84.Demands
2nd November 2016.
Prompt- ' Mailbox: Create a poem, short story, or journal entry based on a recent item of mail you've received.' from think written.com
Eyes skim across the mails scattered across the desk.
Neatly typed and printed out to perfection.
There was not a single handwritten letter,
Not a scribbled line, meant only for you.
It is just a load of printed demands,
Demanding time, money and whatnot.
These letters have nothing to give in return.
No promise to come back soon.
No well wishes for your newest endeavour
No endearments or snippets of local.gossip.
Nothing personal to bring a smile on your face.
Just numbers and alphabets, that remind you of liabilities.
Boring....I know.:(
