"My eyes search for your face among the crowd,

Heart, brimming with sweet anticipation.

The heart-wrenching ache of disappointment,

Does not deter the flower of hope, from blooming.

Your words bring forth such blissful ecstasy

And the mind as light as a cloud wanders away

Into a land of happily ever afters, where dreams come true.

Will you take my trembling hands into your warm ones?

Guiding me through the blinding brightness of this world,

To spent our lives only in eachother s company?

For when I'm with you, I feel complete."

I would have told all these to you in person,

Or would have written this in a note

Yet I refrain, for you'll never know me,

Or this unrequited love that I harbour for you.
