Little feet clambered over the hedge,

Hiding their small frames in the thick bushes.

Yet the peals of laughter always gave them away.

Summers filled with bouts of happiness and silly quarrels.

Age has stolen the laughter and mirth from them.

The silly quarrels are now heated arguments

And they hide themselves behind thick masks.

Yet they play alone, forgetting to seek others.

Isn't it true?
