I wish you would look at me once more,

With those eyes that shine with warmth and love.

But you can no longer see me, for I'm now an outcast.

Silent and withdrawn , lurking in the shadows.

I know our paths will never cross again,

For I'm just a crumbled page from your past.

Yet I wish I were something more, something special,

For then I would have been worth your love.

But for now I shall remain in these shadows,

As I cannot let you see me like this.

And even as I sense this darkness creeping upon me,

I shall dream of a future with you, in another life.

One day early, for tomorrow I'll be busy. Does it sound okay?
