Sophie's POV

I can't beliveI have to do this again.

I grumble to myself and hold a death grip on the steering will of my SUV. I swing into a parking spot and carelessly park. I yank the keys out and slam my door shut. I angrily waddle up the few stairs and into the elementary school. As soon as I enter the principle's office, I grab my seven year old's arm and start pulling him away.

"No! You were supposed to call my dad! She's gonna go bonkers! HELP ME!" Felix screams and I ignore him as his twin sister follows us quietly. "Oh no. She's not yelling at me. I messed up this time. I told everyone I was gonna be better and not get in trouble. I lied. I 100% lied. I'm a lier! I'm a LIER!" He rants to himself. By the time he finishes, I'm already opening the door to the backseat and I help both of them in. I close the door and get in the driver's seat. "Mommy?"

I look back at him through the rearview mirror. "Yes baby?" I say and sigh.

"I'm sorry. I had a good reason this time though!" Felix says.

I'm about to argue when Finley speaks up.

"He's actually right this time, Mom." Finley states.

"Hey!" Felix exclaims.

Finley signals for her twin to be quiet. "A boy was picking on me, so I pushed him. Felix saw what happened and tackled him to the ground and he told him not to bother me any more. Felix took all the blame when the teacher realised what was happening."

Felix stares out the window and start crying.

"Are you mad Momma?" Felix questions.

I shake my head and wipe a couple tears away. "No, baby! Momma's proud of you. You take after your Dad so much. I love you both so much!"

"We love you too, Momma!" They both say at the same time.

I smile at them and hug my growing stomach. YOU'LL BE HERE SOON LITTLE ONE. WE ARE ALL WAITING ON YOU. I drive all of us home and enjoy moments like these.

"Well, it seems like you have had an eventful day." Ace says and rubs my back.

I nod my head with my eyes closed.

"Are feeling okay? How's the baby?" He asks and moves his hand to rest on my round stomach.

I open my eyes and smile slightly. "The baby is good and I'm just taking everything one day at a time."

He smiles at me and pecks my lips. "I love you," he says.

"I love you too."

Two pairs of feet come running into our room and start jumping on the bed. Ace gets up and starts chasing them. It's a good thing that we weren't doing anything. I'd rather not have that conversation with the kids until they are much much older.

This is our life.

Ace runs his own garage working on cars. I am a stay at home mom most of the time. The kids keep me busy. Ace and I wanted to have more kids after the twins and we tried to, but I had a miscarriage two years after the twins were born. It's been a tough road for Ace and I. We are both there for each other in the good times and bad times. Ace is an amazing father just as I predicted all those years ago.

I love him and all love ALL my kids. I love my life and all the things God has given me. I know our story isn't over yet and there's more to do, so I'm not going to give up now. I'm going to take it one day at a time and live my beautiful life.

I hear a loud crash from some where in the house. "HE DID IT!" The twins exclaim and I sigh.

Ace quickly comes in our room with his hands up. "I didn't do it. I'll clean up the mess and you just stay there and rest."

I ignore him and get out of bed. "I'm going to supervise you while you clean up the mess."

"DADDY DID IT!" The twins shout as soon as we walk into the living room and my eyes land on a broken vase.

"Come over here and sit with momma," I tell the twins. "We are going to watch dad clean up the mess he made."

The twins giggle and sit on either side of me. Ace shakes his head. "Number 7," he mutters underneath his breath.

Yes. This is the 7th vase that has been broken.
