A misguided demon, camouflaged as an angel

Hiding behind the dark veneers of ancient tales,

He sees nothing, but what he believes to be the truth,

His once sharp mind, now tinged with crimson illusions.

Two astute minds, assemble the pieces of a dangerous mindgame,

And they chase the footprints of a faceless demon.

A demon that can breath fire that might end the world

And they must find him, before he puts the final nail to their crucifix.

Fearless they persist, even as death dangles just inches above,

Like a sword, that might fall upon them, severing their heads.

As the demon dies like an angel, consumed by his own fire

They watch their moment of victory, after so many losses.
