cadet, one May hadn't seen before. He was bipedal from the way he sat. He wore traditional armor and he seemed to have a sword or two on him. A majority of his body was covered in purple scales, much like Spyro, but certain areas had somewhat transparent frill-like scales tinted light blue, teal, and silver in the light. Same colors for his tail frills. His horns, belly, and wings were red and orange, while his claws were just orange. The dragon sat there reading an old novel of some sort while surrounded by many stacks of books. And May thought she was the bookworm in these parts!

A thought went through the elf girl's mind. Maybe she should try introducing herself to the dragon? It would really help boost her esteem and confidence. And it would make everyone she knew so proud of her for doing so. Finally, after some serious thought, she decided to give it a shot and walked over to the dragon.

Mayflo: U-uh, um... H-hi! A-are you new here?
???: (still reading)
Mayflo: Um... E-excuse me. I-I hate to bother you b-but, um, I was just wondering if you're new here?
???: *sigh* Can't you see that I'd rather be alone then- Oh my God you're a woman ok! 😨
Mayflo: Uh... I-is there a pr-problem about that?
???: 😨...I... Uh...
Mayflo: 😯 Pl-please, if there's s-something wrong about me I-I'm so sorry I-I just wanted to talk to you...
???: 😨 ....*shivers slightly* N-no, I-it's j-just... *mumbling* Oh God...
Mayflo: 😦 Y-you don't have to say anything. I-I shouldn't have spoke to you and started this. I-I'm so s-sorry!😢

May, tearing up from what she thought was such a screw-up of a first impression, went away from the dragon and quickly disappeared from sight. The dragon tried to reach his hand out to her before she practically ran off in the false hope that she'd see him do so, but that was in vain.

The dragon never meant to make her upset. She was clearly just trying to be nice and he blew it. The dragon was so ticked off at himself for the incident he clearly made. Why didn't he know how to talk to girls of any species!?

???: Gah I'm such an idiot! Stupid, stupid, stupid! Why didn't the Chronicler take care of any girl dragons along with the rest of us!? Grr! 😤 Hopefully by the time I figure out how to talk to a female I can get the chance to apologize to that elf. Poor sensitive heart... She must be hurt from my idiocy.😔
???: Cadet Fireburn, yes?

The dragon, named Fireburn, looked up at the voice and saw what he'd eventually find out to be Verraten le Muerte's assistant speaking to him. Where did s-she come from all of a sudden!?

???: Forgive me if I am disturbing you, but my mistress requests your presence by the docks.
Fireburn: 😨 Uh... I-I-
???: Need not say anything. My mistress told me you're... how to politely say... not fully adjusted to campus activities. If you could please simply come with me I shall take you to Sensei Mysticat at the docks.
Fireburn: 😨 O-oh... Um... O-ok...

Fireburn placed his novel down onto the table and slowly got up to follow the strange elf assistant. She seemed to float like a ghost as she lead a still very nervous Fireburn to the docks where, sure enough, Master Mysticat waited. As soon as Master Mysticat saw that they were coming and started walking towards Fireburn, Muerte's assistant left the two alone.

Master Mysticat: Ah, you must be one of our newest cadets!
Fireburn: Yes sensei, I am. I enrolled here about a week ago.
Master Mysticat: That's good. How has your time here at Skylanders Academy been?
Fireburn: Well, it's quite an adjustment for me, but I think with time I will be quite familiar with everything.
Master Mysticat: That's good to hear. Listen, I realize you're new, but Muerte felt that your skills were appropriate for a little mission she needs done.
Fireburn: Oh? So soon? What is this mission?
Master Mysticat: Well, we have received a report from a mabu village about a meteor crashing into a meadow area not far from the mabu residence. Normally we'd tell them to calm themselves and let some scientists check it out, but their description of the meteor seems strange. According to the report it's a large meteor made entirely of emerald mineral.
Fireburn: Really? That is odd.
Master Mysticat: Furthermore, the meteor seems to be radiating with some kind of low-level energy. And considering we have monsters such as Develon and Scorpius out there, we can't take any chances. We want to send you on a solo mission to scout out the area and check the meteor out for yourself, then bring it back to us here where no villians can get to it. Can you do this?
Fireburn: I can and shall Master Mysticat! (Bows) I will take my leave now if you so wish for me so.
Master Mysticat: I was told you had some other weapons with you. Do you want to take those with you on this mission in case Scorpius or Develon or some other villian attempts to take the meteor?
Fireburn: Hmm... I suppose I should just in case. I will return as soon as possible with my equipment. Wait for my return here.
Master Mysticat: Of course Fireburn.

Later

Fireburn was on Flynn's ship, being taken to the madu village where this meteor was. He had all of his weaponry packed and ready in the event Fireburn encountered any trouble. His swords, bow and arrows, his two scythes. All ready.

Fireburn decided to go down and make sure one last time that he packed everything for this mission. He didn't want to seem like he worried all the time, but he wanted to succeed at his first mission to the best of his abilities. He went down to where he had hidden them from any of Flynn's other passengers and started moving boxes to get to them. Suddenly something popped out like a Jack-in-the-box and nearly scared all the scales off of Fireburn. Another individual shot out of another box shortly after that. Fireburn immediately pulled out one of his swords and pointed it at the stowaways. Unbeknownst to Fireburn, it was Sailiga and Crocavile that were hiding in the boxes!

Sailiga: Ah! Finally we meet greeko! What took you so long laddie?
Crocavile: Yeah! Seriously, my sensitive bones were starting to cramp up waiting for you to get back down here! (Cracks his back bones) Ooohhhh yeeaaah, that hit the spot.😆
Fireburn: Who are you!? What are you!? WHY are you!? Answer me fiends!
Sailiga: "Fiends"? Oh no greeko! We're quite the opposite! I'm Sailiga Manu, a Questing Beast, and this is Crocavile, a crocodile skeleton brought to life! We're cadets just as you are meke, and we wanted to help with that meteor!
Crocavile: Yeah! A huge chunk of emerald like that otta be worth quite alot of money!
Fireburn: H-how did you know about the mission!? I was issued only to me! And why wait for me to be here!?
Sailiga: Calm yourself selece, stress kills you know. Ms.Muerte thinks she was the only one who saw that meteor but she be mistaken greeko. I saw it clear as day last night myself!
Crocavile: And to properly check that meteor through and through, Sally here picked me out of a million to help him!
Sailiga: And Fireburn, I saw you this morning and knew immediately that you and this meteor were both a part of the solution to my dilemma greeko!
Fireburn: What!?
Crocavile: That part I don't quite understand either but hey as long as I get rich off this emerald meteor I'm sold for some service! Kekeke!
Sailiga: Listen to me Fireburn, and listen well. You have a special power inside you. It will hopefully be that of which will help us against this enemy meke.
Fireburn: I-I don't understand what you're saying. What power? What enemy?
Crocavile: Crazy dog witch lady with a bunch of katanas or whatever they're called. Seen her around?
Fireburn: What? No! Listen, I don't know what you're here for but I will report this to the Senseis when-
Sailiga: What? Listen laddie YOU better start thinking. We are clearly long gone from the Academy, so the only real chance you'll get at reporting us greeko is when we get back, but by the time we do, well...
Crocavile: Mission complete! Soooo... You're kinda stuck with us for a bit.😆

Fireburn took a few steps back, took a few breaths, and thought about it. These... creatures were telling him about something he knew nothing about while also telling him about the meteor. The only place Flynn's ship had docked since Fireburn got on was Skylanders Academy, so by logic these guys had to be cadets. And they were begrudgingly but admittingly right; he couldn't really report them at the moment. Things were quickly not looking like "his day" for Fireburn.

Sailiga: Listen Fireburn, I know things seem stressed, but believe me this was for the best greeko. We don't mind if you don't understand anything about this dilemma I spoke of, for in time you will understand. Let us ally for now, for we all want to protect this meteor we all seek here. Come now laddie, don't be so stubborn yeah?
Fireburn: I'm not stubborn😡!... But I guess I am stuck with you two at the moment. *sigh* Fine, but only because we can't just turn back to the Academy.
Crocavile: Sweet! You're a real pal! (Pats Fireburn's back) Ow! OhmiGod you're molten hot!😣
Fireburn: I'm Fire elemental. Of course my scales burn at the touch of cool hands. Best not to get too close to me if you can't stand the heat Croc.
Crocavile: (blowing on his hand) Will do boss!😅
Sailiga: Good to know Fireburn! Now let us relax while we go ever closer to the meteor's current location!
Fireburn: *sigh* Not like I have much other choice.😒

After their encounter, Sailiga and Crocavile remained in the lower levels of the Dreadyaught until they arrived and docked on the island of which the meteor crashed. As Fireburn took his weapons and left the ship towards where the village was, Sailiga and Crocavile popped out again and walked along side of Fireburn. They made some light small chat before they heard what sounded like a fight some distance ahead of them. An argument. And Sailiga clearly knew what they already feared.

What other two sadistic dragons would fight over a glowing rock after all? If you guessed Develon and Scorpius, that's 2+ Smarts for you (cheers to anyone who comments correctly what I just referenced here).

Develon was running, holding the emerald meteor over his head with his little chibi arms. The little Bubble Dragon demon looked behind him at Scorpius chasing him, and laughed at the scorpion tailed tyrant. Suddenly he felt someone grab the meteor and before getting a good look or reaction, he was tripped and fell to the ground. It was Scorpius' newest dragon recruit- or recruits?- Gema and Gemi! As the dual-headed sociopath began running, Develon got back up and started flying after the dragon. Suddenly Scorpius tackled the chibi demon and knocked him to the ground, beginning a fist fight.

Sailiga: 😲Ah, the meteor!
Crocavile: I got it! You two keep those footloops busy for meh! I'll set that freak straight and nab that gem! Hahaha! (Runs off)
Fireburn: Croc! Gah, how do we know he'll be able to get the meteor!?
Sailiga: If he can sneak into me and my roommate's dorm room at night and steal something even with me there, he can take a giant emerald greeko.
Fireburn: How do we know he won't just take the meteor for himself?
Sailiga: ...Two words Fireburn. "Faith" and "trust".
Fireburn: So either way we're screwed. Perfect.
Sailiga: We have to make sure Scorpius and Develon don't get the emerald regardless selece. Any plans?
Fireburn: Hmm... (takes out a scythe) You take the one of the left and you take the one on the right?
Sailiga: Best plan I know greeko! Now be careful. Scorpius may not be terribly bright but he can leave quite a scorch!
Fireburn: I've heard Develon likes to bring the house down himself. Don't worry, I've been subject to worse.

Meanwhile

Crocavile: Come here!
Gema: 😨What!?
Gemi: 😲AH! It's that idiot Crocavile! I thought they locked you up at Cloudcracker! Well whatevs! You can't have any of this- What the!? Where's-
Crocavile: Kekeke! Got it! You still suck at stealing Gemi! I'd stick my tongue out at ya but I lost mine when I became undead! Haha! Better luck next time!

Crocavile, with the meteor in his boney hands, began running back to Flynn's ship. But then Gemi used his tail to trip Crocavile while Gema used her tail to grab the meteor. Crocavile immediately got up and tried to get the meteor back, but Gema used her hand to keep Croc just out of reach. Gemi cackled at how Croc already forgot how strong his Gema side was.

Gemi: 😂Hahaha! What's the matter Croc? Being goodie-goodie making you slow? Hehehaha!
Gema: G-gemi please. Can't we share the profits even once? It's the nice thing to-
Gemi: Shut up sis! Kaos didn't let us live with his trolls just to split the payload with the enemy! Now keep Croc away from the rock will ya!?
Gema: *Whimpers*
Crocavile: Grr! You seriously think Kaos will reward you for your labor? Ha! Don't make me laugh! Oh wait, I just did! HA!
Gemi: Oooo, what'cha wearing there Croc? A necklace with aquamarine? 😮
Crocavile: Don't you dare touch it!
Gema: Gemi please don't-
Gemi: I got a inplusive disorder! I gotta touch it if someone tells me not to!
Crocavile: DON'T YOU DARE!😠

As Gemi's hand approached Crocavile's necklace, Crocavile bit down as hard as possible on his hand, causing Gemi to scream and shake his arm violently to shake the crocodile off! Eventually Gemi managed to shake Crocavile off, but in the process it caused Gema to drop the meteor and they fell over back first. Crocavile immediately pinned the dual-headed dragon down and looked at them with eyes of fury.

Crocavile: NOW LISTEN TO ME YOU LITTLE S**T! I've been real nice to ya up until now! You've gotten just a little too far! This necklace right here is to show that there are folks out there that actually see through the whole lying little whore act and see a heart of gold! And Kaos? He AIN'T one of those folks! Sure, he gives ya all you want... if he thinks you're useful to him. I know his kind. Count Moneybone was like that. No... He doesn't deserve me calling him "Count" anymore...
Gemi: Well SSSOOO sorry! But my own people didn't want me!
Crocavile: Maybe because you kept telling white lies man... Big, fat, white lies...
Gemi: Ha! Like you!?
Crocavile: ...I don't tell those kind of lies man. See? That's the horrible cruel irony of being a spirit in a crocodile's skeleton.
Gema: What? Y-you mean you're not originally a crocodile!?😦
Crocavile: Nah man. I was once very much like a humie. I was a prankster with my lies, sure... but it was only little lies. You know, for laughs. But me and my friends were trapped and in danger one time see. Some maniac- probably someone like Furori or Malefor. Maybe even Zalgo for I know- wanted to mess with us. See what made us crazy. For ages everyone around me started getting crazy, while I tried lying and joking around just to keep everyone's spirits up. But they thought I was making it worse. I was only telling lies to help keep everyone's sanity... and my own. I had to lie to myself to keep from going crazy. But then we were given a choice. If we truly wished to leave "so soon", then we would have to go ahead and kill one amongst us to be free. And we had to decide quick because the deal wasn't going to last. Eventually... I told everyone I would let them kill me so they could leave. The one person who cared about me asked if I was really all right with that... God, these feelings... I-I lied and said I was ready for it.... Whatever they could do to me, I was willing to die for them...
Gema and Gemi: ......
Crocavile: Heh... heheheh... A-and you know the w-worse of it? Th-they... They killed me in... the worse possible way... They... They crushed my body with the largest rock they could find. Crushed me to death. I was nothing but mush afterwards. Hehehehe... Guess they thought I was seriously lying when I mentioned a while back I had a phobia of being crushed under stuff.... N-nothing but my clothes made it out man. And my soul, I guess. A-and... It... was in vain. That psycho WANTED us to kill each other. I... I still hear their screams in my skull even now...
Gema and Gemi: .......
Crocavile: You do know... what I'm getting at right? People betray you... nearly every chance they get. Especially if they think for even a minute that you're bad... I tried being good, I really did... Hahaha... But look where that got me! Crushed like a big watermelon! Unrecognizable to anyone! For all they would know, the blood wasn't really blood and it was just some joke. The bones were nothing to that big ol' rock. When I woke up... here I am, a skeleton of a crocodile. Apparently I shed one too many "crocodile tears" in my life. Too many... lies.... And they were good lies! GOOD LIES! ...Moneybone heard me out and he let me have a job under him. I learned how to manage money and gold and jewels and how to immediately estimate the value of things based off of what I knew of them. I started becoming quite a bad boy, and why not!? Look what being a good funny guy led to for me! But of course, like everyone else, Moneybone wanted ALL the money for himself! Years of service meant nothing to him... So I stole what my hands could and scidadled otta there. The rest, well, most everyone knows. Decided a second chance would be nice to at least try. Most peoole still treat me like they can't trust me... But the one who gave me this necklace... He trusted me. We didn't even know each other so well. Practically just met! And he gave this... " A token of friendship if you will." That's what he said. Since then, I've actually been making some friends. I still steal some, but that's just for jokes! Like before! *sigh* But due to that there's some crazy witch out there ready to mess everything up. You'd think everyone would be super ticked at me, but they ain't. Granted, a majority of them don't even know, but even the ones who do aren't mad at me. They say it wasn't my fault at all. One of them is counting on me to get this meteor right now! So moral of the story: start playing real nice with the people that show you can trust them, and maybe some good things will happen!
Gema: 😢
Gemi: D**n. And I thought my whole "two unborn dragons merging together" thing was messed up.
Crocavile: Please... Just leave Kaos. He'll bring you nothing but trouble for you. If anything Gemi, you could probably help us find Gemini! You seem like a crazy enough person to find him! And if I'm being honest Gema, you should really not let Gemi push you around so much. Especially if he's up to no good and you know it. You may be two people but you'll be treated like one person. Not like they can saw off the guilty half and leave the innocent one you know. Heh... A-anyway, if ya know what's right here, you'll let me take the meteor thing with me. I trust you to understand why.

Crocavile finally stood up and calmly walked over to the meteor. Gemi tried to get up after him, but Gema grasped the ground as tightly as she could to prevent Gemi from leaving. And it worked. Gemi slamed back into the ground and looked at Gema with a "are you serious" look. She gave back a "you know why" look, and that seemed to shut him up. Crocavile lifted the meteor and looked over at the dual-headed dragon.

Wow... Did he really say all of that? He really needed to tell more people sometime.

It really helps...

Crocavile: Well, looks like I can trust ya! So trust me now hm? Trust me that taking this huge rock back to the Academy where-

As Crocavile began walking away with his back to the dragon, Gemi suddenly got up to Gema's surprise and swung his tail across, slamming it right into Crocavile's head!

With Crocavile stunned, Gemi found no problem with slipping the meteor out of the crocodile's hands and taking it.

Gema: 😲Gemi!?
Gemi: Like I said sis. We don't share with the enemy. Boi, Scorpius and Kaos will enjoy the juicy info I got for 'em! (Cackles)
Gema: Gemi please stop!😣

Gemi tried stepping forward, but Gema's side wasn't moving.

No... It refused.

Gemi: Gema! What the heck!? We don't get moving Croc'll wake up and attack us! And I ain't sticking around for his hissy-fit!
Gema: Or do you not want to see how disappointed he'll be in you Gemi?
Gemi: What!?
Gema: Admit it brother. You know he trusted us to know what's right to do here. He wants us to change, like he did, for the better. I feel that sinking feeling in our shared heart Gemi...😯
Gemi: Y-yeah... Wh-what is this feeling? It... It sucks...
Gema: Betrayal Gemi. Betrayal. You know you're hurting more then just him. Please... Let's end this.
Gemi: I... Won't it be betraying Kaos to help Croc?
Gema: Kaos will probably betray us down the line, you know that! Now please... drop the emerald and help Croc back up and apologize.
Gemi: But-
Gema: Now brother. Now... or never.😦
Gemi: ......

Gemi couldn't describe the situation. Too much emotion at once for him.

But... He knew Gema was right. Croc was right, for once. Besides, Scorpius was beginning to be a jerk anyway.

Gemi put the meteor back to the ground and even dusted it off a little. Maybe he'll try the "goodie-goodie" thing for a while himself.

Him and Gema suddenly felt this sensation. A pain of some sort. It was strong enough to bring their body to the ground panting. They didn't see it yet, but the area around their chest was... changing. Gemi's red side was starting to turn white while Gema's side was turning black.

Could... Could Gema and Gemi be...?!

Meanwhile

Develon was flying fast enough to avoid Sailiga's vines (just barely). He used his fire balls to burn down the vines and get some space to evade the rest.

Scorpius would use every trick he had, and Fireburn would still be quick enough to avoid his attacks. At one point Scorpius used his black flame breath to burn the grass and create so much smoke that Fireburn couldn't see Scorpius at all. But Fireburn must've had some sixth sense or something because when Scorpius charged he felt Fireburn jump onto his head and dodge the attack.

Fireburn: Hm, let's see what we have here.

Fireburn took a deep breath and breathed fire from his mouth right at Scorpius. Wait... That was black fire, like Scorpius'!

Sailiga: *gasp* alameni! So I wasn't wrong... You do have-
Fireburn: Another time beast, we're still in a fight here and these dragons aren't backing down anytime soon.
Scorpius: *growls* I don't know how you did that but you won't get away from me forever!
Develon: No way Scar Eyes! These guys are mine! They need to know why I deserve to take Skylands as mine and ,ine alone!
Sailiga: Looks like we're caught in a crossfire greeko. Any plans?
Fireburn: Make them fight each other perhaps? They look like they want a shot at each other more then us.
Scorpius: You do realize we can hear you both right?
Develon: Not like it matters... Ya'll gonna die anyway!

Everything seemed to be at a stand-still.

Until a loud dragon's roar was heard some distance away.

Develon: The heck?
Scorpius: ...Gemi? Since when did he ever roar?

Then there was what sounded like a dragon running... And it was getting closer.

Then they all heard Crocavile's voice.

Crocavile: (yelling) Heeeey guys! Check it out! I'm riding the dragon! Hahaha!

Crocavile seemed to be piggyback riding a monochrome... dual-headed dragon?

Fireburn: What the...?
Sailiga: Uh, Crocavile? Wh-who's your new friend?
Scorpius: ...Gema? Gemi? Why the H*ll are you black and white?!
Develon: *gasp* He garhered enough exp. to evolve!😰
Scorpius: (slaps Develon) Wrong franchise you idiot! What is with the de-colorazation Gemi!?
Gemi: Oh.... Nothing really. Just realized who I really was and that white suited me better then red. Blek😝! Red is for those nasty operating rooms!
Gema: And black suits me best I think. I like yellow, don't get me wrong, but it's just... not me, you know?
Scorpius: What!?
Crocavile: Oh come on! Don't tell me you're THIS dumb! Do we have to spell it out for you? Ok, it starts with "G"...
Fireburn: What is happening here?😟
Gemi: Followed by "e","m", and "i"...
Fireburn: Seriously is anyone else feeling uncomfortable here?
Gema: Finished by "n" and "i"...
Gemi: Can you guess it!? Huh?
Sailiga: Th-the... Zodiac...
Crocavile: It's Gemini! You know, the twins!?
Gemi: Hahaha! Sorry for the wait!😅
Gema: It's impossible to wake Gemi up in the morning...😔
Gemi: But then the both of us were sleeping pretty soundly! (Stretches out) Oh yeah, definitely needed that! So mucg energy to use too! We should sleep that long more often! Hahaha!😅
Gema: Please no. The other Zodiac Warriors would never get anything done without us if we slept all the time!😟
Gemi: Hahaha! Any who, heard you were looking for us Scorpy. Well, here we are! Come and get us...

Scorpius growled and smiled maliciously, then charged forward to pounce on Gemini. But just as he was within inches of the monochrome Zodiac, he felt himself being held in midair by, what else, Magic! Gemi's jet black eyes glowed red like mercury metal as he swung his hand across, and Scorpius was launched out of sight!

Develon gulped after realizing the power it would take to launch someone like that, but before he could react the dual-headed dragon ran up to Develon and Gema swung her tail like a baseball bat, making Develon fly off into the sky!

Develon: (yelling) Looks like I'm being blasted off agaaaaiiiinnn...!
Gemi: Talk about a home-run contest am I right? Hahaha! Come on!
Fireburn: What? Ah! Put me down! What are you doing!?

Gemi used his magic to lift both Sailiga and Fireburn and placed them onto his back with Crocavile. After using his magic to lift and magically carry the meteor, they ran all the way back to the Dreadyaught, Gemi laughing all the way. And before Flynn could ask what was happening, Gema used her magic to start the ship's engine and it began flying away from the island!

Crocavile: Kekeke! Well that was sure fun! I had a great time! How about you guys? Guys?
Fireburn: *groan* Warn us next time you do that, will you?😡
Sailiga: Crocavile! I knew you'd retrieve the emerald greeko! I never thought we'd find Gemini as well though! Brilliant work Crocavile!😄
Crocavile: Uh, thanks.😅 But to be honest I wasn't even trying. It just sort of happened, you know?
Gemi: Crocey old buddy! Come here! (Hugs Crocavile tightly) Hahaha!😆
Fireburn: "Old buddy"!?
Crocavile: Yeah, heheh. Gemi and Gema were like rivals of mine when I was a crook. We'd steal from each other all the time. I never you were one of those Zodiac Warriors though old pal! Does this mean I should refer both of you as gemini now?
Gema: Please, you can keep refering to us as Gema and Gemi. It's easier.
Gemi: Yeah. Apart we may be Gema and Gemi, but put us together, and you get Gemini! Hahaha!😂
Fireburn: "Put you together and-"? (Face palms) Oh of course! You take the "ge" out of Gemi and put it behind Gema, and it sounds like Gemini! 😬
Crocavile: OH WOW! Why didn't I think of that!?
Gemi: Seriously? You're just NOW figuring it out?! Geez, even your phone's auto-correct could figure it out faster.😉
Sailiga: Well, no matter greeko. Not only do we have the emerald, but a Zodiac as well! What could possibly go wrong now meke?😁

Suddenly there was a loud boom and the ship rocked forward and shook greatly! No one was hurt ans the engine was fine, but the back of the Dreadyaught was blasted! Flynn managed to take back control of the Dreadyaught before it could get too out of control.

Crocavile: You HAD to pull a Bubsy Bobcat on us didn't you Sally!?😡
Gema: Ohmigosh, what happened!?
Fireburn: Scorpius happened! Look!

Sure enough, the serpent shaped dragon was flying after them, and he looked real mad for sure! He must've fired a blast of his black flame at them!

Gemi: Oh nelly! Doesn't this guy ever give up!?
Fireburn: Clearly he doesn't! Somebody get down to the turret and start firing!
Crocavile: Sorry. The turret was what blew up!
Sailiga: Scorpius must've aimed right at it when he blasted us!
Fireburn: Then we'll just have to return the favor! Croc, make sure the meteor doesn't get off the ship! Sailiga, tell me you can throw something at Scorpius to detour him!
Sailiga: Ok, I can throw something at Scorpius to detour him greeko.
Fireburn: I didn't mean- (face palms) Just start throwing something at him!
Sailiga: Um, okay!

Sailiga took a small breath and started to concentrate. Without much warning, the leaves on his shoulders seemed to grow and glow. Sailiga put his hands close together and he made an energy ball of pure sunlight, then he threw it right at Scorpius. Unfortunately Scorpius managed to dodge it, but Sailiga threw more energy balls at the dragon to keep him away. Fireburn used his power to createchunks of ice in his bare hands and threw them at Scorpius. Scorpius would either dodge or blast the projectiles before they could hit him, but he was still inching closer to the Dreadyaught!

Gemi: Hang on! Me and Gema have an idea!
Crocavile: Huh? Where're you going!?

Gemi and Gema ran to the very back of the Dreadyaught where Scorpius was approaching. The two dragon heads then opened their mouths and slowly charged up two individual energy attacks in their mouths, Gema's being white in contrast to her black scales vice versa for Gemi's. Then they both shot out their energy attacks at the same time, causing the two attacks to almost orbit each other as they were reaching Scorpius. Scorpius barely had time to think before he was hit with the twin attack, stunning him and sending him falling through the sky below!

Gemi: Hey Scorpius! Tell Kaos he can nip it in the bud for me! Hahahaha!

Sailiga: Selece! 😮
Crocavile: Uh, are we sure he ain't dead? I mean, he's falling through the sky to lord knows where.
Gemi: Ah don't worry about it!
Gema: We used our lowest energy level to attack him. He's only stunned I promise.
Fireburn: (panting) ...Again... Warn us next time you do that...
Crocavile: Phew😥. At least we're done here right? Let's go home huh?

Later

Naturally Crocavile and Sailiga were caught by the Senseis. Apparently Sunny and Eteru had gotten worried when Sailiga and Crocavile had seemly disappeared, so they said something about it to the Senseis and, well, here we are. However, after hearing and seeing what happened involving Gemini, Muerte decided that the meteor nor Gemini wouldn't have been recovered if the two weren't there to help. Muerte decided to lwt the whole incident slide and leave Sailiga and Crocavile with a warning for now. The two were grateful for the decision.😅

Fireburn was congratulated for doing the mission. He deserved it! Fireburn really just wanted to get some rest, and after talking to a very grateful Sun Dragon, he thought he'd finally get some time alone when without warning Sailiga came and dragged Fireburn to where the meteor was kept. Apparently Sailiga wanted Fireburn to meet some other friends of his that were also a part of this "dilemma" he mentioned.

Sailiga: Now everyone, this is Fireburn. Fireburn, this is Eteru and that is Sirin greeko!
Eteru: Um, hi? Sailiga why did-
Sailiga: He is a part of the solution meke! Him and this emerald of course!
Fireburn: Uh, can anyone please explain to me what he's talking about?
Sirin: Wouldn't we all like to know?😒
Eteru: I-I'm sorry about this Fireburn. We're kinda in the middle of something real sensitive here. Sailiga, I don't know why you think Fireburn is-
Sailiga: Wait! Wait until you hear this greeko. Fireburn copied one of Scorpius' powers! COPIED greeko!
Sirin: What!? How!?
Fireburn: Uh... N-nothing to it really. J-just make your fire breath hot enough!😅
Sailiga: As if! He said so himself he used Amber!
Eteru: 😲"Amber"!? You mean the Powers of Amber!?
Fireburn: *sigh* Y-yeah... But please, don't tell anyone. No one knows anything about it anyway-
Eteru: Are you kidding!? Fireburn, I have Amber as well! You're not alone! I-I'm not alone! 😁
Fireburn: 0.0 ...You have Amber as well? ...I-I can't believe it! Sirin: 😐 This... This is incredible. I don't believe it. Maybe you aren't so bothersome after all Sailiga. Sal?
Sailiga: This emerald too, it's a part of the solution too greeko!
Eteru: Um, how? Do we need its energy?
Sailiga: No no, it's what's INSIDE it we need! Step back all, I want to try something selece.

Unaware of what Sailiga was talking about, the others stepped back as the Questing Beast placed his hands onto the emerald meteor and closed his eyes. For quite some time he seemed to be speaking to himself silentlyas he did nothing else. Eteru and Fireburn were starting to talk amongst themselves and Sirin just stared and wondered as they waited for Sailiga to finish whatever he was doing.

Suddenly the meteor seemed to crack and shake slightly as Sailiga stepped back. Before long the meteor shattered open, revealing what was inside...

Eteru and Fireburn were shocked and uncertain of what it was that was apparently inside, but Sirin could already tell that this wasn't just anything. Eteru couldn't tell if Sirin was simply shocked or if she was horrified, but what Sailiga said explained everything and shocked the three even more.

Sailiga: (clears throat) Everyone, I spoke to him and he is definitely with us! This is Malachite!
Malachite: (shakes head) Whoa whoa... That was a trip. Hello, hi, I come in peace!😅Hehehe. So, where's the snack bar I'm hungry?
Sirin: 😲 *foreign language*!
Fireburn: Wh-what did she say? And what IS Malachite!?
Eteru: Uh... Sailiga?
Sailiga: Don't worry meke, we can absolutely trust him! Tell them Malachite!
Malachite: (mumbling due to a mouth full of food) fjshsdosn-
Sailiga: Malachite. Not with food stuffing your cheeks please. You are not a chipmunk.
Malachite: (large gulp) Sorry. (Stretches) So, I'm from elsewhere, um, I'm perfectly fine with clothes as you can see I'm wearing traditional clothing, and... What else am i supposed to talk about?
Eteru: How about why you look so much like me!?

Malachite and Eteru took a long look at each other. Both appeared to be Oriental Dragons. However, Malachite was nearly all kinds of green with yellow stripes and emerald green frills. And true enough, he wore what appeared to be a short sleeve kamono with a long "skirt" of sorts. Not to mention that Malachite's tail frill looked like a massive fan. Though similar, Eteru and Malachite were clearly different.

Malachite: Oh yeah, we do look kinda the same don't we?
Fireburn: Um... Sirin?
Sirin: 😨 (stuttering)He- He's- He's-
Sailiga: *sigh* Do i have to say it greeko? Eteru, you nor Fireburn are alone! Malachite has told me via telepathy that, he too, is... wait for this... A Worldender hybrid! Puhuhu! What joyous occasion this is yes!?😀
